Abstract

Ikan ekor pedang (Xiphophorus hellerii) merupakan jenis ikan asing yang mendiami catur danau Bali (Danau Tamblingan, Danau Buyan, Danau Bratan dan Danau Batur). Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengungkapkan nisbah kelamin, pola pertumbuhan dan kondisi ikan ekor pedang di catur danau Bali. Nisbah kelamin ikan ekor pedang di keempat danau berada dalam keadaan tidak seimbang. Proporsi ikan jantan di Danau Tamblingan, Danau Beratan dan Danau Batur lebih banyak daripada ikan betina dan kondisi sebaliknya ditemukan di Danau Buyan. Pola pertumbuhan ikan jantan di catur danau Bali adalah alometrik negatif dan ikan betina menunjukkan pola pertumbuhan alometrik negatif di Danau Tamblingan dan Danau Beratan dan pola pertumbuhan isometrik di Danau Buyan dan Danau Batur. Spesies ikan ini berada dalam kondisi baik di catur danau Bali dengan nilai faktor kondisi berkisar antara 0,47–1,54 dengan rerata 0,92 untuk ikan jantan dan 0,43–2,94 dengan rerata 1,12 untuk ikan betina.

Abstract

Tuna mata besar (Thunnus obesus) merupakan salah satu komoditi ekspor ikan tuna yang utama di Indonesia. Permintaan yang tinggi dapat mengakibatkan tekanan penangkapan meningkat dan dapat berdampak pada kelimpahan/ketersediaan stok sumber dayanya. Struktur ukuran ikan yang tertangkap, hasil tangkapan per upaya dan musim penangkapan merupakan beberapa informasi penting untuk mendukung pengelolaan perikanan. Tulisan ini membahas mengenai struktur ukuran ikan, hasil tangkapan per upaya dan periode musim penangkapan ikan tuna mata besar di Samudra Hindia bagian timur. Data yang dianalisis merupakan hasil tangkapan dan jumlah trip penangkapan per bulan dengan alat tangkap rawai tuna yang berbasis di Pelabuhan Perikanan Samudra (PPS) Bungus. Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan mencatat panjang (cm) dan bobot (Kg) tuna mata besar serta jumlah kapal yang mendaratkan hasil tangkapannya di PPS Bungus pada periode Maret 2012 sampai dengan Desember 2016. Hasil pengamatan menunjukan bahwa kisaran panjang ikan yang tertangkap pada periode penelitian antara 80 - 195 cmFL. Hasil tangkapan per upaya untuk tuna mata besar tertinggi terjadi pada tahun 2012 yaitu sebesar 0,402 ton/trip dan mengalami penurunan dari tahun 2012 sampai 2016 dan mencapai nilai terendah pada tahun 2014 yaitu sebesar 0,023 ton/trip. Berdasarkan indeks musim penangkapan, bulan Maret, April, Mei dan Oktober merupakan musim penangkapan ikan.Bigeye tuna (Thunnus obesus) is one of the main export tuna commodities in Indonesia. The high demand of this product could lead the increase of fishing pressure that impact on the resource stock availability.. Size structure, catch per unit efforts and fishing season are some important information to support fisheries managemen. This paper would describe the information about catch size, catch per unit efforts and the fishing season bigeye tuna the Eastern Indian Ocean. Data that analyzed were monthly catch and effort in tuna longline fishery in Ocean Fishing Port of Bungus. The information that collected are length (cm) and weight (kg) of bigeye tuna and the number of fishing vessels that landing in Ocean Fishing Port of Bungus Padang, West Sumatra from March 2012 to December 2016. The results showed that the range of collected fish from 80-195 cmFL. The highest catch per unit effort (CPUE ) of bigeye tuna occured in 2012 with 0,402 ton/trip then decreased from 2012 to 2016 and reached the lowest point in 2014 with 0,023 ton/trip. The fishing season occurred in March, April, May and October based on the index of the capture season.

Abstract

Tuna sirip kuning (Thunnus albacares) merupakan hasil tangkapan terbanyak dibandingkan dengan jenis tuna lainnya di Indonesia. Ketersediaan stok tuna sirip kuning di Samudra Hindia, pada saat ini, diperkirakan dalam keadaan lebih tangkap. Oleh karena itu, pengelolaan secara tepat dan bertanggungjawab penting dilakukan untuk melindungi spesies tuna, salah satu caranya dengan mengkaji alat tangkap yang digunakan. Tulisan ini bertujuan untuk mengungkapkan produktivitas dan hasil tangkapan armada tonda, serta struktur ukuran dan hubungan panjang bobot ikan tuna sirip kuning yang di daratkan di selatan Jawa. Komposisi tangkapan tertinggi dari armada tonda diseluruh pendaratan ikan tuna di selatan Jawa terdiri atas tuna sirip kuning dan cakalang. Analisis CPUE menunjukkan hasil yang fluktuatif di setiap lokasi pendaratan tuna sirip kuning di Selatan Jawa. Tuna sirip kuning yang tertangkap di selatan Jawa dengan armada tonda sebagian besar adalah ikan yang belum layak tangkap karena berukuran kurang dari 100 cmFL. Struktur ukuran panjang tuna sirip kuning yang tertangkap semakin ke Timur semakin panjang ukurannya. Pola pertumbuhan tuna sirip kuning yang tertangkap di Binuangeun memiliki pola isometrik, PPN Palabuhanratu bersifat allometrik Positif, PPP Sadeng, P2SKP Pacitan, PPN Prigi dan P2SKP Sendang Biru bersifat allometrik negatif. Yellowfin tuna (Thunnus albacares) is the largest catch compared to other tuna species in Indonesia. The availability of yellowfin tuna stock in the Indian Ocean, at present, is estimated to be in overfished condition. Therefore, proper and responsible management is important to protect the species. One of the ways is by studying the used fishing gear. This paper aims at determining vessel’s productivity, as well as composition, size structure and length-weight relationship of yellowfin tuna catches from troll line fleet in the Indian Ocean part of south Java. The highest catch of tuna in all of the troll line landing places was yellowfin tuna, following by skipjack tuna. CPUE analysis showed fluctuating results at each landing site. Yellowfin tuna sizes caught by troll line fleet were mostly less than 100 cmFL and categorized as should not be properly caught. Geographically, getting to the east the average size of the catches tend to be larger. The growth pattern of yellowfin tuna catches landed in Binuangeun was isometric; Palabuhanratu was positive allometric; while those landed in Sadeng, Pacitan, Prigi and Sendang Biru were negative allometric.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji parameter populasi ikan cakalang (Katsuwonus pelamis) yang tertangkap pukat cincin di WPP-572 Samudra Hindia Barat Sumatera dan WPP-573 Selatan Jawa. Hasil penelitian ini diharapkan dapat digunakan sebagai masukan dalam penentuan pengelolaan perikanan sehingga stok ikan cakalang dapat dimanfaatkan secara berkelanjutan. Ikan contoh dikumpulkan melalui program enumerasi tahun 2016 (Januari-Desember). Sampling acak dilaksanakan di empat pelabuhan, yaitu PPS Lampulo (Aceh), PPN Sibolga (Sumatra Utara), PPP Tamperan (Pacitan) dan IPP Pondokdadap (Malang). Jumlah ikan contoh diperoleh sebanyak 14.894 ekor. Serial data fekuensi panjang bulanan diolah menggunakan program FiSAT II untuk menduga parameter pertumbuhan, mortalitas dan tingkat eksploitasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan ikan cakalang yang tertangkap di WPP-572 memiliki panjang asimtotik (L)73,5 cmFL, K sebesar 0.22/tahun dan to sebesar -0,59 tahun. Parameter populasi di WPP-573 berturut-turut L”=67,20 cmFL, K=0,27/tahun, dan to=-0,50 tahun. Nilai mortalitas alami (M) ikan cakalang di WPP 572 sebesar 0,49/tahun, mortalitas total (Z) 0,70/tahun, dan kematian akibat penangkapan (F) adalah 0,21/tahun. Ikan cakalang yang tertangkap di WPP 573 menunjukkan nilai (E) sebesar 0,59/tahun, nilai Z 1,02/tahun, dan nilai F sebesar 0,43/tahun. Dugaan tingkat eksploitasi ikan cakalang di WPP 572 dan 573 masing-masing 0,3/tahun dan 0,42/tahun atau belum berada pada tahap optimal.This study aimed to assess the population parameters of skipjack tuna (Katsuwonus pelamis) that caught by purse seine in the Indonesian FMA (Fisheries Management Area) 572 Indian Ocean West Sumatera and FMA 573 South Java. The outcomes of this research can hopefully be used as inputs for fisheries management, in order the stock of skipjack tuna can be utilized sustainably. Fish sample were collected through the program enumeration of Research Institute for Tuna Fisheries (RITF) during the year 2016 (Januari-Desember). Using random sampling method at four fishing ports, namely PPS Lampulo (Aceh), PPN Sibolga (North Sumatra), PPP Tamperan (Pacitan), and IPP Pondokdadap (Malang). The total number of fish samples was 14.894 fish. Monthly length frequency data processed using FiSAT II program to estimate the growth parameters, mortality, and exploitation. The analysis results showed that skipjack tuna caught in FMA 572 has asymtotic length value (L) at 73.5 cmFL, K value 0.22/year, and to at -0.59 year; while in FMA 573 population parameters values respectively 67.20 cmFL, 0.27/year, and -0.50 year. The value of natural mortality (M) skipjack in FMA 572 is 0.49/year, total mortality (Z) 0.70/year, and fishing mortality (F) 0.21/year. Skipjack tuna that caught in FMA 573 showed value of M 0.59/year, Z value 1.02/year, and F value 0.43/year. The estimated values of exploitation levels of skipjack in FMA 572 and 573 were 0.3/year and 0.42/year respectively.

The information about this species in Tamblingan Lake is rare which requires fulfilment in information gaps for the management of bonylip barb. The aims of this research were to find out the length-length relationship, length-weight relationship, length at first maturity, sex ratio, gonadal maturity stage, gonadosomatic index (GSI), fecundity, as well as spawning period and location in Tamblingan Lake. The fish sample was captured with experimental gillnet that was set in the afternoon and hauled in the next morning. Length and weight of every sample were taken. All samples were dissected to observe the sex and gonad. Fork length was the type of length with higher accuracy to estimate the body weight than the other length character. Growth pattern of this species was isometric. Lm50 of bonylip barb in Tamblingan Lake was 116 mmTL. Sex ratio of bonylip barb was imbalanced (1.00:0.82). Gonad maturity stage I-V was found during the research with GSI between 0.16-15.50 for male fish and 0.43-32.82 for female fish. The highest GSI was found in March, 15.50 for male fish and 32.73 for female fish. Mature fish were discovered in all stations in every month of sampling. The fecundity of bonylip barb ranged between 2,792-279,326 eggs. The length-length and the length-weight showed a strong relationship. The fish was isometric. Based on the growth pattern and the reproductive aspects, the population of bonylip barb in Tamblingan Lake was in good condition.

Abstract

Ikan nyalian buluh (Rasbora argyrotaenia) merupakan spesies ikan yang menyebar di catur danu Bali. Penelitian karakter biologi spesies ikan ini di catur danu Bali masih terbatas. Penelitian ini dilakukan dari Agustus 2017 sampai Juli 2018 dengan tujuan untuk memperoleh hubungan karakter panjang, hubungan panjang-bobot dan dugaan kondisi ikan nyalian buluh di catur danu Bali. Sampling dilakukan dengan metode purposive sampling yang dilakukan secara bergantian setiap bulannya. Hasil menunjukkan hubungan karakter panjang ikan nyalian buluh di catur danu Bali memiliki korelasi kuat untuk tiap tipe pengukuran (R>0,96). Persamaan hubungan panjang-panjang ikan nyalian buluh di Danu Tamblingan, PC = 1,1217PB - 0,9947; PT = 1,1759PB + 3,657; PT = 1,0525PC + 4,5435, di Danu Buyan, PC = 1,091PB + 1,7375; PT = 1,1785PB + 3,029; PT = 1,0742PC + 1,5009, di Danu Beratan, PC = 1,091PB + 2,7818; PT = 1,178PB + 4,8692; PT = 1,0751PC + 2,2718 dan di Danu Batur, PC = 1,105PB + 1,7529; PT = 1,2051PB + 3,3616; PT = 1,0863PC + 1,8183. Ukuran panjang baku (PB) menjadi penduga bobot paling akurat ikan nyalian buluh di catur danu Bali. Pola pertumbuhan panjang-bobot bersifat alometrik positif dan isometrik, serta masih berada dalam kondisi baik dengan nilai faktor kondisi relatif antara 0,62-1,40.Silver rasbora (Rasbora argyrotaenia) is a fish species that inhabits in four lakes in Bali. Research related to biological character for this species is limited in four lakes in Bali. This research was conducted from August 2017 to July 2018 withthe aims of this research was to revealcharacteristic of length, length-weight relationship and condition of silver rasbora in four lakes in Bali. Sampling method is purposive sampling which did alternately every month. The result shown, length-length relationship of silver rasbora in four lakes in Bali has strong correlation (R>0.96) for each measurement method. The equation of length-length relationship silver rasbora in Tamblingan Lake, FL = 1.1217SL - 0.9947; TL = 1.1759SL + 3.657; TL = 1.0525FL + 4.5435, in Buyan Lake, FL = 1.091SL + 1.7375; TL = 1.1785SL + 3.029; TL = 1.0742FL + 1.5009, in Beratan Lake, FL = 1.091SL + 2.7818; TL = 1.178SL + 4.8692; TL = 1.0751FL + 2.2718 andin Batur Lake, FL = 1.105SL + 1.7529; TL = 1.2051SL + 3.3616; TL = 1.0863FL + 1.8183.The standard length (SL) is the most accurate measure in estimating the weight for silver rasbora in four lakes in Bali. The growth patterns of silver rasbora are positive allometric and isometric, andstill in good condition with a relative condition factor value ranging between 0.62-1.40.
