Abstract

Sufism or Sufism in Islam are two things that can not be separated, because Sufism is a breath in carrying out Islam in individual and social practices. So far, the public's perception of Sufism is something extreme and far from the value of modernization, not even interested in exploring or studying it. While today's society is in the era of modern Islam more and more new civilizations are entering. Like it or not, everything in the community will be accepted both positively and negatively. So the step to re-popularize the bag in the development of modern society, is the right step to support negative things, by strengthening the basic foundation of religion to build civilization in modern Islamic society today. Tasawuf atau Sufisme dalam Islam adalah dua hal yang tidak dapat dipisahkan, karena tasawuf adalah sebuah nafas dalam menjalankan keislaman dalam praktek individu dan sosial. Sejauh ini, anggapan masyarakat tentang tasawuf adalah suatu hal yang ekstrim dan jauh dari nilai modernisasi, bahkan tidak tertarik untuk mendalami ataupun mempelajarinya. Sedangkan masyarakat saat ini berada dalam zaman Islam modern yang semakin banyak peradaban baru yang masuk. Mau tidak mau segala hal yang berada di lingkungan masyarakat akan diterima baiksecara positifataupun negatif. Maka langkah untuk kembali memasyarakatkan tasawuf dalam perkembangan masyarakat modern ini,adalah sebuah langkah tepat untuk mengantisipasi hal-hal yang negatif, dengan mengokohkan fondasi dasar keagamaan untukmembangun peradaban dalam masyarakat Islam modern saat ini.

Abstract

The high recidivism in Indonesia based on data from the ministry of law and human rights in 2020 amounted to 18.12% or around 24 thousand people clearly demands strategic policy steps in order to reduce the level of recidivism in Indonesia, the Sumenep Class IIB State Detention Center as a technical implementing unit under the auspices of the Directorate General Corrections Department of Law and Human Rights of the Republic of Indonesia where the main task and function is to provide guidance in order to ensure positive behavior changes. The purpose of this study was to find out how the pattern of fostering legal awareness through a religious approach at the Sumenep Class II-B State Detention Center and how the legal awareness of the inmates after coaching is carried out. Through a qualitative approach, data is obtained through observation, interviews, and documentation. The findings of this study indicate that the pattern of fostering inmates at the Sumenep Class II-B State Detention Center is carried out using personality and independence development methods by using special methods such as religious approaches by increasing the legal awareness of inmates,habituating behavior such as disciplinary habits the five daily prayers and congregational prayers, routine recitation, reading and writing of the Qur'an, and istighasah are relatively high and have a very significantimpact on increasing the legal awareness of inmates in the Sumenep Class II-B State Detention Center.
