Abstract

The development of computer network technology is rapidly advancing in response to society's increasing demand for network services. Currently, the most widely used network protocol is IPv4, but it has some limitations. To address these limitations, a new network protocol, IPv6, has been developed. More and more new network devices are using IPv6 as their IP address, while many existing technologies and internet devices still use IPv4. Therefore, a mechanism is required to transition from IPv4 to IPv6. The 6RD tunneling method is used in Power Line Communication networks to connect two or more network devices using electrical wiring as a data transmission medium. The Power Line is equipped with a charger for a laptop and a drill, creating a load to test the performance of the Quality of Service(QoS) with the throughput parameter. The measured Rerate throughput upload was 11800 Kbit/s without any additional electrical load, 9377.8 Kbit/s with a laptop charger as an additional load, and 6082.2 Kbit/s with a drill as an additional load. The Rerate throughput download was 8098.8 Kbit/s without any additional electrical load, 7782.8 Kbit/s with a laptop charger as an additional load, and 5996 Kbit/s with a laptop charger and a drill as additional loads. With this transition mechanism, IPv4 can communicate with IPv6, allowing for more efficient network communication.

Abstract

There are many factors that influence the achievement of learning objectives, one of which is learning media. With the use of appropriate learning media, it can make learning more effective so that teachers can create a new, conducive atmosphere among students and something that cannot be presented or raised in class can be presented clearly and easily understood by students. This PKM aims to facilitate the school, especially SDIT AL-Ittihad Pekanbaru, to make learning materials in the form of animated videos as an alternative to existing learning media. This PKM produces animated videos to assist teachers in delivering Al fatihah and Asmaul Husna (Allah SWT Almighty and Allah SWT Most Giver) materials to grade 4 elementary school students so that they can become alternative learning media in schools so that they can become alternative learning media in schools. This activity received a very good response and enthusiasm from the school and from grade 4 elementary school students, so as to improve good relations between PCR and SDT AL-Ittihad Pekanbaru.

Abstract

Data stored in the database must have protection against attacks and interference. Attacks and disruptions have been experienced by the Caltex Riau Polytechnic (PCR), which only has one database. A database that experiences an attack or disruption results in the information system being inaccessible to users. Currently, PCR does not have an information system recovery plan so that information system recovery will take a long time so that it can be accessed again by users. Therefore, PCR requires a recovery plan if the database experiences an attack or disruption. Based on these problems, this research will create a recovery plan so that the information system can be accessed more quickly when the database experiences an attack or disruption. In this research, database replication was carried out using a Disaster Recovery Plan (DRP) to respond to emergencies, provide backup operations during disruptions, and manage recovery and rescue processes afterwards. The method used is Master to Master MySQL Replication. This method uses 2 servers as master 1 and master 2. If the database on master 1 experiences changes, it will be copied to master 2 in real time. By applying the Master to Master Replication method to the DRP, the PCR information system can provide a directly updated backup for the database, when it experiences an attack or damage
