Abstract

This study focuses on the development of speaking tests through project-based learning in procedure text material. The study aims to assess students' speaking abilities by integrating project-based learning into the teaching and learning process. The research follows a research and development (R&D) method, adapting the research cycle proposed by Borg & Gall (1981) and simplifying it into eight stages: (1) Research and Information Gathering (2) Development of the Initial Product (3) Expert Validation (4) Revision (5) Product Trial (6) Revision (7) Field Trial (8) Final Product. The data were collected through a questionnaire. Based on preliminary research and information collection results, the students have difficulty speaking, mainly due to a lack of enthusiasm and the use of learning strategies. Based on the expert’s comments, the developed speaking strategy was generally good and eligible to be used as a strategy for developing the speaking skills of students. So, the use of project-based learning through procedure text that emphasizes practical application and real-life contexts is well suited to optimize language learning outcomes. Overall, the developed strategy proves effective in enhancing students' speaking abilities and creating a conducive learning environment. The study justifies the importance of developing speaking tests through project-based learning due to the significance of speaking skills in language acquisition and the potential of project-based learning to create an engaging and effective learning environment.

Abstract

The purpose of study is to investigate the impact and effectiveness of implementing Project Based Learning (PjBL) towards learning outcomes in English Subject. The PjBL method has become a major focus in education due to its potential to increase student’s involvement and practical in learning. The method of this research used a Systematic Literature Review. The selection of the inclusion and exclusion criteria has been determined. It were selected 28 included studies obtained from three databases, Connectedpapers.com, ERIC, Perplexity.ai. This study analyzes the characteristics studies, impact and effectiveness of Project Based Learning (PjBL) on learning outcomes in English language subjects. Based on the results of this study, it is emphasized that PjBL has positive and significant implications. It is shown that PjBL can have a beneficial impact on students' ability to learn and use English. Through contextualized and practical projects, students don not only practice but they are also actively involved in learning process. the impact of their involvement, it does not only improves specific language skills, but also strengthens their social skills, collaboration skills and motivation to learn. Therefore, it can be concluded that learning focused on the application of PjBL in the context of English can support learning outcomes optimally.

Abstract

This research presents a comprehensive understanding of how Vocational High School students are engaged and explores the various factors that affect student engagement in the implementation of the Merdeka Curriculum. It aims to examine the implementation of Merdeka Curriculum on student engagement at Vocational High School in optimizing student abilities through practical learning. In collecting and analyzing data, this research used Systematic Literature Review (SLR) to identify relevant literature through databases and was determined based on predetermined criteria. The results showed that student engagement is determined by teachers' understanding of the Merdeka Curriculums’ concept which affects the learning strategies used to design the learning process. In addition, the flexibility and freedom in the concept of implementing a Merdeka Curriculum given to teachers is another factor to support student participation during the learning process. Therefore, it is concluded that student engagement is determined by how the teacher is able to implement the independent curriculum properly. This research suggested that optimizing student engagement can be done through the design of learning process adjusted to the needs and interests of students based on their vocations.

Abstract

Minat baca anak di Indonesia masih tergolong rendah apalagi anak seusia tingkat dasar mengingat usianya yang masih termausk kategori usia yang masih suka-sukanya untuk  bermain, namun hak ini bukan menjadi hambatan untuk dapat meningkatkan minat baca anak khususnya di sekolah tingkat dasar banyak metode dan cara supaya dapat menarik minat baca anak khususnya di sekolah salah satu caranya yaitu denga terbentuknya metode pembelajaran intraktif karena dengan adanya metode pembelajaran ini dapat menarik minat anak untuk membaca karena bukan hanya sekedar membaca tetapi mereka juga bisa menunjukkan teks yang dipelajari sehingga dapat menarik minat baca anak, metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini yaitu kualitatif dengan jenis diskripstif karena peneliti ini ingin mengetahui secara mendalam terhadap fenomina yang terjadi dilapangan dengan menggunakan metode pengambilan data yaitu wawancara, observasi dan dokumentasi. Adapun hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwasanya dengan adanya metode pembelajaran intraktfi maka 70% siswa aktif diperpustakaan dengan membaca yang pada awalnya siswa saat jam istirahat lebih suka bermain dan ke kantin maka dengan adanya metode pembelajaran intraktif ini pada saat waktu istirahat siswa lebih memilih keperpustakaan untuk membaca dan melihat gambar yang dipelajari oleh tema mata pelajarannya. Dalam hal ini berrti dengan adanya metode pembelajaran intraktif ini dapat menarik minat anak untuk belajar dan membaca.

Abstract

Artikel ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui faktor perceraian bagi anggota TNI AD dan untuk menganalisis upaya bintaldam V/Brawijaya dalam pencegahan perceraian TNI AD dilingkungan Kodim 0833 Kota Malang. Penelitian ini termasuk jenis penelitian lapangan dengan pendekatan kualitatif. Data yang dikumpulkan berupa data primer melalui wawancara serta dengan data sekunder dengan teknik dokumentasi dan data laporan yang tersedia. Serta metode pengelolaan data berupa editing, verifikasi, klasifikasi, analisis, dan kesimpulan. Hasil penelitian: Pertama, Faktor terjadinya perceraian bagi anggota TNI AD di Kodim 0833 Kota Malang, yaitu Faktor orang ketiga atau perselingkuhan yang dialami oleh salah satu pihak keluarga, adanya kekerasan rumah tanga dan tidak ada keharmonisan di dalam keluarga. Faktor ekonomi, suami tidak memberi jatah istri sesuai perjanjian. Adanya campur tangan keluarga dan sudah mengesahkan perceraian di Pengadilan Agama. Kedua, upaya pencegahannya yaitu: Upaya Pencegahan, memberikan pembinaan mental bagi prajurut TNI dan memberikan arahan bagi prajurit yang ingin bercerai di lingkungan kodim kota malang. Upaya penyelesaian, membantu memecahkan permasalahan, dengan memberikan dukungan pendampingan bagi anggota TNI dan mediasi kedua belah pihak. Upaya Pengembangan, membantu anggota memelihara kondisi agar lebih baik, dengan melakukan pengawasan bagi anggota TNI yang melanggar aturan akan diberikan surat penekanan dan diberikan rumah dinas bagi keluarga yang rentan akan perceraian.

Abstract

Extracurricular activities are a school program that trains students to be independent from an early age. This independence is important because it is related to students' abilities to be responsible, manage their time, and make their own decisions. This study was conducted to describe how extracurricular activities play a role in shaping student independence at Bangkal 01 Public Elementary School. This study used a simple descriptive quantitative method with a 15-item questionnaire instrument to 15 students. Data were collected by distributing questionnaires to students participating in scouting activities. The analysis results showed that the level of student independence was high with an average percentage of 93%. The study shows that extracurricular activities have a positive impact on student independence. In addition, these activities also help students build self-confidence and practice problem-solving skills through direct experiences. Thus, the extracurricular program at Bangkal 01 Public Elementary School plays a significant role in supporting student independence.

Abstract

The role of leaders is crucial in the workplace, particularly in creating a safe, comfortable, and prosperous atmosphere for employees. Leaders are required to manage employees inclusively to create positive and productive working relationships. Current research indicates that some leaders still lack a grasp of the inclusive approach, resulting in less harmonious working relationships and a decline in employee motivation and productivity. This study aims to analyze the strategy of leaders in building an inclusive work environment. The research approach uses a descriptive qualitative method with data collection techniques of observation, interviews, and documentation. Data were analyzed through data condensation, data presentation, and conclusion drawing. The results show that inclusive leadership plays a significant role in creating a comfortable work environment through open communication, emotional support, fair role allocation, and employee involvement in decision-making. This condition has been shown to increase employee safety, comfort, motivation, and work productivity. This study provides useful references for leaders and organizations in strengthening inclusive leadership practices in the workplace.
