Abstract

This research aims to explain the role of the social capital of local community in integration process of inter-sociocultural. Discourse of multicultural society is important to be known because the difference of social community has a big potential to be a social disintegration. Nevertheless, the social life, which has different of culture, was not always occurred the disunion. Local wisdoms of community as social capital could facilitate an adhesive social so that they lived in social harmony. The type of this research is descriptive qualitative describing inter-ethnic social integration by taking place Wonomulyo, Polewali Mandar, West Sulawesi, one of provinces in Indonesia. The data collection techniques were observation, depth interview, and documentation. Withdrawal informants were done by purposive sampling. The theory used in this study was social capital by Robert Putnam and Pierre Bourdieu. This theory explained social capital by studying social habitus of local community. The results showed that social capital of local community had a role on processing integration of community that differ ethnic and culture. As a result, the ethnic groups integrated well was characterized by social relationships among ethnic groups remain in a stable state and bound in the integration of groups. Then, the equilibrium of groups created assimilation and acculturation of culture in the society. The ethnic groups cooperated each other in economy and social activity and there was no social conflict among them.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan mengungkapkan tentang peran modal sosial dalam proses pengintegrasian masyarakat multi etnis. Diskursus masyarakat multikultural penting ditelaah karena perbedaan dalam masyarakat memiliki potensi yang besar terjadinya disintegrasi sosial. Namun demikian, kehidupan masyarakat yang memiliki keragaman budaya tidak selamanya terjadi ketidaksatupaduan. Kearifan masyarakat sebagai modal sosial dapat memfasilitasi kerekatan sosial sehingga mereka hidup dalam harmoni sosial. Tipe penelitian ini adalah dekriptif kualitatif yang menggambarkan integrasi sosial lintas etnik dengan mengambil tempat di Wonomulyo, Polewali Mandar Sulawesi Barat, salah satu provinsi di Indonesia. Tehnik Pengumpulan data adalah observasi, wawancara mendalam, dan dokumentasi. Penentuan informan  dilakukan dengan purposive sampling dan teori yang digunakan adalah modal sosial yang dikembangkan oleh Robert Putnam dan Pierre Boudieau. Teori ini menjelaskan modal sosial dengan mempelajari habitus sosial masyarakat lokal. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa modal sosial masyarakat lokal memiliki peran dalam proses integrasi masyarakat yang berbeda secara etnik dan budaya. Hasilnya adalah kelompok-kelompok etnik terintegrasi dengan baik yang ditandai dengan hubungan sosial di antara mereka dalam keadaan yang stabil dan terikat erat dalam integrasi kelompok. Kemudian, keseimbangan antarkelompok menciptakan asimilisasi dan akulturasi budaya dalam masyarakat. Kelompok etnis bekerja sama satu sama lain dalam lingkup kehidupan sosial secara luas dan tidak ditemukan konflik sosial di antara mereka.

Abstract

This study discusses the application of the Contextual Teaching and Learning (CTL) learning model in improving the understanding of the Hajj rituals of class X students of SMK Amsir 1 Parepare . The research in this thesis aims to determine the increase in students' understanding of the X grade Islamic Religious Education subject at SMK Amsir 1 Parepare by applying the CTL learning model. This type of research is experimental research . The design used was Quasy Experimental Design , the research instrument was a written test. Data collection techniques are test techniques, and documentation; Data management and analysis techniques include Validity Test Statistics, Reliability Testing, and Hypothesis Testing. The results of this study are (1) The increased understanding of students' Hajj rituals in the experimental class after being treated, the post-test results increased was 85.60 while the pre-test results in the experimental class were 67.65 (2) the application of the CTL learning model proved effective in improving students' understanding of the Hajj rituals. This is evidenced by the results of the post-test test in the control class and experimental class, it is obtained t count (9.331) ≥ t table (1.725) (t count is greater than t table) then H 0 is rejected and H 1 is accepted.

Abstract

This article aims to discussed the Khalwatiyah Zamman in Wajo Regency, South Sulawesi. The concept of Da'wa and the form of the practice of the teachings of the Khalwatiyah Zamman in Wajo Regency was formed by the strategy of Da'wa ; the Khalifah (teachers) in the Khalwatiyah school, the Baiat which became the member in Khalwatiyah, the Zikir done consistently and the figure used as guidance. The supporting factors of Khalwatiyah because the city of Sengkang where the dominant of Khalifah Puang Lompo who is the old man of the Khalifah in Patte'ne whose existence is supported by the government and all descendants of the Khalifah and its followers. The inhibition of its existence does not move structurally organizational so that Khalwatiyah in Wajo developed naturally from the descendants and some of the sympathizers who eventually became followers in the teachings of the Khalwatiyah of Wajo Regency.
