Abstract

ABSTRACT Engagement in community service with the theme of environmental conservation aims to increase public awareness of the importance of preserving the environment for sustainability. This activity is carried out through various implementation methods, such as counseling, practical exercises, training, and the creation of biopores. The project will be conducted in Sekaran Village, RT 02 RW 02, Gunungpati Sub-district, Semarang City. The approach will involve outreach and practical demonstrations, targeting the community in Dasa Wisma groups in RT 02 RW 02 Sekaran. Evaluation will be conducted to enhance the quality of future activities. The project has progressed smoothly and effectively, encompassing stages from socialization, implementation (biopore creation), to evaluation. During this initiative, 10 biopores were constructed at different locations within the RT 02 RW 02 Sekaran area. The enthusiasm of the community (Dasa Wisma group) in participating in this activity was remarkably high, evidenced by nearly 90% attendance of Dasa Wisma members and other community members outside this group. The project provided knowledge and skills to the community regarding environmental conservation methods, ecological restoration, and enhanced community involvement in preserving environmental sustainability. Abstract

Tourism is one of the industrial sectors that is interrelated with all other sectors of life, such as economic, social, cultural, environmental, and political (Ardiansyah & Purnaweni, 2023). As in Central Java Province, which offers a variety of tourist attractions. The tourist attraction in Bandungan Subdistrict, namely the Gedongsongo Temple tourist attraction, is one of the leading cultural attractions in Bandungan Subdistrict. The number of tourists fluctuates, indicating high interest, although tourists' visits are usually short. Gedongsongo Temple has great tourism potential, and the sustainability of its management is the key to maximizing these benefits without damaging the environment or culture. In addition, based on observations and interviews that have been conducted, Gedongsongo Temple tourism has problems or obstacles including lack of promotion, lack of information related to Gedongsongo Temple, lack of quality and capacity of professional human resources in the tourism sector. So with these problems, sustainable tourism development is needed at Gedongsongo Temple. The purpose of this research is to describe the development of sustainable tourism in the Gedongsongo temple area in the socio-cultural, economic and environmental fields. This research method uses a quantitative descriptive approach with a quantitative research type. The population used is the tourist attraction managers, traders, and tourists, with the sample used being 100 visitors, one of the tourist attraction managers, and several traders. Data collection techniques through interviews, questionnaires, observation, and documentation. In addition, the data analysis technique used is descriptive percentage analysis. The results of this study are that Gedongsongo Temple has diverse cultural and artistic values with gamelan and dance performances, selametan activities, and temple cleaning activities. Visitors' perception of the value of culture and art is 70%. Vanaprastha accommodation that uses wooden buildings and eateries in the Gedongsongo Temple area sell traditional food. So that it still maintains the value of culture and art. In addition, the Gedongsongo Temple area is guarded by officers who operate every day. Visitors' perception of the tracking path is easy to pass by 70%. In addition to offering temples, it also offers horse rentals, photography services, hot springs, ayanaz, and supporting service facilities such as food stalls, souvenir shops, places of worship, toilets and landfills. Visitor perceptions regarding service facilities are 65% and 67% regarding electricity and communication networks and 59% regarding the facilities offered. Visitor perception regarding the use of local products is 60%. The price of souvenirs offered is also affordable, but based on interviews, Gedongsongo Temple does not yet have a distinctive local product as an icon of the tour itself. Visitors' perception of the scenery, water and air quality is 82%. The water comes from the Mount Ungaran spring, and the air is also cool because of the many trees. Visitors' perception of the cleanliness of the area is 63% and 69% regarding cleanliness and comfort at the tourist attraction.

Abstract

Pertanian kentang yang ada di daerah dataran tinggi dieng merupakan salah satu pertanian yang memproduksi jumlah kentang yang cukup banyak dan sudah dikenal oleh masyarakat luas. Salah satu daerah yang mempunyai pertanian kentang yang luas adalah Kecamatan Kejajar di Kabupaten Wonosobo, Provinsi Jawa Tengah. Namun, dikarenakan pertanian yang dilakukan di lereng yang curam dan selalu ditanam oleh jenis tanaman yang hampir sama, dibutuhkan sebuah metode konservasi lahan yang dapat digunakan guna mengurangi dampak dari lereng curam dan proses penanaman. Untuk itu dilakukan sebuah survey guna mengetahui jenis konservasi lahan kritis akibat pertanian kentang yang sudah dilakukan berdasarkan Natural Based Solutions di Kecamatan Kejajar. Metode penelitian dilakukan dengan observasi lapangan dilakukan dengan cara survey langsung ke setiap desa di Kecamatan Kejajar dan mengidentifikasi serta menganalisis jenis konservasi apa yang sudah dilakukan oleh para petani kentang di desa tersebut dan masih dalam lingkup Nature Based Solutions dan studi pustaka mengenai jenis-jenis konservasi yang dapat dilakukan. Dalam penelitian ini diketahui terdapat 15 desa di Kecamatan Kejajar dan semua desa tersebut sudah melakukan metode konservasi lahan setidaknya satu jenis metode.

Abstract

Permasalahan sampah menjadi tantangan tersendiri bagi penduduk yang ada di Kota Magelang, luas wilayah yang terbatas 18,56 km2 dan jumlah penduduk yang tinggi dapat menyebabkan tingginya volume sampah yang dihasilkan. Sehingga penelitian ini dilakukan bertujuan untuk menganalisis sebaran dan kapasitas TPS untuk pengelolaan sampah berkelanjutan menggunakan metode analisis spasial, analisis deskriptif dan analisis kapasitas TPS. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa TPS tersebar di tiap-tiap kelurahan, namun terdapat 6 kelurahan yang tidak memiliki tempat penampungan sementara, selain itu terdapat dua kelurahan yang memiliki lebih dari 1 TPS. Kemudian terdapat 3 TPS melebihi kapasitas yaitu TPS Maluku 125%, TPS Perum Korpri, 111,11 %, dan TPS Tarumanegara 111,11 %, dan TPS lain masih dalam kategori dapat menampung sampah penduduk. Tempat penampungan sementara sampah di Kota Magelang masuk kedalam kategori Transfer Depo dengan mayoritas tipe III dan hanya TPS Cacaban yang bertipe II.
