Abstract

Tari Piring Lampu Togok merupakan tarian yang terdapat di desa Gurun Bagan Kelurahan VI Suku Solok. Tari Piring Lampu Togok ini ditarikan oleh laki-laki maupun perempuan berjumlah genap 2 sampai 10 orang dengan cara berpasangan memakai properti piring yang diujung jari tengahnya dipasang cincin yang terbuat dari dama atau buah kemiri dan lampu togok yang masih menyala diletakkan di atas kepala dengan membawakan gerak-gerak tari yang bersumber dari manusia, alam, dan binatang. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui bentuk, estetika tari Piring Lampu Togok di desa Gurun Bagan Kelurahan VI Suku Solok. Penelitian ini adalah penelitian kualitatif dengan metode yang digunakan adalah deskriptif analisis. Teori yang digunakan sebagai kerangka dasar dalam berpikir untuk mengkaji fenomena ini antara lain teori bentuk dari Jacqualine Smith dan teori estetika dari A.A.M. Djelantik. Hasil penelitian ini mengungkapkan bentuk, estetika yang terdapat dalam tari Piring Lampu Togok. Nilai estetika tari Piring Lampu Togok tercermin pada unsur-unsur yang membentuk tari Piring Lampu Togok, yaitu adanya gerak, penari, properti, pola lantai, rias busana, musik, dan tempat pertunjukan Togok lamp plate is a dance from Gurun bagan village VI suku Solok. Togok lamp plate dance is danced by both men or women with the even number, from 2 to 10 people in pairs using the property like a plate and on the middle finger is placed a kind of ring that made from dama or pecan fruit with lights that are still lit up on their head by bringing dance movements that come from humans, nature, and animals. The purpose of this research is to known about the shape, aesthetics of togok lamp plate dance in Gurun bagan village VI suku Solok. This research is a qualitative research with descriptive analysis method. The theories that used as the basic framework in thinking to examine these phenomena are the form theory of Jacqualine Smith and the aesthetic theory of A.A.M. Djelantik. The results of this study is to reveal the form of aesthetics that contained in togok plate dance. The aesthetic value of togok lamp plate dance is reflected in elements that formed the dance, which is the existence of motion, dancers, properties, floor patterns, dressing, music, and the venue

Abstract

Nagari Jawi-Jawi is one area that has a very rich artistic, cultural and literary potential. This is evidenced by the stretching of the activities of cultural arts centers which are held almost every month. To become a developed Cultural Village and tourism destination, there should be attention from the local government, universities, and the private sector to develop its potential. The target to be achieved from the implementation of this program for the people of Nagari Jawi-Jawi, is Services and Training. The approach to help partners, in this case Nagari Jawi Jawi in the effort to be Cultural Village, is conducted in form of counseling and training carried out by the method of lecture and demonstration.
