Abstract

This research analyzes the thoughts of Syed Muhammad Naquib Al-Attas about the concept of educators and students. This type of research uses literature. The results of the research show that the concept of Educator and Student for Syed Muhammad Naquib Al-Attas is that an educator is a teacher whose job is not only to transfer knowledge, but also to train the soul and character of students by having good moral character so that they can be used as role models for their students, while students are someone who studies at an educator where he not only prioritizes his knowledge but understands etiquette as a student as well as applies it in his life. The concept of educators and students Syed Muhammad Naquib Al-Attas is very relevant to be used as a reference in both formal and non-formal education environments in Indonesia today. Because the concept of Educator and Learner Syed Muhammad Naquib Al-Attas discusses the improvement of adab in the world of education to date.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the paradigm of weton calculation in marriage in Balong Besuk Village, Diwek District, Jombang Regency. In addition, it is also to find out what factors cause the calculation of weton in the community. This research includes field research using qualitative methods. The data collection uses interview, observation, and documentation methods. The data sources consist of Primary Data: Primbon Jawa Books, interviews with local community leaders, and the people involved, as well as Secondary Data sourced from books and scientific works. The conclusion from the conclusion is that the weton calculation that occurred in Balong Besuk Village, Diwek District, Jombang Regency is still being carried out. The factors that influence one of the most prominent is to maintain the legacy of the ancestors or ancestors. From the phenomena that occur. Giving rise to pros and cons, more or less there are people who practice and some do not. From the results of the research above, the researcher concluded that the calculation of weton in marriage from an Islamic law perspective is permissible if it does not conflict with the Qur'an and Sunnah and prioritizes the benefit of the community as well as tolerance in behavior.

Abstract

Climate change on a global scale has triggered an increase in sea levels and heightened the frequency of extreme weather events, especially in maritime countries such as Indonesia. These conditions necessitate the development of accurate and adaptive weather and marine prediction systems. This study proposes a multi-output prediction model using the eXtreme Gradient Boosting (XGBoost) algorithm based on BMKG's Automatic Weather Station (AWS) data from the BMKG. The data cover the period 2022-2025 with high temporal resolution and include five main parameters: wind speed, water level, water temperature, relative humidity, and wind direction. The hyperparameter tuning process led to the discovery of an optimal configuration capable of enhancing the model's accuracy. The evaluation results of the coefficient of determination (R²) and Root Mean Squared Error (RMSE) metrics show that the model can predict water temperature, water level, and relative humidity with very high accuracy, which is more than 85 percent. The model also performed well in predicting wind speed, although it still faced difficulties in handling wind direction due to its cyclical nature. Overall, the XGBoost approach proved effective in modeling weather and marine parameters simultaneously and has the potential to be integrated into environmental monitoring systems in Indonesia's coastal and archipelagic regions.
