Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pengembangan civic disposition melalui pembelajaran Pendidikan Pancasila dan Kewarganegaraan (PPKn) serta budaya sekolah di SMPN Kota Padang. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif. Informan diambil menggunakan teknik purposive sampling. Terdapat dua sumber data yaitu data primer dan sekunder. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Teknik analisis data menggunakan model Miles dan Huberman. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa bentuk civic disposition siswa di SMPN 1 Kota Padang meliputi tanggungjawab moral, berfikir kritis dan displin. Bentuk civic disposition siswa di SMPN 37 Kota Padang seperti tanggungjawab moral. Budaya sekolah yang ada di SMPN 1 Kota Padang meliputi setor hafalan Al-Quran, English area, dan pondok literasi. Budaya sekolah yang ada di SMPN 37 Kota Padang diantaranya setor hafalan UUD 1945. Strategi pengembangan budaya sekolah dalam menunjang civic disposition siswa di SMPN 1 Kota Padang seperti setor hafalan Al-Quran akan menciptakan sikap tanggungjawab siswa, English area akan menciptakan tingkat berfikir kritis siswa, dan pondok literasi menciptakan sikap disiplin siswa terhadap waktu luang. Budaya sekolah yang ada di SMPN 37 Kota Padang seperti setor hafalan UUD 1945 sebelum pembelajaran PKKn dimulai.AbstractThis study aims to analyze the development of civic disposition through learning Pancasila and Citizenship Education (PPKn) and school culture at SMPN Kota Padang. This study uses a qualitative method. Informants were taken using a purposive sampling technique. There are two sources of data, namely primary and secondary data. Data collection techniques using observation, interviews, and documentation. Data analysis techniques use the Miles and Huberman models. The study results show that the civic disposition of students at SMPN 1 Kota Padang includes moral responsibility, critical thinking, and discipline. The form of civic disposition of students at SMPN 37 Kota Padang is like moral responsibility. The school culture in SMPN 1 Kota Padang includes memorizing the Al-Quran, the English area, and the literacy cottage. The school culture in SMPN 37 Padang City includes memorizing the 1945 Constitution. School culture development strategies in supporting the civic disposition of students at SMPN 1 Padang City, such as memorizing the Al-Quran, will create an attitude of student responsibility, the English area will create a level of students' critical thinking, and the literacy cottage will create a disciplined attitude of students towards free time. The school culture in SMPN 37 Kota Padang is like memorizing the 1945 Constitution before learning PKKN begins.
