Abstract

Education is a process transformation the attitudes and behavior a person or group to mature, form and training a person or group for the better. Education also is the process of learning and hereditary of cultural values owned a community groups.Formal education is basically a school that created the state to teaching and learning students and planting values to form each student. Most schools have different procedures in order to set of every student to the learning process so that education can work well organized.Behavior or human actions basically cannot be released from the thought process. Because of the process of think that determines the actions performed by human beings. The thought process is a excess owned by human being than the other creatures. By thinking, man assess, to analyse and consider the actions he should be obeyed.A description of conduct of students SMA Negeri 9 Manado often happens in the act of playing truant; such as schools, come late, smoking, and fighting among fellow friend. In a preventive manner can do is increase the formation of; moral, character education, and maximize the process teaching quality and it is fun for the students, good advice and exemplary through every teacher. Keywords: school, behavior, character

Abstract

Fishing households are one of the real examples of pre-prosperous families in the community. The fishermen's household has long been known to be poor, farmworker, and craftsmen. The poverty condition of fishermen is a complex problem as a result of the hellessness of fishermen against the access of natural resources available. The low education, skills, absence of capital and low accessibility cause fishermen to become increasingly marginalized Group.The fisherman's wife turned out to have an important role in solving and overcoming the natural poverty as an effort to improve the welfare of his household. The fishermen community in the village of Kima Bajo is one of the real evidence in the community about the double role of wives in fishing communities. As the wife not only exercised her role and responsibilities as a housewife but because her erratic husband's income required her wives to work in helping husbands to meet the needs of their families.For example, housewives are the ones that make crab catches, looking for crabs by using nets, and they sell them to nearby markets. In addition to utilizing the seafood there are also mothers who work as a laundry, selling cakes around, and even some who have had business food stalls, canteen business. With these works mothers find it helpful and the needs of their families can be fulfilled.Most of the wives of fishermen in the village of Kima Bajo have a side job, some have a stall business, sell cakes, canteen business, petrol sellers, washers/clothes irons, and also the maker of crab capture equipment (IGI). From this result the lack of income husbands can be covered.Keywords: fishermen, housewife, role

Abstract

Education provides the advancement of human thought, so that their level of life increases. Nowadays the development of the era has brought the impact of change in various aspects. The impact of changes that occur so quickly and easily observed is the social aspect. The social change is not just heading towards progress, but it can also lead to setbacks. It has been happening since ancient times. There are times when the changes occurred so rapidly, that it confuses the human being to deal with it. Any change occurring in the community always raises the risk of social life or social uncertainty.The function of education in social change in order to improve the ability of learners that critical analysis plays a role to instill new beliefs and values on the way people think. Education in the modern century has succeeded in creating a new generation with the power of creativity and the ability of critical thinking, attitudes are not easy to give in to the situation and replaced with attitudes that are willing to change. These ways of thinking and attitudes will escape dependence on the help of others. Thus learners besides as understanding the changes in social life can also as agents change themselves. Abstract

Rambu Solo’ is a traditional ceremony of the death of the Toraja people who aims to respect and deliver the spirits of the deceased to the spirit realm. At first the festive party was only carried out by the nobility, but now it has begun to shift, who is rich is what the party is festive. This study is entitled ”The Impact of Changes Social status towards Rambu Solo ceremony in Tondon Mamullu Village, Makale District, Tana Toraja District", with the problem formulation of how the implementation of the Rambu Solo Ceremony based on customary rules and how influence of changes Social Status to the Rambu Solo Ceremony' in Tondon Mamullu village, Makale District, Tana Toraja District. The purpose of this study is to researching more deeply the implementation of the Rambu Solo Ceremony based on customary rules and how influence of changes Social Status to the Rambu Solo Ceremony' in Tondon Mamullu village, Makale District, Tana Toraja District. Based on the research results obtained that the implementation of the Rambu Solo Ceremony 'the Toraja community not working run as it should and has experienced changes or shifted in the implementation. The implementation of the Rambu Solo’ ceremonythe Toraja public, specifically the community of Tondon Mamullu Village has been background by several things, namely Economic Status, Education, Employment, Self-Esteem / Prestige, and Prestige / Pride. Rambu Solo’ which is implemented by the Toraja people at this time is not too traditional and has an impact on the traditional values of Rambu Solo' which has actually started to disappear and the values that are applied today are contemporary.
