Abstract

Work engagement As a behavior that can improve productivity and performance in companies, it needs to be studied amidst socioeconomic changes and technological developments that threaten employee job security. This study aims to examine the relationship between job insecurity and work engagement. Data collection to measure work engagement usedUtrecht Work Engagement Scale(UWES),To measure job insecurity, the Job Insecurity Scale (JIS) was used. A random sampling technique was used to select 150 subjects working in the retail sector. Data analysis using Spearman's Rank correlation showed a p-value of <0.05 and r-value of -0.162, indicating a relationship between job insecurity and work engagement among retail employees at PT. X.

Abstract

Penelitian ini mengkaji fenomena Internet Gaming Disorder (IGD), sebuah kondisi adiktif yang semakin diakui dan menjadi perhatian global. IGD ditandai oleh pola penggunaan internet gaming yang kompulsif dan berlebihan, mengakibatkan gangguan signifikan pada fungsi kehidupan sehari-hari individu, baik di ranah personal, sosial, akademik, maupun pekerjaan. Penelitian dilakukan untuk melihat apakah terdapat pengaruh antara gaming-contingent of self-worth dan parental attachment terhadap kecenderungan internet gaming disorder pada remaja di komunitas game online. Variabel gaming-contingent of self-worth diukur dengan skala gaming-contingent of self-worth  oleh Beard & Wickham (2016), variabel parental attachment diukur dengan skala Inventory of Parents and Peer Attachment (IPPA) oleh Armsden & Greenberg (1987), dan internet gaming disorder diukur dengan skala Internet Gaming Disorder Scale-Short Form (IGDS9-SF) yang dikembangkan oleh Pontes & Griffiths (2015). Penelitian ini melibatkan 155 populasi remaja dengan menggunakan teknik quota sampling. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode analisis regresi berganda. Hasil penelitian menunjukan terdapat pengaruh yang signifikan antara gaming-contingent of self-worth dan parental attachment terhadap kecenderungan internet gaming disorder dengan arah positif pada variabel gaming-contingent of self-worth dan arah negatif terhadap parental attachment.
