Abstract

This study aimed to determine the cost of management, day old chick cost, production, selling price to profit level, R / C ratio and Return on Investmen (ROI) ayam kampung super in Jember. The research method used was survey with 18 respondents in Jember. The data result were analyzed using multiple linear regression analysis and the following equations were Y = -1.90 – 0.35X1 – 1.22X2 + 0.23X3 + 2.26X4 + 0.11X5. This equation means every level of profit level by X1 (management cost) equal to -0.35, X2 (feed cost) equal to -1.22, X3 (seed cost) equal to 0.23, X4 (chicken production) equal to 2.26, X5 (chicken selling price) of 0.11. R / C ratio was 1.18, and ROI was 16%. The result of research showed that the most dominant factor influences to the profit level were  feed cost, management cost and production. Profitability of this research 98% have been considered while factors outside this study 2%.

Abstract

Aim from research this is identify and analysis internal factor environment – ekstermal influences business, recommendation alternative strategy in order development business and determine scale priority strategy development business farm local Chicken. Research this held start month July-September 2023 is farm local chicken in jember selected in a manner purposive sampling with see data form all aspect of the internal as well as external company. Concluded research internal factors that become the main strength possessed by the company is having their own market / market partners, while the one that makes weakness is the availability of Low DOC. External factors that become the main opportunity are the lack of competitors, while the main threat is there are similar chickens, namely super chicken. The position of Local Chicken Farming Kabupaten Jember company is in cell V, and at this position can be managed through a strategy of keep and maintaining (Hold and maintain) with a choice of market penetration and product development strategies. Priority scale strategies include strategy 3 adding brood populations and improving hatching machines

Abstract

Sheep is a promising business opportunity, aside from being a commodity of export sheep in several ASEAN countries, to date Indonesia has not been able to provide export opportunities for sheep or goats, including contributors to sheep and goats as well as gradually also as farmers. The existence of livestock is a daily capital or savings that can support the lives of farmers, requires the time needed to manage livestock that can be used in addition to farmers. This study aims to calculate all the components of costs, income, earnings obtained as well as factors that increase sheep farming in East Java. This study analyzes the use of business analysis R/c ratio, and multiple linear regression to understand the factors that influence production. The results of the analysis show a loss figure of Rp. 226,752,000. Seven factors that significantly affect the income of household sheep farmers education, experience, land occupied, status of livestock, feed costs, other costs, and VOVD costs have a positive contribution to the income of farmers
