Abstract

The development of tourist villages opens up opportunities for women to occupy various professions with avariety of tourism service businesses. Timpag Village is one of the villages in Tabanan Regency that empowerswomen in managing agricultural products, namely gondo vegetables into vegetable chips which are now atypical food and specialty of Timpag Village. This research aims to analyze the role of women in developingtourism icons in Timpag village and determine alternative strategies in developing gondo chips using SWOTanalysis. This research uses qualitative and quantitative descriptive data analysis techniques. Data collectiontechniques were carried out through interviews with informants, observation and documentation. Theinformants chosen for collecting data through interviews were community leaders and women's groups whomanage gondo chips. The research results show that housewives carry out three roles at once, namely domestic(household), economic role (earning a living) and social role (custom). The results of the research show thatthe strengths, weaknesses, opportunities and threats of the Gondo chips business product have been identifiedso that it can be used as a reference in formulating a strategy and model for strengthening the Gondo chipsbusiness product which requires the active role of the government and local community to participate in theeconomic development of housewives in the villages of Timpag and The role of institutions is one of the mostimportant things in developing the Gondo chips business.Keywords: Role, SWOT Analysis, Local Wisdom

Abstract

The travel and tourist industry has been severely impacted by the COVID-19 pandemic's onslaught. The significant decline in the number of tourist visits during the Covid-19 pandemic greatly affected the economic conditions of a region. Various efforts have been made by tourism object managers in order to attract tourists to return to visit. This study aims to identify readiness and factors that are considered by tourists visiting the Banjar hot spring tourist attraction in Buleleng Regency. The method used in this research is mixed methods, namely quantitative and qualitative. The number of samples used in this study were 95 people using incidental sampling. Data collection using a questionnaire. Data analysis techniques using factor analysis. The results of the study show that the Banjar hot spring tourism object is ready to face the new normal period by considering various factors. Furthermore, by using the Principal Component Analysis (PCA) method, four (4) factors and 19 variables were obtained that influenced tourists visiting the Banjar hot spring tourist attraction, Buleleng Regency during the Covid-19 pandemic and were able to explain all the variants in the data, namely 72.236%. Abstract

The area of Timpag Village , Tabanan Regency is very potential to be developed. This village has interesting natural characteristics, unique social and cultural life. In its development, it is necessary to pay attention to the existence of the role of woman. The purpose of this study was to determine the role of women in protecting villages and tourist villages in Timpag village. This research is a type of qualitative research that uses data collection techniques with direct observation to the research location (observation), in-depth interviews, distributing questionnaires, and using literature studies. This study looks at the involvement of women in tourism activities, political empowerment motivates, social empowerment, economic empowerment. Women in the Timpag village not only gain economic benefits but also foster a sense of pride in their local culture. The women in Timpag village are actively involved in the Family Welfare Development group, which is a community organization that empowers women to participate in Indonesia's development. Abstract

In terms of natural potential, cultural potential, and man-made potential, the Timpag resort region of TabananRegency has respectable potential to be developed as a tourist resort. The aim of this research is to find possiblerural tour package models, packaging options, and distribution channels in Timpag Village, Tabanan Regency.This research is a type of qualitative research that collects data through techniques such as in-depth interviewsand conducting literature studies in addition to direct observation at the research site (observation). Bypresenting the findings of the in-depth interviews to the informants, especially the Perbekel, Pokdarwis, andTimpag Village residents, the data is presented in the form of a description. From the results of in-depthinterviews, observations and studies of secondary data that the main drivers of tourism sustainability inTimpag Village are natural potential, cultural potential and man-made potential. The development of naturaltourism involves organizing numerous agricultural pursuits into a singular appeal (USP) that can be promoted.This cultural potential offers a religious destination in the form of a shower with seven springs and shows thelife of farmers to tourists. Tourists are invited to get to know the local culture by being welcomed by thePanyembrama dance. The artificial potential in Timpag village through unique and unique crafts can become atourist destination for village souvenirs. The direct marketing distribution channel model is used to marketrural tour packages in Timpag Village. This involves the use of digital media as well as intermediaries whichinclude marketing agencies such as tour drivers, tour guides, travel agents and local marketers.Keywords: Identify the Potential, Packaging, Tourism Village

Abstract

Perkembangan industri pariwisata baik berupa hotel, restoran, dan tempat-tempat rekreasi lainnya turut mengiringi perkembangan pariwisata di Bali. Banyaknya industri pariwisata yang berkembang khususnya restoran, menimbulkan persaingan semakin ketat. Semua pelaku industri restoran menginginkan pertumbuhan dan perkembangan dalam usahanya. Untuk mencapai tujuan tersebut, salah satu yang bisa dilakukan adalah menganalisis menu yang dijual untuk menentukan strategi bauran pemasaran sehingga dapat mencapai keuntungan yang diinginkan secara optimal. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui dan memaparkan tingkat popularitas dari menu a’la carte untuk lunch dan dinner serta menentukan strategi buaran pemasaran apa yang harus diambil oleh pihak manajemen hotel.Dalam penelitian ini digunakan data kualitatif dan kuantitatif yaitu data-data yang berupa informasi dan angka-angka dari data intern dan ekstern. Data ini dikumpulkan dan diolah dengan teknik analisis menu engineering. Hasil dari penelitian ini menunjukan bahwa dari keseluruhan a’la carte menu yang ditawarkan pada Bunut Café dari 74 makanan , 29,73% atau 22 item tergolong menu Star (popular dan menguntungkan), 25.68% atau 19 item menu tergolong kelas menu Plowhorse (popular tetapi tidak menguntungkan), 28.38% atau 21 item tergolong kelas menu Puzzle (tidak popular tetapi menguntungkan), 16.22% atau 12 item tergolong kelas menu Dog (tidak popular dan tidak menguntungkan).
