Abstract

ABSTRACT This study aims to: (1) Understand the result of learning between students experiment class and control class. (2) Understand the result of learning experiment class better than control class.(3) Understand the attitude of students in experiment class better than control class. Population in this study is all of students class VII in Lower Secondary School 41 Semarang Department. Sampling technique in this study is purposive sampling. This study using quantitative approach with experiment method. Study design which using in this study is Control Group Pretest Posttest Design. The result of the study explain that the results of learning students who given learning with CIRC model that help the story illustrated media better than the student who given learning without using CIRC model hat help the story illustrated media. It is can be seen from the average value in experiment class before and after give treatment obtained 56 into 76. The average value in control class before and after give the treatment obtained 54 into 62. That is exist the differences significant between result learning experiment class with control class as evidenced with differences test between two average obtained t-hitung of 7,802 and t-tabel of 1,994. The student attitude in experiment class better than control class. The average of attitude aspect in experiment class 78% biggest than control class 68%. Keywords: effectiveness, CIRC model with the story illustrated media, learning sum up the story puppet.
