Abstract

The purpose of this study is to describe the implementation of the Lalaran Nadzhom method in learning Nahwu at Al-Barkah Al-Islamiyah Islamic Boarding School, South Tangerang City. This study is qualitative research. Data collection is done by interview, observation and documentation. Data analysis with descriptive analysis. Validity check is done by triangulation of data. The background of this research is the application of the Lalaran method has become a tradition in memorizing Nadzhom Nahwu for a long time. The use of the Lalaran method is still used and applied in Islamic boarding schools to this day. The students have the freedom to express the chants or notes in the Nadzhom verses that they memorize. This can motivate students in memorizing Nadzhom. The research formulation in this study is one, namely the application of the Lalaran Nadzhom method in learning Nahwu at Al-Barkah Al-Islamiyah Islamic Boarding School. The results showed that the implementation of the Lalaran method in memorizing Nadzhom Nahwu was carried out in several stages, there are planning, implementation and evaluation stages. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah mendeskripsikan pelaksanaan metode Lalaran Nadzhom dalam pembelajaran Nahwu di Pondok Pesantren Al-Barkah Al-Islamiyah Kota Tangerang Selatan. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kualitatif. Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan wawancara, observasi dan dokumentasi. Analisis data dengan analisis deskriptif. Pemeriksaan keabsahan dilakukan dengan triangulasi data. Latar belakang penelitian ini adalah penerapan metode Lalaran telah menjadi sebuah tradisi dalam menghafal Nadzhom ilmu Nahwu sejak lama. Penggunaan metode Lalaran masih tetap digunakan dan diterapkan di pondok pesantren sampai saat ini. Para santri memiliki kebebasan untuk mengekspresikan lantunan atau nada-nada pada bait Nadzhom yang mereka hafalkan. Hal ini dapat memotivasi santri dalam menghafal Nadzhom. Adapun rumusan penelitian dalam penelitian ini ada satu, yaitu penerapan metode Lalaran Nadzhom dalam pembelajaran ilmu Nahwu di Pondok Pesantren Al-Barkah Al-Islamiyah. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa pelaksanaan metode Lalaran dalam menghafal Nadzhom ilmu Nahwu ini sangat berpengaruh pada pembelajaran dipondok pesantren tersebut, kemudian lalaran dilaksanakan seelah sholat isya` dengan menggunakan kitab-kitab nahwu seperti imrithi, jurumiyyah, dan alfiyah ibnu malik.

Abstract

This research discusses the patriotism found in Mahmoud Darwish's poetry, entitled "To My Mother", by studying semiotics at Roland Barthes. This is done to find out the declarative and suggestive significance related to the sense of patriotism in Mahmoud Darwish's poetry to my mother and the effect of poetry on the reader. The researcher used the qualitative descriptive approach with the theory of analysis to study the semiotics of Roland Barthes, which explains the meaning of patriotism through declarative significance, suggestive significance, and superstitious significance. It clarifies the linguistic declarative signification according to the actual meaning, while the suggestive gives the meaning of the poetry in depth. The metaphorical signification is an ideological process of suggestive that serves to provide justification and disclosure of the dominant values ??that apply during a certain time period. The primary data in this scientific research is Poetry To My Mother by Mahmoud Darwish and the secondary sources support books related to scientific research. From the analysis, it is known that the declarative significance is that this poetry indicates the poet's longing for his mother, and the suggestive significance of this poem is the poet's longing for his homeland. Likewise, the influence of Mahmoud Darwish's poetry on the readers made them feel nostalgic in the words about longing for the motherland far from their lives.

Abstract

At Bustanul Ulum boarding school, Arabic language enthusiasts expressed concerns about the instruction of Arabic speech skills. To address this, they dedicated their vacation time to practicing through the Arabic Public Speaking Program at the Arabic Language Center. This study utilizes qualitative research to describe the implementation of the program. Data were collected through interviews, observation, and document analysis. The researcher employed Millis' and Haberman's theory for data analysis, involving collection, reduction, presentation, deduction, and confirmation. Findings reveal that 1) the program employs the Drill method, encompassing basic and real training, with strategies such as memorization and structural clarification. 2) Driving factors include student interest, self-confidence, linguistic fluency, knowledge of Arabic grammar, and memorization skills. Hindering factors involve time constraints and students' literary and rhetorical limitations.
