Abstract

This research aims to determine the effectiveness of the use of mnemonic techniques to improve learning outcomes social science in fifth grade of Elementary School. Design of this research is collaborative classroom actions research that researcher make collaboration with the teachers. This research is conducted to fifth grade students of SD Negeri Adikarto 2 Muntilan by 20 students. Technique of data retrieval is using the evaluation sheet instruments in the form of a written test. The variable in this study is a mnemonic technique as independent variables and the learning outcomes as the dependent variable. The results of student learning indicators showed that the increasing have to reach more than 75% to. This research was conducted in two cycles, each cycle included two meetings.The results of the research show that the mnemonic technique can improve the student learning outcomes. The average value of the students learning in social science lesson before get the action (in prior action) is 60.25 whereas the result after the first action (first cycle) the results obtained 70.75 and in the second cycle the result is 79.75.The difference in the average value of the first cycle and the second cycle is 8.5. The percentage of completeness in the first cycle is 70% while the percentage of completeness in the second cycle up to 90%. It shows that there is the increased from phase I to phase cycle II. So, It can be concluded that the use of mnemonic techniques can improve the student learning outcomes in social studies learning.

Abstract

Revealed that the nutritional state of a person is a picture of what is consumed in the long term. Nutrition condition canmanifest less or more. Levels of malnutrition can be mild, moderate or severe. Likewise, the state of nutrition can be mild,moderate or severe. Someone who lack one or more nutrients can cause a deficiency disease. Only mild deficiency can causedecreased ability to function although sometimes not realized it was due to nutritional factors. In accordance with the theoryof food food become essential to the survival of a person in accordance with the functions of food, so oraang must understandwhat is needed for the body and food functions. Children in the age of 5-8 years is a golden period in which the child shouldbe provided with sufficient food nutrition as foundation or baseline for survival that will come without experiencing interferencewill disrupt the process of development of the child because that age is included vulnerable nutritional need attention important.Vulnerable nutrition usually occurs in infants, toddlers, school children 6-13 ye hypertension, coronary heart, diabetes andstroke. Other terms submitted by Michael J. Gibney et al (2005: 304) A small child underweight was sh ort (stunted), irondeficiency, smallish by age gestasionalnya. (SGA, small for gestational age) or up to a lower level, it can show the deficiency zineperubahn behavior. Therefore, the need to pay attention to the nutritional status of the existing on-age children of school ageespecially SDN N 2 Krinjing has experienced a catastrophic eruption of Mount Merapi in 2010 ago that after the accidentoccurred nutritional status is there to say good nutritional status as it should be. SDN 2 Krinjing Magelang district needsto do research after experiencing a catastrophic eruption of Mount Merapi in 2010 ago for school age range, especially intonutritional status for the survival of both growth and development when it comes to survival. Knowing the nutritional statusby measuring BMI (Body Mass Index) in SDN 2 Krinjing Magelang Merapi disaster and Knowing the number of childrenclassified as more nutritional status and malnutrition by taking the measurements of BMI (Body Mass Index) in SDN 2Krinjing Magelang Merapi disaster. So that the nutritional status of the SDN 2 Krinjing Magelang district in accordancewith the data presented in the results of the study showed undernutrition or underweight status and rightly need to be addressed,which means before the happening things that are not desirable. Thus, BMI is one tool used in obtaining data on nutritionalstatus can be said to be appropriate for a person is his body balanced or normal is balanced between weight and height so thatthe interconnections between them, and as a benchmark to become a benchmark in status nutrition.

Abstract

Permasalahan dalam penelitian ini adalah bagaimana tingkatkebugaran jasmani mahasiswa PGSD FKIP UMMagelang pada tahun2017. Tujuan dalam penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui tingkatkebugaran jasmani mahasiswa prodi PGSD FKIP Ummagelang padatahun 2017. Penelitian ini menggunakan penelitian deskriptif. Populasipenelitian ini adalah mahasiswa prodi PGSD FKIP UMMagelangberjumlah 116 mahasiswa. Teknik sampling yang digunakan adalahtotal sampling atau sampling jenuh, besar sampel yang digunakanadalah 116 mahasiswa. Instrumen yang digunakan untuk mengambildata adalah tes kebugaran jasmani multi stage menurut kenneth HCopper. Data penelitian dianalisis dengan menggunakan distribusifrekuensi dan tabulasi. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian diperoleh bahwakebugaran jasmani yang dimiliki oleh mahasiswa PGSD FKIPUMMagelang adalah kesegaran jasmani yang diakatakan kurangsekali berjumlah 84 orang dengan presentase 74%, kurang denganjumlah 23 orang dengan presentase 20%, sedang jumlah 8 orangdengan presentase 7%, baik dengan jumlah 1 orang dengan presentase1% dan baik sekali 0 orang dengan presentase 0 %. Secara umumkesegaran jasmani dapat dikatakan kurang dengan banyaknya respondendan dengan presentase tersebut. Selain itu ada hal-hal yangmempengarungi hal tersebut diantaranya adalah faktor ekternal daninternal. Faktor ekternal adalah lingkungan dan konsisten, sedangkanfaktor internal adalah pola hidup sehat dan kebiasaan.Saran yang dapat diberikan pada penelitian ini adalah 1. Memberikansosialisasi tentang pentingnya kebugaran jasmani 2. Perluanyamemberikan perlakuan terhadap sampel dan memantaunya secaraberkala 3. Melakukan perilaku hidup sehat

Abstract

This research is based on the background of volleyball athletes master volleyball ball club when doing smash the jump is not optimal, as well as when blocking the opponent's smash range is higher than the blocking so it is easy to penetrate. This research was conducted with a quantitative approach with a preexperimental design method with a two-group pretest-posttest design. The sample in this study were 20 volleyball master volleyball ball club athletes. Treatment uses the principles of Frequency, Interval, Time and Type (FITT). Frequency is no more than 2x24 hours, intervals use the principle of submaximal intensity sets and reps, time uses duration based on the increase in heart rate beat per minute (bpm), type uses the aerobic glycolysis energy system. The results of the study were then processed using IBM SPSS 23. While the results of the knee tuck jump 93.10 became 99.00 paired sample T-test hypothesis test on pretest data and posttest data obtained sig value (2-tailed) = 0.002. Based on the results of the study, the application of knee tuck jump training has an effect on increasing leg power.

Abstract

Abstract

Keselamatan komunitas kampus merupakan prioritas utama, khususnya di lingkungan dengan aktivitas fisik intensif seperti Fakultas Ilmu Keolahragaan Universitas Negeri Malang. Rendahnya pemahaman Bantuan Hidup Dasar di kalangan non-medis berpotensi memperburuk outcome keadaan darurat. Pengabdian masyarakat ini bertujuan mengevaluasi efektivitas pelatihan Bantuan Hidup Dasar (BLS) dan berkontribusi dalam meningkatkan kompetensi civitas akademik yang mempunyai relevansi dengan SDG 3 (Good Health and Well-Being) atau SDG 4 (Quality Education pada peningkatan kesiapsiagaan darurat penyebaran kompetensi BLS di lingkungan akademik.Metode yang digunakan adalah eksperimen one-group pretest-posttest design terhadap 22 mahasiswa yang dipilih secara purposive sampling. Intervensi berupa pelatihan Bantuan Hidup Dasar AHA 2020 selama 8 jam yang mencakup modul teoritis dan sesi praktik dengan manikin QCPR. Data dikumpulkan melalui kuesioner pengetahuan dan penilaian keterampilan objektif sebelum dan setelah pelatihan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan peningkatan yang sangat signifikan. Rata-rata kesalahan per responden turun dari 2,09 pada pre-test menjadi 0,09 pada post-test, yang merepresentasikan peningkatan pemahaman sebesar 95,69%. Sebanyak 90,91% peserta berhasil mencapai skor sempurna pada post-test. Temuan ini membuktikan bahwa pelatihan Bantuan Hidup DasarĀ  berbasis simulasi efektif dalam meningkatkan pengetahuan dan keterampilan praktis dalam menangani keadaan gawat darurat. Kesimpulan bahwa pelatihan BHL merupakan intervensi yang strategis untuk membangun budaya keselamatan kampus. Oleh karena itu, direkomendasikan integrasi pelatihan ini ke dalam kurikulum non-formal, disertai dengan pelatihan penyegaran berkala dan perluasan cakupan ke seluruh unit universitas. Basic Live Support Training to Build an Emergency Response Campus The safety of the campus community is a top priority, especially in environments with intensive physical activity like the Faculty of Sport Sciences at Malang State University. Poor understanding of Basic Life Support among non-medical personnel has the potential to worsen emergency outcomes. This community service aims to evaluate the effectiveness of Basic Life Support (BLS) training and contribute to improving the competency of the academic community that is relevant to SDG 3 (Good Health and Well-Being) or SDG 4 (Quality Education) in improving emergency preparedness and disseminating BLS competency in the academic environment. The method used was a one-group pretest-posttest design experiment with 22 students selected by purposive sampling. The intervention was an 8-hour AHA 2020 Basic Life Support training that included theoretical modules and practical sessions with QCPR manikins. Data were collected through knowledge questionnaires and objective skill assessments before and after the training. The results showed a very significant improvement. The average error per respondent decreased from 2.09 in the pre-test to 0.09 in the post-test, which represents an increase in understanding of 95.69%. A total of 90.91% of participants managed to achieve a perfect score on the post-test. These findings prove that simulation-based Basic Life Support training is effective in improving knowledge and practical skills in handling emergencies. The conclusion is that BHL training is a strategic intervention to build a campus safety culture. Therefore, it is recommended that this training be integrated into the non-formal curriculum, accompanied by periodic refresher training and expanded to all university units.
