Abstract

Saat ini Teknologi berkembang pesat di berbagai aspek kehidupan mulai dari personal hingga instansi negeri maupun swasta. SMK Negeri 5 Surabaya merupakan salah satu instansi Pendidikan yang telah menggunakan teknologi informasi dalam berbagai aspek kegiatan dan ingin mengembangkan proses penilaian akhir semester menjadi efisien. Dalam pelaksanaan yang sebelumnya menggunakan metode konvensional yang memerlukan banyak waktu, biaya dan tenaga. Dalam penelitian ini akan menggeser sistem dari ujian konvensional ke ujian online. Untuk menerapkan ujian online membutuhkan manajemen jaringan dimulai dari konfigurasi jaringan, server, dan moodle. Protokol pada jaringan ini menggunakan port forwarding. Perancangan server ujian yang akan dibangun menggunakan web server NGINX, dengan bahasa pemprograman PHP dan menggunakan basis data MariaDB serta menggunakan Moodle untuk pelaksanaan ujian online. Hasil dari pelaksanaan ujian online dengan melakukan monitoring aktivitas ujian berupa banyaknya siswa melaksanakan ujian dan log yang diambil dari server menggunakan Webalizer. Diharapakan dengan adanya ujian online berbasis moodle dapat membantu SMK Negeri 5 Surabaya dalam melaksanakan penilaian akhir semester dengan efektif dan efisien.

Abstract

In the era of digital transformation, data has become something valuable but vulnerable to leaks. According to Lanskap Keamanan SIber Indonesia 2022, there were 311 data leakage incidents that occurred in Indonesia. Many tools can be used to evaluate information security, one of which is the Information Security Index (ISI). KAMI is a tool to assess the level of information security readiness of an organization based on the SNI ISO / IEC 27001 standard. PT Kano Teknologi Utama is a company that uses information technology in its daily operations. Therefore, researchers conducted an information technology security evaluation to determine the condition of information security and can evaluate it so that security becomes better. The evaluation is carried out by conducting observations and interviews at the company. The data that has been obtained will then be assessed according to OUR Index. Based on the results of the Our Index assessment, the electronic system category score obtained is 19 and is included in the high category. While the final evaluation result is "Good Enough" with a final score of 674 and the level of completeness of implementation based on the ISO 27001 standard is at levels II to IV.

Abstract

Pengenalan Citra wajah merupakan salah satu topik penelitian yang paling banyak dilakukan dalam satu dekade terakhir ini, salah satu yang menarik pada penelitian ini adalah citra wajah memiliki keunikan khusus dan menjadi salah satu kunci utama dalam kaitannya dengan keamanan. Penelitian ini mencoba mengenalkan kombinasi beberapa metode untuk mendapatkan tingkat akurasi dan presisi tinggi. Data citra wajah frontal yang digunakan mengambil dari sumber data terbuka milik University of York (UoY) yang dapat diperoleh melalui situs mereka. Data berupa berkas BMP ini perlu dikonversi menjadi JPG pada tahap awal. Metode penelitian ini menggunakan inception v3 dari deep learning untuk memperoleh 2048 fitur citra wajah dari setiap berkas citra wajah frontal. Setiap fitur citra wajah yang dihasilkan kemudian dilakukan pelabelan menggunakan metode jarak dan kesamaan cosinus dan terakhir dilakukan pendeteksian citra wajah frontal tersebut dengan melakukan penggolongan melalui hierarki klaster. Dari hasil percobaan pada penelitian ini yang melibatkan 400 citra wajah dengan rincian 40 orang dan setiap orang memiliki 10 pose citra wajah frontal, maka diperoleh hasil akurasi dan presisi diatas 99%.

Abstract

A website-based expert system for diagnosing skin diseases using the Forward Chaining method and the Laravel Framework at the Tanggulangin Health Center. The main focus of research is to improve accessibility, accuracy of diagnosis, and public awareness of skin health. Quantitative approaches and exploratory design are applied through literature studies, interviews, surveys, system design, trials, evaluations, and improvements. The system development process involves collecting data from observations, interviews, and medical data to devise relational rules, tables of disease types, symptoms, and decision trees. The use of the Laravel Framework is the main foundation of system design, including user interface (UI) design, database structure, Forward Chaining inference logic, and diagnostic needs. System trials are conducted with test scenarios to evaluate the system's ability to diagnose various skin disease conditions. Data analysis is carried out quantitatively, especially on test results, to assess system reliability. The results of this study provide an empirical basis for recommendations for further development. Hopefully, this system can make a positive contribution in the process of diagnosing skin diseases at the Tanggulangin Health Center and increase overall public skin health awareness. This system is able to provide a diagnosis of skin diseases based on the symptoms inputted by the user. The evaluation carried out provides a positive picture regarding the effectiveness and satisfaction of users.

Abstract

Content Delivery Networks (CDN) improve website performance by distributing content closer to users. This paper explores the implementation of a self-hosted CDN using reverse proxy and caching technologies on a Linux-based infrastructure. Performance metrics such as response time, bandwidth usage, and server load are analyzed in two scenarios: with and without CDN. Our findings show a 50% reduction in response time and a 76% decrease in bandwidth consumption at the main server. The study highlights the benefits of localized caching and load balancing while discussing implementation challenges. This research provides a practical framework for organizations seeking cost-effective CDN solutions using open-source tools like Nginx and Varnish.

Abstract

This research explores how to make content delivery faster using a Content Delivery Network (CDN) on Linux, focusing on optimizing DNS and load balancing with tools like BIND and HAProxy. It’s all about ensuring users get content quickly, no matter where they are. Set up three edge servers running HAProxy for load balancing and one BIND server for DNS, using a feature called geodns to direct users to the nearest server. We simulated users from different locations to mimic real-world use. Data was collected using tools like tcpdump for network traffic, Apache Bench for HTTP performance, and system monitoring tools to track CPU and memory usage. We measured latency (time to first byte), throughput (data speed), CPU usage, and error rates. Baseline: No optimizations, with latency at 244.2 ms, throughput at 100 MB/s, CPU usage at 70% with 15% variation, and 5% error rate. Geodns Only: Latency dropped to 111.2 ms, keeping throughput at 100 MB/s. Load Balancing Only: Throughput rose to 120 MB/s, CPU usage balanced to 60% with 5% variation, and error rate fell to 3%. Combined: Best results with latency at 107.2 ms, throughput at 120 MB/s, and error rate at 2%. An interesting detail is how geodns not only lowers latency but also helps balance server loads, which is especially useful in places like Indonesia with uneven user distribution. Combining both optimizations significantly boosts CDN performance, making it a great approach for content providers. It’s clear this can improve user experience, especially in areas with varied network setups.
