Abstract

Learning organization can be defined as the ability of organization to advance its capacity creating its future. The concept of learning organization which is common in private sector is also applicable to the public factor. Organization can not learn, only individual that learns. For being a learning organization, organization must facilitate individual with effective structure. At Universitas Terbuka, the Indonesia Open Learning University, individual learning is not related with organizational structure. In some occasion, organizational structure restricted individual learning. At the level of group, organizational structure has been affecting the group abilility for learning. To ovesrcome the inhibition of the formal structure, team usually informal communication channel.

Abstract

This thesis examines the evaluation of the Provincial Village Competition Policy in North Kalimantan Province, focusing on its implementation and impact as per the Indonesian Ministry of Home Affairs Regulation No. 81 of 2015. It highlights the importance of rural development for enhancing the welfare of North Kalimantan's residents. While rural development aims to improve living standards and sustainably utilize natural resources, villages often face challenges like poverty and inadequate infrastructure. The Provincial Village Competitions serve as a strategy to boost rural development. This research uses a descriptive, qualitative approach employing policy evaluation theory. It involves stakeholders engaged in executing this policy, analyzing data through NVivo software. The study uncovers obstacles hindering village participation in these competitions despite North Kalimantan's potential. Factors such as individual motivation, insufficient preparation, and administrative shortcomings contribute to reduced involvement. The evaluation process comprises pre-competition, event execution, and assessment stages, determining winning villages based on specific criteria. Although regulations support these competitions, participation rates have declined, posing a significant concern. The research suggests improvements to enhance the Provincial Village Competition implementation, aiming for sustainable rural development and bettering the lives of North Kalimantan's rural communities.

Abstract

Background: Studi ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji secara mendalam peran guru dalam penerapan pembelajaran mendalam (deep learning) di bidang pendidikan. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan mendistribusikan kuesioner kepada 54 guru yang berasal dari berbagai jenjang dan latar belakang pendidikan. Data dianalisis menggunakan teknik Weighted Mean Score (WMS) untuk memperoleh gambaran tingkat penerapan konsep pembelajaran mendalam di kalangan guru serta pelaksanaan workshop. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa partisipasi guru dalam penerapan pembelajaran mendalam menunjukkan tren peningkatan, meskipun belum merata di seluruh kelompok usia, tingkat pendidikan, dan masa kerja. Sebagian besar guru telah memiliki pengalaman mengikuti pelatihan dan mencoba menerapkan konsep pembelajaran mendalam di kelas, namun masih terdapat sebagian yang belum familiar dengan pendekatan ini atau belum mengintegrasikannya secara konsisten dalam praktik pembelajaran. Temuan ini menegaskan pentingnya pelatihan berkelanjutan, pendampingan profesional, serta kebijakan yang mendukung inovasi pedagogis agar guru dari berbagai latar belakang mampu mengimplementasikan pembelajaran mendalam secara efektif guna meningkatkan kualitas proses dan hasil belajar peserta didik.
