Abstract

NAPZA is the acronym of Narkotika (narcotic), Psikotropika (psychotropic), and Zat Adiktif (addictive substances) which includes natural substances or synthetic which will cause the changes inphysical and psychic functions and will also cause dependence if it is consumed. Teenagers are veryvulnerable to consume narcotic because of their getting pressure from their peer group, their curiosity totry it, and their ego. The objective of the research was to know the influence of the pre and post peer group training onknowledge and attitude of SMA I students at Padangsidempuan about the prevention from NAPZA atPadangsidempuan. The type of the research was quasi experiment with non-equivalent control groupdesign. The population was all 414 tenth and eleventh grade students in the academic year of 2012-2013.The samples were 26 students from Class X (eight classes) and Class XI (five classes). The data wereanalyzed by using univatriate and bivatriate analysis with wilcoxon test. The result of the analysis showed that there was the disparity of the effectiveness of teenagers’knowledge in the treatment group before and after the training with p=0.002, and there was the disparityof effectiveness of teenagers’ attitude in the treatment group before and after the training with p=0.001. It is recommended that the management of SMA Negeri I, Padangsidempuan, perform selfdevelopment program which might be run by an organization so that the students can participate or beinvolved in any school activity, spend their spare time in positive activities, and cooperate with the theirparents in order that their parents will know their children’s success in any competition in the future.

Abstract

HIV (Human Immunodeficiensy Virus) is a virus that attacks and destroys the human immune system so it can not withstand diseases that attack the body. When the immune system is damaged or weakened, it will be easily attacked by various diseases, such as tuberculosis, diarrhea, skin diseases, etc. AIDS (Acquired Immuno Deficiency Syndrome) is a set of symptoms that arise due to the destruction of the human immune system caused by HIV infection. Today HIV/AIDS is the greatest health problem around the world are almost without exception Indonesia. The number of events tends to increase and the transmission process is so easy and quick. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of education about HIV/AIDS with a lecture on the level of students' knowledge SMAN 4 Padangsidimpuan 2016. The research is a pre-experiment (pre-experimental designs). The population in this study were all students SMAN 4 Padangsidimpuan class X and XI Academic Year 2015/2016 consisting of 17 classes and totaled 544 people. A sample of 34 people obtained through Proportionate Stratified Random Sampling technique in which samples were taken randomly with appropriate attention to the proportion of the existing classes in the population. The statistical test used was paired sample t-test or t-test. The results showed that the respondents who have a good knowledge of 26.5%, just 58.8%, 14.7% less. Results of paired samples T-test with a probability t 6.866 0.000 (<0.05). There is the influence of education about HIV/AIDS with a lecture on the level of students' knowledge. The effect is good.

Abstract

Behavior is actions or activities of the man himself who has a very wide expanse include: walk, talk, cry, laugh, work, study, write, read, and so on. Counseling is an effort to change human behavior conducted through educative approach. Educative approach is defined as a series of activities carried out in a systematic, planned and directed by the active participation of individuals, groups, or communities to solve the problem by taking into account the social, economic, and local culture. Sampling techniques Method in research this is stratified random sampling with a sample of 60 peoples.The research design uses one group pretest-posttest, which aims to determine the effect of counseling with a lecturing and a poster on the behavior of food. In this study an instrument or means of data collection are observation sheets, Based on the results revealed that the mean knowledge gained knowledge factor pretest posttest mean of 6.08 and 11.47 with a mean difference of 5.39. With confidence index lowest and highest -6.376 -4.404. Based on these results the value of p. obtained significancy 0.000 (p <0.05), while the attitude factor, mean attitude pretest posttest mean of 7.23 and 11.23, with a mean difference of 4.0. With confidence index lowest and highest -4.768 -3232. Based on the results obtained significancy p value of 0.000 (p <0.05), for the action factor 7:00 pretest and posttest mean attitude of 11.72, with a mean difference of 4.72. With confidence index lowest and highest -5554 3,879.Based on results obtained significancy p value of 0.000 (p <0.05) And from the above table shows that the overall result p value = 0.000 <0.05. From these results it can be concluded that Ha received or no influence Extension Methods Lecturing and Posters on behavior measures Snacks Food Consumption Students at Elementary School No. 200 402 Sub sabungan Jae 2016.
