Abstract

This study aims to find out how much farming productivity is in lowland paddy fields with cash and yarnen systems, the difference in productivity between farmers who buy production facilities with cash and yarnen systems and to find out how much income the farmers who buy production inputs with cash and yarnen systems earn. Simple random sampling methode is used in this study. The results of this study indicate that the productivity level of lowland paddy rice farming with the yarnen system is higher then cash system, where the average productivity of the yarnen system is 5,106 Kg/ha while the cash system is 4,583 Kg/ha. There is a significant difference between them. The average income of farmers with a cash system is Rp. 16,755,810 while the average income of farmers with the yarnen system is Rp. 13,130,817.

Abstract

Rice Farming Analysis (Oryza Sativa L.) in Beruge Village, Babat Toman District, Musi Banyuasin Regency, South Sumatra Province. This research aims to determine the amount of income and level of profit from rice farming in Beruge Village, Babat Toman District, Musi Banyuasin Regency. The sampling method used was simple random sampling. The results of the study show that the total cost incurred to carry out wetland rice farming in one planting season period is IDR 4,854,763. Revenue is influenced by the selling price of rice production, with a total revenue of IDR 12,433,625. The total income obtained from rice farming is IDR 7,991,636. The R/C ratio value for rice farming at the research location is 2.74, meaning that for every IDR 1 of cost incurred, a revenue of IDR 2.74 is obtained. This indicates that the R/C ratio is more than one, so that wetland rice farming in Beruge Village is profitable and worth cultivating. In addition, the analysis results also show that rice farming in Beruge Village has good prospects for further development. This is supported by the available land potential, suitable climatic conditions, and the local government's commitment to encouraging increased rice production in the region. Thus, rice farming in Beruge Village can become one of the main sources of income for the local community and contribute to food security in Musi Banyuasin Regency

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui seberapa besar pendapatan petani karet rakyat di Desa Lalang Sembawa Kecamatan Banyuasin Sumatera Selatan dan untuk mengetahui usahatani karet rakyat menguntungkan atau tidak. Penelitian ini telah dilaksanakan di Desa Lalang Sembawa Kabupaten Banyuasin Sumatera Selatan pada bulan Juni 2019. Metode pengambilan sampel adalah metode slovin dengan nilai kritis 10%, sehingga dari populasi 67 petani terdapat 40 petani sampel. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian pendapatan usahatani pembibitan karet di Desa Lalang Sembawa, maka kesimpulan yang dapat diperoleh adalah: (1) Rata-rata pendapatan usahatani pembibitan karet di Desa Lalang Sembawa sebesar Rp.61.945.697,00/masa produksi, (2) R/C usahatani pembibitan karet di Desa Lalang Sembawa memiliki nilai 5,90 atau lebih dari satu, hal ini menunjukkan bahwa usahatani pembibitan karet di Desa Lalang Sembawa menguntungkan dan layak untuk diusahakan.
