Abstract

The sources for learning the grammar of the Arabic language are not only from the books, but also YouTube videos. Therefore, some teachers/lecturers develop videos and upload it on their YouTube channel. This has also been done by lecturer at the State Islamic University of Kiai Haji Achmad Siddiq Jember so that students can study it before joining class. In its development, developing learning videos requires an expert feasibility test. Thus, in this study, the researcher conducted a feasibility analysis of Arabic language learning videos on Silfiyah Rohmawati's YouTube channel as a student learning resource. The purpose of this study is to determine the feasibility of Arabic grammar learning videos on the Silfiyah Rohmawati YouTube channel as a student learning resource. The research approach used is a quantitative approach, with evaluative research methods. In collecting data, the researcher used research instruments in the form of documents and evaluation using validation sheets from two experts. Then, the researcher analyzed the results of the evaluation using statistical formulas. The results showed that there were 12 videos tested. After calculating the scores from material experts and learning media experts, these learning videos received ratings between 94.65% and 98.35%, so that they were considered to get excellent ratings. In addition, the two experts also provided criticism and suggestions for video improvement. The material expert provided an assessment that videos 1,3,4,5,6,7, 9, 10, and 11 are considered suitable for use without revision, while videos 2, 8, and 12 are considered suitable for use with revision. Meanwhile, the learning media expert assessed that all learning videos were suitable for use without revision.

Abstract

Abstract: The COVID-19 pandemic affected not only profoundly negative impact, but also inspired an innovative learning model, especially Arabic learning at the Faculty of Dakwah, UIN Khas Jember. Lecturer and students used technology as a flipped classroom learning medium during the pandemic and post-pandemic. This study is carried out to describe 1) The planning for flipped classroom in Arabic learning during the pandemic and post-pandemic, 2) The implementation of flipped classroom in Arabic learning during the pandemic and post-pandemic. This study is qualitative research with a case study design approach. While, the presentation is focus on the explicit data collection activities of interview, observation, and documentation, as well as triangulation of sources and techniques for data validity. The data is analyzed with the interactive analysis of Miles and Huberman. The results conclude that 1) The lecturer has planned the objectives, materials, media, activities, and assessments before implementing the flipped classroom in Arabic learning, 2) The flipped classroom model that applied in Arabic learning at the Faculty of Dakwah is a traditional and mastery models. And during the pandemic, synchronous and asynchronous classes had been implemented by online, while in the post-pandemic period, asynchronous classes and face-to-face classes had been implemented on campus.

Abstract

ABSTRAK Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian deskriptif kualitatif yang menjelaskan penerapan Metode Pembelajaran Konseling atau CLM dalam pembelajaran bahasa Arab di perguruan tinggi. Metode ini merupakan salah satu metode pembelajaran bahasa yang dikembangkan oleh beberapa ahli terkemuka dan dianggap sebagai peletak dasar yaitu Charles Curren dan Paul La Forge. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan terdapat lima tahapan psikologis yang harus dilalui siswa, yaitu Tahap Embrionik, Tahap Penegasan Diri, Tahap Eksistensi Terpisah, Tahap Eksistensi Terpisah, dan Tahap Mandiri. Selain itu, penelitian menunjukkan bahwa ada beberapa kelebihan dan kekurangan yang dapat ditimbulkan jika menggunakan metode ini. Kelebihannya antara lain metode ini dapat meningkatkan kemandirian klien dalam belajar karena orientasi pembelajaran ada pada peserta didik itu sendiri. Adapun kekurangannya, metode ini dinilai mempunyai tingkat evaluasi yang agak rumit terutama untuk pelaksanaan tes formatif dan tes sumatif dibandingkan evaluasi dengan menggunakan metode lain. Kata Kunci: Metode Pembelajaran Konseling, Pembelajaran bahasa Arab, penerapan ABSTRACT This research is a qualitative descriptive study that explains the application of the Counseling Learning Method or CLM in learning Arabic at universities. This method is one of the language learning methods developed by some of the most prominent experts and is considered as the foundation stone, namely Charles Curren and Paul La Forge. The results of the study show that there are five psychological stages that must be passed by students, namely the Embryonic Stage, Self Assertion Stage, Separate Existence Stage, Separate Existence Stage, and Independent Stage. In addition, research shows that there are several advantages and disadvantages that can be generated when using this method. Among the advantages is that this method can increase the client's independence in learning because the orientation of the lesson is on the learner himself. As for the drawbacks, this method is considered to have a rather complicated evaluation level, especially for conducting formative tests and summative tests compared to evaluation using other methods.

Abstract

Abstrak Kajian teoretis ini mengkaji berbagai strategi pengajaran kosakata bahasa Arab (mufrodat) kepada anak usia dini di Pendidikan Islam Anak Usia Dini (PIAUD). Penelitian ini menyoroti pentingnya ragam pendekatan pembelajaran, seperti metode tematik, kontekstual, dan berbasis bermain, dalam meningkatkan perolehan kosakata anak usia dini. Penggunaan media interaktif, seperti kartu flash, lagu, dan video animasi, sangat berperan dalam menciptakan pengalaman belajar yang menyenangkan dan sesuai dengan perkembangan kognitif anak. Penelitian ini menemukan bahwa pengajaran tematik yang terintegrasi dalam aktivitas sehari-hari lebih efektif dibandingkan dengan metode hafalan tradisional. Pendekatan pembelajaran kooperatif dan partisipatif juga menghasilkan partisipasi siswa yang lebih baik serta memperkuat pemahaman mereka terhadap kosakata yang diajarkan. Selain itu, kompetensi dan kreativitas guru sangat menentukan keberhasilan pengajaran mufrodat. Guru yang mampu menyesuaikan metode pengajaran dengan kebutuhan siswa secara signifikan dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar. Studi ini memberikan wawasan penting bagi para pendidik mengenai strategi pengajaran kosakata yang efektif dan menyenangkan dalam pendidikan bahasa Arab anak usia dini. Abstract This theoretical study examines various strategies for teaching Arabic vocabulary (mufrodat) to early childhood students in Islamic Early Childhood Education (PIAUD). The research highlights the significance of diverse instructional approaches, such as thematic, contextual, and play-based methods, in enhancing young children's vocabulary acquisition. The use of interactive media, including flashcards, songs, and animated videos, plays a crucial role in creating an enjoyable and developmentally appropriate learning experience. The study found that thematic teaching integrated with daily activities is more effective than traditional rote-learning methods. Cooperative and participatory teaching approaches also lead to better student engagement and understanding of vocabulary. Furthermore, the competence and creativity of teachers are essential for successful vocabulary instruction. Teachers who adapt their teaching strategies to the specific needs of their students can significantly improve learning outcomes. This study provides valuable insights for educators on effective and engaging vocabulary teaching strategies in early childhood Arabic education.

Abstract

ABSTRAK Penelitian ini bertujuan mendeskripsikan pembelajaran bahasa arab untuk anak usia dini yang mencakup tujuan, materi, metode/media, dan evaluasi di RA Ulul Albab dan TK Aisiyah Bustanul Athfal 4 Mangli Jember. Penelitian ini penting dilakukan karena kajian mendalam mengenai pembelajaran bahasa Arab pada anak usia dini masih terbatas. Penelitian menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif jenis studi kasus multisitus. Data dikumpulkan melalui wawancara, observasi, dan dokumentasi, kemudian dianalisis dengan model Miles & Huberman yang terdiri dari data collection, data display, data condensation, dan conclusions; drawing/verifying. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa 1) Tujuan pembelajaran bahasa arab di kedua lembaga adalah mengenalkan kosa kata dasar, 2) Materi di Ulul Albab mencakup kosa kata, lagu, huruf hijaiyah, dan angka 1-10, sedangkan di TK Aisiyah mencakup kosa kata, huruf hijaiyah, dan angka 1-10, 3) Metode/strategi di Ulul Albab yaitu mengahafal, menyanyi, dan gerakan peraga, medianya yakni LKPD, buku panduan, pasir, dan plastisin. Adapun di TK Aisiyah yakni bernyanyi, syair, dan cerita, dan medianya yaitu buku, majalah ALIF, video, laptop, dan LCD, 4) Evaluasi di kedua lembaga terdiri dari formatif dan sumatif. Penelitian ini memberikan gambaran tentang pembelajaran bahasa Arab anak usia dini sekaligus menjadi rujukan bagi pendidik dan pengambil kebijakan dalam mengembangkan model pembelajaran yang lebih sesuai. Kata kunci: Anak Usia Dini, Pembelajaran Bahasa Arab, Studi Multisitus.

Abstract

This study is purposed to describe the result application of monopoly game modification as a learning media of Arabic speaking in Program for Arabic Language Development (PKPBA) of the State Islamic University (UIN) of Maulana Malik Ibrahim Malang. This study uses a qualitative approach with descriptive research type. The data collection techniques used are participant observation and documentation. The results of this study are in the form of steps taken by the researcher in applying result modification of monopoly game as a learning media of Arabic speaking. The activities of the game include expressing thoughts, ideas, feelings, experiences and information through telling stories and asking questions about the materials mentioned. As for the recommendations, the results of the modification of the monopoly game in this study can be applied in learning to speak Arabic, but can also be used for other language competencies, such as listening, reading and writing, and certainly with several different and adaptable game rules. The results of this study can be used as a material modification of the monopoly game that will be used by tutors or other lecturers by adjusting the material and the ability level of students. Abstract

A career woman inevitably faces challenges in establishing a harmonious family within the family sphere and in a workplace environment that may not be supportive. Generally, the issues often encountered by career women include a need for more time spent with the family, diminished communication within the family, and suboptimal performance in their work. From this phenomenon, this research aims to describe the problems faced by career women in building a harmonious family and understand how career women build a harmonious family in the Dusun Salak of Sumber Salak, Ledokombo, Jember. The qualitative research method uses a case study approach or direct field immersion. The findings of this research indicate that: 1) The problems faced by career women in building a harmonious family include minimal interaction with the family, a lack of quality time spent together, and inadequacies in child-rearing. 2) How career women build a harmonious family in the Dusun Salak of Sumber Salak, Ledokombo, Jember involves fulfilling their duties and roles based on the Quran and Hadith, fostering mutual respect and affection among family members, maintaining trust, and nurturing good relationships with parents and in-laws.
