Abstract

This article aims to look for learning problems faced by students of class VI MIS Handapherang-Ciamis, the teacher's efforts and the steps taken to overcome these problems. By using qualitative-descriptive method, research concludes; First, students experience difficulty in reading and writing. The problem factor comes from the parents and from the students themselves. Second, the efforts made by the class teacher at school to grade VI students who experience learning problems that is maximizing their sense of hearing by listening to the teacher when explaining the learning material, guided when the child does not understand the learning material and finally teacher guided when the child does not pay attention to the teacher explaining in learning process. Third, the teacher's stages in overcoming student learning problems starts from determining the problem to solving the problems that occur in students of class VI MIS Handapherang.

Abstract

Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh rendahnya kemampuan berhitung perkalian peserta didik kelas III MI Al-Fadliliyah Darussalam pada mata pelajaran Matematika pokok bahasan operasi perkalian bilangan bulat. Sebagai upaya meningkatkan prestasi belajar peserta didik, peneliti menggunakan alat peraga batang napier.         Metode yang digunakan adalah metode Penelitian Tindakan Kelas (PTK) model Kurt Lewin. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah observasi, teknik tes dan analisis deskriptif. Setelah dilakukan penelitian, penggunaan alat peraga batang napier pada pembelajaran Matematika pokok bahasan operasi perkalian bilangan bulat di MI Al-Fadliliyah Darussalam dapat meningkatkan prestasi belajar peserta didik pada setiap siklus. Pada siklus I nilai terendah siswa adalah 40 dan nilai tertinggi siswa adalah 90. Pada siklus II nilai terendah  siswa adalah 70 dan nilai tertinggi siswa adalah 100. Serta ketuntasan hasil kemampuan berhitung untuk meningkatkan prestasi belajar peserta didik pada siklus I ketuntasan belajar peserta didik adalah 70,29% kemudian pada siklus II mengalami peningkatan menjadi 80,00%.

Abstract

This research is motivated by the low student learning outcomes of class III SDN 2 Cidolog, Cidolog Subdistrict, Ciamis Regency on the Subject of Science as an effort to improve student learning outcomes by using the Inductive Learning Model. Class management can be done with a varied and fun learning model. The method used is the Kurt Lewin model class action research method, because the method is felt to be very suitable in natural science learning to learn about events that occur in nature. The data collection techniques used are observation, test or assessment techniques and description analysis techniques. The technique can be used as a reference in learning, especially in learning science. After conducting research, the results obtained are 1) the ability of teachers in designing science learning planning to reach an average value of 91.93. 2) the teacher's skills in implementing science learning reaches an average value of 91.3. 3) while student learning outcomes reach an average value of 86.11 in the range of 94% with complete criteria of 17 students out of 18 students. This proves that increasing student learning outcomes can be implemented by increasing teacher skills both in planning and implementing learning. The learning referred to is the Inductive Learning Model, which means the results of the analysis show that the proposed hypothesis can be accepted.
