Abstract

Literacy learning needs to be experienced by school students. The goal is to optimize students' ability to understand lessons in depth. SMP 2 Sitiotio in Samosir regency seems to need this literacy learning experience. The application of literacy is optimized by utilizing information technology to attract students' interest in experiencing the PKM teaching and mentoring process. Based on observations, it appears that learning activities are conducive and dynamic. Teaching through Unpri's Spada and Zenius application shows that there is a new paradigm for students in literacy learning. The mentoring process also shows continuous interaction outside the classroom. The test results showed that there was an increase in student scores before and after literacy learning by 53.3% with a significance of p < 0.05 and Ha was accepted. Thus, the application of literacy can significantly improve student learning outcomes by utilizing information technology.

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah meningkatkan kemampuan berpikir kritis melalui penggunaan soal keterampilan berpikir aras tinggi pada teks wacana dialog. Teks wacana dialog sebagai bahan pembuatan soal aras tinggi atau High Orders Thingking Skill (HOTS) akan digunakan untuk mengetahui kemampuan berpikir kritis. Aplikasi soal teks wacana dialog menggunakan konteks percakapan di tingkat mahasiswa. Disproportionate stratified random sampling akan digunakan pada populasi mahasiswa Universitas Prima Indonesia karena bersifat stratified dan kurang proporsional. Analisis data penelitian bersumber dari instrumen tes objektif dan angket dengan menggunakan metode explanatory design. Sehingga pendekatan penelitian dilakukan dengan analisis kuantitatif terlebih dahulu, kemudian hasil analisis kualitatif digunakan untuk mengeksplorasi data kuantitatif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan adanya peningkatan kemampuan berpikir kritis yang signifikan setelah menggunakan soal HOTS pada teks wacana dialog. Dimensi proses kognitif dan pengetahuan menunjukkan peningkatan yang simultan dengan masing-masing peningkatan 30,1% secara konseptual; 20,5% secara prosedural; dan metakognitif meningkat 24,3%. Penggunaan soal HOTS pada teks wacana dialog dalam pembelajaran bahasa Indonesia secara simultan juga memberi dampak pembentukan perilaku kritis seperti spekulatif, toleran, dan kesementaraan

Abstract

Thinking creatively through critical reading of editorial texts means that the dimensions of students' creative thinking can be optimized according to their scientific field. So this research aims to focus on the extent of student creativity in creative thinking activities through the critical reading they experience on the object of reading scientific articles. This research also measures the increase in students' creative thinking abilities through lecture activities carried out in groups. To know the contribution of critical reading activities in the affectivity aspect. This research carried out at the Faculty of Teacher Training and Education Unpri, applies quantitative and qualitative research approaches, namely assessing learning outcomes and measuring student learning activities. The research method used is action research using the John Elliot model. Then the research sample was determined using purposive sampling with a total of 40 students. This research resulted in the conclusion that the application of critical reading and creative thinking abilities increased linearly with each increase between cycles, namely 22% to 6% and 25% to 10%. The final scores for critical reading and creative thinking skills were obtained at 80.5 and 80.725 respectively. This shows that increasing critical reading and creative thinking has an impact on student learning activities that become more meaningful and contribute to contextual learning. Keywords: Creative thinking, critical reading, scientific articles, CAR

Abstract

Lifelong Learning can be experienced by every learning community. Instilling the values of academic education with the aim of improving the quality of Human Resources can trigger schools to seek to optimize innovative learning. Freedom to learn cognitive education as a reference for lifelong learning programs seeks to realize inclusive and equitable quality education. It is believed that the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) that spur Indonesia's human development index need to be carried out at the Markus Medan Special School. This program is conducted for Markus SLB students for 1.5 months. The method used is participatory and experimental. During its implementation, students participate in building learning activities, so that data analysis is carried out qualitatively and quantitatively. The collected data is processed interactively and continuously until the data is saturated. The data are also interpreted descriptively through quantitative data measures. The results show that Markus Special School students can participate in cognitive education learning. Continuously, student learning products always influence their learning motivation, especially the results of drawing and motor skills of students. The experimental results showed a significant difference before and after experiencing cognitive education learning activities. As many as 60% of students get test scores above average.

Abstract

Penerapan analisis SWOT yang dieksperimentasikan ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui gambaran pendidik sebagai tenaga ahli yang professional. Melalui analisis yang dilakukan terhadap alumni kampus maka informasi tentang peluang bekerja bagi mahasiswa calon pendidik (guru) akan terlihat secara nyata. Analisis ini juga akan memberikan sebuah strategi dalam mengoptimalkan sumber daya mahasiswa calon pendidik. Sehingga melalui pembelajaran berbasis proyek akan muncul motivasi kerja mahasiswa yang diukur dalam ekperimentasi ini. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan adalah analisis deskriptif dan pengujian hipotesis (uji komparatif). Sehingga melalui software SPSS akan diketahui interpretasi variabel yang dianalisis. Hasil Penelitian menunjukkan bahwa terdapat 60 % alumni yang bekerja sebagai guru atau pendidik sedangkan 40% lainnya bekerja sebagai pekerja perusahaan dan wiraswasta lainnya. Berdasarkan hasil angket motivasi kerja yang diisi para alumni terdapat 29,75% sangat setuju; 47,50% setuju; 5,75% ragu-ragu (tidak tahu); 15,75% tidak setuju dan 1,25% sangat tidak setuju. Hasil ini memberikan kontribusi dalam perumusan strageti “pemasaran” profesi pendidik. Sehingga melalui analisis SWOT (Strengths, Weakness, Opportunities and Threats) diperoleh beberapa rekomendasi untuk nantinya disubstitusikan dalam perkuliahan. Kemudian hasil analisis data terkait motivasi kerja mahasiswa sebelum dan sesudah perlakuan memberikan perbedaan yang signifikan. Melalui perangkat SPSS version 20 diperoleh bahwa data tidak berdistribusi normal secara keseluruhan. Oleh karena itu dilakukan analisis nonparametric dengan uji-z (uji-wilcoxon), dan hasilnya dari 8 populasi hanya kelas bahasa Indonesia C yang tidak mengalami peningkatan hasil belajar yang signifikan sedangkan yang lainnya meningkat secara signifikan. Sehingga dapat disimpulkan bahwa hasil belajar yang diperoleh mahasiswa lebih baik setelah peneliti memberikan motivasi kerja.
