Abstract

The purpose of this study is to find out information literacy strategies in increasing students' reading interest at SDN 10 RANTAU ALAI SUKANANTI BARU VILLAGE.This research method uses qualitative descriptive approach research because it obtains words, images or behavior and is not expressed in statistical form. And the data used in this study is in the form of an explanation of data from informants orally, documentation and observing the location. In this study, the author focuses on information literacy strategies in increasing students' reading interest at SDN 10 RANTAU ALAI SUKANANTI BARU VILLAGE.  The strategy carried out is the habituation stage, development by reading 10 to 15 minutes before class starts or after class starts and must visit the library. As well as the supporting factor stage, namely teacher support and student motivation and enthusiasm in wanting to read as well as enthusiastic support from parents and adequate book collections and inhibiting factors in increasing interest in reading, there are still students who lack enthusiasm in reading and lacking facilities such as tables and chairs in the library.

Abstract

This research is entitled Utilisation of Reading Corner to Increase Students' Interest in Reading at Madrasah Aliyah Negeri 1 Banyuasin. This study aims to understand how the use of the reading corner can increase students' interest in reading at Madrasah Aliyah Negeri 1 Banyuasin, as well as to identify the supporting and inhibiting factors in the utilisation of the reading corner to increase students' interest in reading at Madrasah Aliyah Negeri 1 Banyuasin. The research method is descriptive qualitative research conducted in the field, focusing on the research location. Data collection techniques were conducted through observation and interviews. The main data sources are the Head of Library and students at Madrasah Aliyah Negeri 1 Banyuasin. The results showed that the utilisation of the reading corner at Madrasah Aliyah Negeri 1 Banyuasin has successfully encouraged students' interest in reading which involves several strategies, such as educating students about the importance of reading, as well as encouraging them to read at the reading corner when facing difficulties in learning. In addition, the study also found that the reading corner is used as a reference and discussion place during learning, as well as a means of filling students' spare time

Abstract

This research intends to look at the role of media transfer activities in preserving library materials carried out at the Yogyakarta State University Library UPT. The method used in this research is descriptive research with a qualitative approach. Which means that in this approach, the author describes the facts found at the research location or in the field. The data collection technique is through interviews, observation and documentation. The results of this research were obtained from 2 (two) informants who were Digital Library staff and UPT librarians at the Yogyakarta State University Library. From the observations made by the author, the results obtained are that the role of media transfer in preserving library materials at the Yogyakarta State University Library UPT is that it can preserve the contents or information contained in ancient collections, save the physical collection from damage caused by human hands or age. saves storage space, makes it easier for users to access it, and makes it easier for users to retrieve the collection. Keywords: media transfer, library materials, library. ABSTRAK   Penelitian ini bermaksud untuk melihat peran dari kegiatan alih media dalam melestarikan bahan pustaka yang dilaksanakan di UPT Perpustakaan Universitas Negeri Yogyakarta. Metode yang dipakai didalam penelitian ini ialah penelitian deskriptif dengan pendekatan kualitatif. Yang artinya di dalam pendekatan ini, penulis menjabarkan fakta-fakta yang ditemukan di lokasi penelitian atau di lapangan. Teknik pengumpulan datanya melalui wawancara, observasi, dan dokumentasi. Hasil dari penelitian ini didapatkan dari 2 (dua) orang informan yang merupakan staf bagian Digital Library dan pustakawan UPT Perpustakaan Universitas Negeri Yogyakarta. Dari pengamatan yang sudah dilakukan oleh penulis maka didapatkan hasil bahwa Peran Alih Media Dalam Melestarikan Bahan Pustaka Di UPT Perpustakaan Universitas Negeri Yogyakarta ini ialah dapat menjaga isi atau informasi yang terkandung di dalam koleksi kuno, menyelamatkan fisik koleksi dari kerusakan akibat tangan manusia ataupun termakan usia, menghemat ruang penyimpanan, mempermudah pemustaka dalam pengaksesan, dan, mempermudah pemustaka dalam temu kembali koleksi tersebut.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the Circulation Service System at Bina Darma University Library Palembang. This research discusses the activities of the circulation service system in the library, and explains the challenges faced in circulation services in the library which is very important because it is one of the activities directly related to users or users. The research method is descriptive qualitative with data collection techniques through observation and literature study. The result of the research is that loyalty activities are also a means of measuring the success of the library organization. Circulation Service activities in the library are always directed and focused on how to provide good service and information according to the wishes of users or users. The various loyalty activities carried out by the library are all aimed at utilizing library materials and facilities owned by the library. Information and libraries are interrelated with each other because a library is a center for storing and presenting information and the library stores information that will be disseminated so that it can be accepted by the wider community according to their needs.

Abstract

Information literacy has an important role in developing digital zakat payments, especially through the KitaBisa application. This service research was conducted in Payakabung Village, North Indralaya, Ogan Ilir, with the main aim of increasing information literacy related to digital zakat payments among the community. The service method used includes direct counseling to the Payakabung Village community in using the KitaBisa application to pay zakat. The results of the service show a significant increase in the community's understanding and skills regarding digital zakat payments through the KitaBisa application. Apart from that, community participation in paying zakat via digital methods has also increased, reflecting the success of this service activity in increasing information literacy and the use of technology in religious practices. Thus, this service activity succeeded in making a positive contribution by expanding access and speeding up the zakat payment process, as well as increasing efficiency in managing zakat funds in Payakabung Village, North Indralaya, Ogan Ilir.

Abstract

Pengabdian masyarakat ini mengkaji tentang kegiatan pada layanan audio visual atau layanan konten digitan dan multimedia di UPT perpustakaan ITB. Tujuannya adalah untuk mengetahui kegiatan apa saja yang ada pada layanan audio visual di upt perpustakaan ITB. Penelitian ini telah dilakukan dengan metode deskriptif dengan berkunjung langsung ke UPT perpustakaan ITB untuk mengamati dan melakukan wawancara. Setelah dianalisis, Kesimpulannya menjelaskan beberapa langkah kegiatan pada layanan audio visual di UPT perpustakaan ITB layanan atau to service, di sebuah perpustakaan berbeda dengan layanan pada kegiatan kemasyarakatan yang lain, seperti layanan pada kegiatan kemasyarakatan yang lain, seperti layanan kesehatan, layanan kependudukan, dan layanan keagamaan. Perbedaan itu tentu dikaitkan dengan tugas dan fungsi masing-masing bidang. Meskipun pada dasarnya suatu layanan mempunyai prinsip-prinsip yang sama atau berdekatan.
