Abstract

The clavicle is an S-shaped bone that articulates laterally with the acromioma process of the scapula, medially with the manubrium of the clavicular notch to form the clavicular joint. An avulsion fracture is a disconnection of the clavicle bone caused by direct and indirect trauma in the position of the arm being cut off or pulled out (outstretched hand) because the trauma continues from the wrist to the clavicle. Radiography is an appropriate method to show abnormalities in the os calvicula. The aim is to show the anatomy of the clavicle bone and its abnormalities. This examination uses the Antero-Posterior projection. The X-ray aircraft used is GE with a capacity of 500 mA. The tape used is 30 cm x 40 cm. Processing film used is Computed Radiography.

Abstract

Paranasal sinus radiography is an appropriate method for showing abnormalities in the paranasal sinuses and showing abnormalities in suspected Maxillary Sinusitis. The purpose of this examination is to determine the location and location of sinusitis by obtaining an optimal picture with radiographic examination of the paranasal sinuses. This research was conducted at the Radiology Installation of the University of North Sumatra-Medan Hospital. Using a general X-ray unit with an aircraft capacity of 1100 mA in February 2022 - May 2022, with a qualitative descriptive research type. To show the anatomical description and pathological abnormalities in the paranasal sinuses, especially maxillary sinuses, parietoacanthia (water's method) and lateral projections are used. The results of the examination showed that there was Sinusitis Maxillaris Sinistra and a suspected Sinusitis Ethmoidalis Sinistra.

Abstract

Radiography of the ossa pedis (lower extremities) is an examination of the foot bones consisting of 26 bones and divided into 3 parts, namely, 7 ossa tarsalia, 5 ossa metatarsal, and 14 ossa phalanges using a general X-ray plane that aims to show or describe the structure of the bones in the pedis. Corpus alienum is the entry of foreign objects into the body abnormally, usually caused by gunshots, stabs, inhalation, swallowing in certain parts. The radiographic technique used is the dorso-plantar and lateral projections of the plane used is a fixed general radiography with a capacity of (500 mA) but the author only uses (200 mA) and image recording using Digital Radiography. The type of research used is qualitative and descriptive research by means of observation, interviews, data analysis then this research was conducted on April 10-May 10, 2025 in the radiology installation of Drs. H. Amri Tambunan Lubuk Pakam Hospital using a general X-ray unit.

Abstract

Elbow Joint is the joint between the radius-ulna and the humerus. The Elbow Joint examination technique is a radiological examination to see clinical or disease around the elbow joint. In the clinical there is a disease called Arthritis which is inflammation of the joints, especially in the elbow joint. The purpose of this study was to determine the Elbow Joint examination technique and the results of the Elbow Joint radiograph image with clinical arthritis at the Radiology Installation of Medan Haji General Hospital in May 2025, using an x-ray machine with a capacity of 500 mA, but the author only used 100 mA to obtain optimal image sharpness. This study uses a qualitative method, data collection is carried out through observation techniques, and consultations with radiology specialists, and discussions with radiographers, as well as documentation and library studies. The collected data are then analyzed to obtain conclusions. The results of the study show that the Elbow Joint examination technique in clinical arthritis uses two projections, namely Antero posterior and Lateral. through image processing using Computer Radiography (CR). In the lateral projection, the object position is not correct due to the patient's stiff condition. However, the radiograph results produced show a fairly clear anatomical image, so they can help establish a diagnosis.
