Abstract

The purposes of this study were to analyse the level of acceptance by the panelists and to analyze the business feasibility of sweet bread made from wheat and modified cassava flour (mocaf). the research was conducted experimentally by making sweet bread from 70% wheat and 30%mocaf and then tested the panelists acceptance and business analysis. Method was use accepted test by 50 panelists tested the sweet bread and then calculates by Cochran’s Q test. Accepted test by 50 panelists whose 43 panelists accepted the experience sweet bread and 49 panelists accepted the commercial sweet bread. Cochran’s Q test shows that F table is lower than F calculating, therefore sweet bread from wheat and mocaf was different with commercial sweet bread. Total cost of a day processing production from 5 kg powders were Rp. 245.985,21 with 307 sweet breads and sell with price is Rp. 1.000,00 answered is Rp. 307.000,00 revenue. Benefit that got is Rp. 61.014,79 with efficience of business is 1,25. Total product of break even point were 246 sweet breads with minimal priced is Rp. 801,25. Total product and price of break even point which important point to make this business was not failed. Conclusion of this experience is sweet bread could be accepted by panelist and ready to sell.   Keywords: business analysis, mocaf,panelists acceptance, sweet bread, wheat

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to analyze the influences of micro credits financial institution (coperation and PT. Persi)  to the development of small industry at Mempura Sub District, Siak Regency, Riau Province. The samples has conducted  by using saturated sampling technique, amount of of samples are 31 small industries. The result of research obtained that small industries which earned credit is not better developed compared to small industries which not earned credit. It's showed by there’s no different of assets, sales turnover, number of employees, between small industries, except of  working hours and the scope of the marketing of industries that have earned credit is greater than the industries does not get the credit. It is reinforced by the result of analysis of the logistics that showed there was no difference of assets, sales turnover, number of employees, number of hours worked in marketing coverage among small industries that earned credit and small industries that not earned credit. Abstract

The objectives of this research were to 1). Know the function, channel and marketing agencies onion. 2). Analyze costs, margins,  profibality, efficiency and the share of the farmer. 3). Knowing the marketing problems of onion at Sungai Geringging Kampar Kiri districk in Kampar regency. This study usues survey, sampling was done by purposive sampling of 30 samples onion farmers at Sungai Geringging Kampar Kiri districk in Kampar regency. Taking sample of trader used snowball sampling by following marketing channel. The outcome of this research indicated the function-function of onion marketing at Sungai Geringging such as buy function, sale function, clean function, storage function, transportation function, standardization function, risk tackling function, market information function, financial capital function.There are 2 marketing channel 1). Farmer–trader of collector–trade of retailer–consumen. 2). Farmer–trader of collector–bigtrader–trader of retailer–consumen. The total cost of marketing collector is Rp 416,67/kg, retailers channel I is Rp 153,02/kg. Marketing costs of bigtrader channel II is Rp 275/kg and retailers channel II is Rp 176,03/kg. Marketing margins of channel I is Rp 3.166,67/kg and channel II is Rp 4.100/kg. Total profit of channel I is Rp 2.596,98/kg and channel II is Rp 3.232,30/kg. The efficiency of channel I is 2,46% and channel II is 3,60%. Problems faced by farmer is the weather and the price, while the problems faced by traders is the price. Abstract

Sustainable food home area (KRPL) is goverment program to increasing of consume of society food with basis of farmer addition income. The porpose of this research is to analysis farming income of KRPL in Pekanbaru city and to analysis farming revenue contribution of KRPL yard to ward house hould income in Pekanbaru city. The metodh used to taking of the sample is proportional random sampling. Total of sample in this research area 17 sample of KRPL. The data analysis used in this research area farming analysis and farming revenue contribution analysis toward income house hould. Toal revenue of KRPL farming yard is Rp.2.568.000 per plant seasen or Rp.151.059 per farmer. Contribution average has given KRPL program to member of KRPL income in Pekanbaru city 2% or Rp.50.773 per farmer.   Keywords: KRPL Program, Household Income, Pekanbaru City.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to analyze the development of Indonesia's coffee exports and analyze the position of Indonesian coffee in the world market. The data used in this study was a secondary data export raw coffee Indonesia, Brazil, Vietnam and Colombia during the period 2001-2012. The data was taken from the land area, production, price, value and volume of exports of coffee in the world market. Supply and demand of coffee in the world market as long 2001-2012, overall was increase every years. Coffee offer influenced by land area, production, export value, export volume and the price of coffee by coffee producing countries in the world like Brazil, Vietnam, Colombia and Indonesia. The demand of coffee in the world during 2001-2012 has increase by sign of consumption and the amount of imports coffee in the world more increasing. The FOB price for Brazil, Vietnam and Indonesia has increase significantly during 12 years, accept Colombia. However, the Indonesian coffee still can be the price leader like Brazil, that affect the price of coffee in the world.   Keywords: coffee, position, production, export value, export volume.

Abstract

Pasar Buah Sudirman is a well-known fruit-store in Pekanbaru. However, to gain the loyalty of shoppers, Pasar Buah Sudirman must appeal to consumers’ social motives and experiential needs, not simply provide access to desired goods. In response to changing consumer needs, the store has grown larger and metamorphed into a convenience of one-stop shopping, to include service outlets and providing daily needs goods, not only fruits, at the store. Therefore, research was aimed to study: (1) the factors that configuring customer satisfaction in Pasar Buah Sudirman, (2) what factors that configuring customer’s loyalty of Pasar Buah  Sudirman.  This research was held in two months between May – July 2014. This research was performed by applying convenience random sampling method. The sample size was 150 respondents that shopped more than twice to the targeting store. Data were analyzed by principle component analysis (PCA). The results show from 24 attributes used in the analysis of components of PCA with factor analysis are adequate for further analysis as the 'key factors' to represent the characteristic profile of Pasar Buah Sudirman’s costumers. The 8 variables, then, can be classified as: Product Quality, Reliability, Responsiveness, Assurance, Tangible, Empathy, Costumers' satisfaction, and Costumers' Loyalty, consistent with previous researches. Other findings from this research were:  (1) the respondents were satisfied with the decision to shop and never complain with product. (2) the factors that configuring costumer’s loyalty were respondents determination to shop in Pasar Buah Sudirman, retention, repetition and referral to others. Abstract

The growth of an area was determined by GDP potency in that area. So the area government can made the priority of growth plan to leading sector and not leading sector. This research was aims to analyze GDP sector growth profile, basic sector, and competitiveness potency sector. The data used GDP year 2008-2009 with   oil and gas and non oil and gas. The tool analysis used  Location Quotient (LQ) analysis and for analysis growth and competitiveness potency sector used Shift Share analysis. GDP growth profile without oil and gas, the sector included quadrant 1 (fast growth) that was processing industry sector, electricity and clean water sector, transportation and communication sector, and services sector. GDP growth profile without oil and gas, sector who included quadrant 1 (fast growth) that was transportation and communication sector, and services sector. LQ indeks with oil and gas obtained basic sector that was electricity and clean water sector, hotel and restaurant trade, rent money and company servise sector, and services sector. Shift Share analysis showed GDP with oil and gas that was prosessing industry sector, electricity and clean water sector, transportation and communication sector, and services sector. Shift share without oil and gas that was carriage and communication sector and services sector.   Keyword: base sector, leading sector, shift share
