Abstract

This research was motivated by curriculum changes in the world of education which caused updates in the teaching materials used in the learning process, especially in mathematics subjects multiplication material for numbers.  This research aims to analyze Mathematics teaching materials for multiplication of numbers in the kurikulum merdeka of grade IV Elementary School. This research method is a qualitative descriptive research method. Research data were collected by interview, observation and documentation study techniques. The subjects in this study were class teachers located in Ciamis Regency, namely grade IV teachers of SDN 2 Sumberjaya and SDN 2 Cihaurbeuti and class teachers located in Tasikmalaya City, namely grade IV teachers of SDN 2 Tuguraja. The implications of this study show that the mathematics teaching materials for the multiplication of numbers in grade IV have met the curriculum standards, but there are still obstacles that need to be overcome. These findings can be the basis for developers to design more comprehensive teaching materials, so that they can improve students' understanding. Thus, the development of teaching materials that are more complete and in accordance with the needs of students is expected to support a more effective learning process in the independent curriculum. Abstract

Rumusan masalah dalam penelitian tindakan kelas ini adalah bagaimana penerapan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe TSTS (two stay two stray) berbantuan Jarkikateti dapat meningkatkan keaktifan belajar dan bagaimana penerapan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe TSTS (two stay two stray) berbantuan Jarkikateti dapat meningkatkan prestasi belajar. Jarkikateti adalah teknik atau cara mudah mengalikan dua buah matriks dengan bantuan jari tangan untuk memasangkan elemen elemen matriks yang akan dikalikan. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan dalam dua siklus, ada empat tahapan pada setiap siklus yaitu : perencanaan, tindakan, pengamatan dan refleksi. Perbedaan antara siklus 1 dan siklus 2 yaitu pada siklus 2 berbantuan Jarkikateti sedangkan siklus 1 tidak berbantuan Jarkikateti. Data penelitian diperoleh dari hasil tes, observasi dan wawancara. Analisa data dilakukan dengan analisis deskriptif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan keaktifan peserta didik meningkat dari 72,22 % pada siklus 1 menjadi 91,67 % pada siklus 2, sedangkan rata-rata prestasi belajar meningkat dari 62,50 pada siklus 1 menjadi 76,25 pada siklus 2. Simpulan dari penelitian ini adalah bahwa (1) penerapan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe TSTS (two stay two stray) berbantuan Jarkikateti dapat meningkatkan keaktifan belajar dan (2) penerapan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe TSTS (two stay two stray) berbantuan Jarkikateti dapat meningkatkan prestasi belajar materi Matriks di kelas XI MIPA 3 SMA Negeri 1 Bantarkawung pada tahun pelajaran 2022/2023.
