Abstract

Literature have widely described the women existence and inequality. Feminist literary criticism is a study which focuses on analysis of women demanding justice of their existence. It also describes the elements of inequality occurred in "zeina" novel written by Nawal Al-Saadawi. The object of this research is the theory of existentialism feminism of Simone de Beauvoir who stated that women should be aware of its existence by treating themselves consciously. This research is analyzed by descriptive method. The result of this research indicates that there are some feminist elements referred to Simone de Beauvoir theory found in "zeina" novel. namely (1) personality dynamic; including willing of freedom and freedom without any regulation (2) gender consideration (3) society (4) cultural principles and (5) women’s physique.

Abstract

This research is titled feminism in Banat al-Riyadh novel by Rajaa Al Sanea. This novel tells the lives of four women in the city of Riyadh who experienced injustice due to the rules of the family as well as from the government, which restricted the freedom of women; therefore I am interested in reviewing this title. This research focuses on one core problem: how to illustrate the feminism in the novel. The research method used in this research is descriptive method of analysis, and the results obtained from this study found some images of feminism; firstly, the desired freedom of women in this novel is to demand freedom in choosing a life partner, and freedom in social interaction. Secondly, education for women because women also have an important role for the progress of the nation, the advancement of a nation depends on the advance of education for women. Thirdly, a husband cannot divorce his wife unilaterally; there is a specific rule on this matter, so that women are not harmed by the situation.---Penelitian ini berjudul feminisme dalam novel Banat al-Riyadh karya Rajaa Al Sanea. Novel ini mengisahkan kehidupan empat perempuan di kota riyadh yang mengalami ketidakadilan yang disebabkan aturan dari keluarga maupun dari pemerintah, yang membatasi kebebasan perempuan, oleh karena itu saya tertarik mengkaji judul ini. Penelitian ini difokuskan pada satu permasalahan inti yaitu: bagaimana gambaran feminisme dalam novel. Adapun metode penelitian yang digunakan peneliti pada penelitian ini adalah metode deskriptif analisis dan hasil yang diperoleh dari penelitian adalah peneliti menemukan beberapa gambaran feminisme adalah pertama: kebebasan perempuan yang diinginkan novel ialah menutut kebebasan dalam memilih pasangan hidupnya, dan kebebasan dalam berinteraksi sosial. kedua: pendidikan bagi perempuan karena perempuan juga memiliki peran penting bagi kemajuaan bangsa, majunya suatu bangsa tergantung majunya pendidikan bagi perempuan. ketiga: talak bagi seorang suami tidak boleh menceraikan istrinya secara sepihak, ada aturan tersendiri mengenai hal ini, sehingga perempuan tidak dirugikan dengan situasi tersebut.DOI : 10.15408/bat.v24i1.6536

Abstract

The research is titled 'Violent Conflict in the novel' ismi ahmar 'by orhan parmuk. This study focuses on two core issues of violent conflict and lafaz-lafaz factors that show violent conflict. The analytical technique used is the method of analysis description that is used to analyze the data by describing or describing the data that has been collected as it is without intending to make conclusions that apply to the public or generation. The results obtained from research that is, the factors of conflict first factor biyulujiyah, that is the way someone do violence to his opponent or the way he melakukakn killing on his opponent. The second factor wastiqah, namely the murder that occurred between close friends, family and friends. Third factor ijtimaiyah, namely the relationship with social as in school and workplace so that happened violence. The fourth factor ijtimaiyah kharijiah, namely violence that occurred in the outside community such as the inclusion of the attack from the outside so that there was violence and murder.---Penelitian ini berjudul ‘Konflik kekerasan dalam novel “ismi ahmar” karya orhan parmuk. Penelitian ini fokus pada dua permasalahan inti yaitu factor-faktor konflik kekerasan dan lafaz-lafaz yang menunjukkan konflik kekerasan. Adapun teknik analisa yang digunakan adalah metode deskripsi analisis yaitu digunakan untuk menganalisis data dengan cara mendeskripsikan atau menggambarkan data yang telah terkumpul sebagaimana adanya tanpa bermaksud membuat kesimpulan yang berlaku untuk umum atau generasi. Adapun hasil yang diperoleh dari penelitian  yaitu, factor-faktor konflikpertama factor biyulujiyah, yaitu cara seseorang melakukan kekerasan kepada lawannya atau cara dia melakukakn pembunuhan pada lawannya. Kedua factor wastiqah, yaitu pembunuhan yang terjadi antara teman dekat, keluargakerabat dan teman. Ketiga factor ijtimaiyah, yaitu hubungan dengan social seperti di sekolah dan tempat kerja sehingga terjadilah kekerasan. Keempat factor ijtimaiyah kharijiah, yaitu kekerasan yang terjadi di masyarakat luar seperti masuknyapeperangan dari luar sehingga terjadilah kekerasan dan pembunuhan.DOI : 10.15408/bat.v24i1.7591
