Abstract

Penelitian ini melakukan pengujian karateristik pengisian baterai yang menggunakan generator DC magnet permanen sebagai sumber, dan pengaturan pengisian baterai menggunakan Solar Charging Controller (SCC) yang sering dipakai sebagai pengatur pengisian dari panel surya. Pengujian ini dilakukan untuk mengetahui nilai tegangan dan rpm minimal generator agar baterai dapat terisi. Pelaksanaan pengujian dilakukan menggunakan generator DC magnet permanen dengan kapasitas 250 watt, 24 Volt, pada putaran 2750 rpm. Genarator ini dihubungkan ke SCC untuk mengatur pengisian baterai VRLA 12 Volt 7 Ah, dan beban lampu 12 Volt 5 Watt sebanyak 20 buah. Sebagai penggerak mula, digunakan motor induksi 3 fasa yang putarannya dapat diatur melalui Variable Speed Drive (VSD). Parameter arus dan tegangan dari masing-masing generator, baterai, dan beban lampu akan diamati. Untuk mengetahui putarang generator, rpm meter digunakan untuk mengetahui putaran generator. Dari hasil pengujian diperoleh bahwa tegangan minimum generator agar dapat mengisi baterai adalah 12.3 Volt pada putaran 1630 rpm.

Abstract

In this day and age, electricity plays a very important role in life. It can be said that electricity has become the main energy source for every activity in households and industry. The author will conduct comparative analysis research on power usage in postpaid kWh and prepaid kWh. This research aims to determine the cost of the two kWh meters and which of the two kWh meters is more effective. This research was conducted from 20 December 2023 to 25 January 2024. This research was conducted in Jalan Bantiang Village, Malalak District, Agam Regency, West Sumatra, Indonesia. Data collection was carried out by carrying out measurement experiments with the same load and interviewing customers using that type of kWh. After research was carried out, the results obtained were relatively the same when viewed from the cost of using electricity using the same load. Meanwhile, in terms of effectiveness in terms of the level of security, prepaid kWh is safer than postpaid kWh.Keywords: comparison of postpaid and prepaid kWh, effectiveness.

Abstract

PJU-TS(Solar Powered Lighting) is public street lighting where the electrical power for the lights is supplied by an independent system obtained from solar energy. This design aims to describe the PJU-TS design based on solar power and LEDs, with the durability of solar panel and LED modules without being connected to the electric power network and the lighting specifications used in the PJU-TS design at the location of Jalan Binuang, Ngarai Sianok,Agam Regency, West Sumatra using a centralized system where the PLTS is positioned at one point while the lighting is combined or united on one pole. The following is the design of the PJU-TS road so that it works and carries out its functions well and as expected and the installation steps are based on procedures and the sun is the only source of energy for the PJU  TS.Keywords:Centralized System PJU-TS Planning for Binuang Road, Ngarai Sianok,Agam Regency, West Sumatra.
