Abstract

Politeknik Negeri Ketapang merupakan salah satu perguruan tinggi yang berada di KabupatenKetapang Provinsi Kalimantan Barat. Politeknik Negeri Ketapang memiliki suatu perpustakaan, dimana terdapatberbagai macam jenis buku yang sering digunakan oleh sivitas akademika maupun pihak luar. Data- data tentangaset yang meliputi buku sangatlah kompleks, dimana dalam mengelola data-data tersebut, perpustakaanPoliteknik Negeri Ketapang masih menggunakan dokumen kertas yang disimpan dalam filling cabinet, sehinggaterdapat kendala dalam penyediaan informasi atau laporan-laporan yang mendukung dalam pengambilankeputusan serta pengecekan persediaan buku dalam upaya peningkatan pelayanan kepada pembaca. Padapenelitian ini, dilakukan perancangan Sistem Informasi Perpustakaan Politeknik Negeri Ketapang berbasisKonsep Group Technology, dimana dalam implementasinya menggunakan Software Microsoft Access 2007.Penelitian dilakukan melalui beberapa tahapan, antara lain tahap perencanaan, analisis, perancangan,implementasi. Pada bagian akhir, dilakukan tahap pengujian. Hasil pengujian menunjukkan bahwa sisteminformasi telah berjalan dengan baik dan sesuai dengan desain yang telah dibuat sebelumnya. Hal tersebut dapatdilihat dengan laporan-laporan yang dihasilkan yang dapat mendukung dalam pengambilan keputusan, danaplikasi sistem informasi lebih baik dibanding dengan sistem yang telah berlaku. Hal tersebut salah satunyadapat dilihat dari segi efisiensi waktu dalam hal pencarian data serta pembuatan laporan.

Abstract

Human needs are increasing in the world of transportation, especially for two-wheeled vehicles or more. In the automotive world, especially cars, there are various kinds of systems that work. These systems work in conjunction with one another so that if one of these systems is damaged, the car will be damaged. such as damage to the cooling system which can cause overheating of the engine. Overheating is the occurrence of excessive heat above the engine's working temperature which is caused by damage to one of the components of the cooling system. The occurrence of overheating in the Hilux double cabin car engine is caused by a lack of coolant, the thermostat is not functioning properly, the radiator cap is leaking, the inlet and outlet hoses are cracked and the water pump is damaged. To avoid damage, preventive maintenance must be carried out. Check the coolant in the radiator reservoir every 1 week and change the fluid every 80,000 km. Thermostat replacement every 80,000 km. Replacement of radiator caps every 80,000 km. Replacement of inlet and outlet hoses every 80,000 km. Water pump replacement every 80,000 km. and a v-belt replacement every 60,000 km.

Abstract

In general, most workshops still use manual methods to remove the power steering seal, so the processing time for removing the power steering seal will take around 1 hour. So that the work of removing the power steering seal is faster and more precise so that it is more effective and efficient, a power steering seal removal tool is needed to make the job easier. Based on the problems above, it is deemed necessary to make tools to assist in removing the power steering seal on Toyota Hilux cars. Making the power steering seal removal tool requires selecting the right materials, so that this tool is able to work optimally, and the operation is very simple so that everyone can use this tool. This tool is made using ST37 steel with a strength of 37 Kg/mm2. St37 iron is easy to get and the price is relatively cheap. This power steering seal removal tool consists of various components that support each other so that it can work properly. Some components of the power steering seal removal tool are threads, nuts and iron bars. Based on the test results after the manufacturing process is carried out, using this seal removal tool only takes 2 minutes, whereas if removing the seal using the manual method it will take 1 hour. The seal has a high potential for damage if the seal is removed using a manual method. But if you use this seal removal tool, the seal will not be damaged.
