<![CDATA[ABSTRACK Based on preliminary studies researchers in selecting a class XI Apk I SMK Negeri 4 Surabaya because the lack of student motivation in learning, demonstrated by some students who arrive late, students who played the phone, chatting with other young students, there are students who come late, interaction between teachers and students and the reverse is also one student to another student minimal, and student learning outcomes is low. Based on the research it is known that an increase in learning outcomes at each meeting and any material. It can be seen from the results of student learning to accept incoming calls on the material I encounter an average value of 2.4. At the second meeting of the average value of 3. Students with hands-on learning models are trained with the skills to practice, so that students easily understand and grasp the material. So that the value at each meeting has increased. As for the motivation of students based on research conducted that students experienced an increase in motivation to learn. This is evidenced by the number choices of students who get the percentage of 80-90%. So the model of direct instruction can improve student motivation. Berdasarkan studi pendahuluan peneliti dalam memilih kelas XI Apk I SMK Negeri 4 Surabaya karena yaitu kurangnya motivasi siswa dalam belajar, ditunjukkan dengan ada beberapa siswa yang datang terlambat, siswa yang memainkan ponsel, siswa ngobrol dengan siswa lainnya, masih ada siswa yang datang terlambat, interaksi antara guru dengan siswa dan sebaliknya juga satu siswa kepada siswa yang lainnya minim,dan hasil belajar siswa rendah. Berdasarkan penelitian diketahui bahwa terjadi peningkatan hasil belajar pada tiap pertemuan dan setiap materi. Hal ini dapat dilihat dari hasil belajar siswa untuk materi menerima telepon masuk pada pertemuan I rata-rata nilai sebesar 2,4. Pada pertemuan II rata-rata nilai sebesar 3. Sedangkan pada materi melakukan telepon keluar pada pertemuan III rata-rata nilai sebesar 2,5. pada pertemuan IV rata-rata nilai sebesar 4. Dengan model pembelajaran langsung siswa dilatih dengan keterampilan untuk praktek, sehingga siswa mudah memahami dan menangkap materi. Sehingga nilai pada setiap pertemuan mengalami peningkatan. Sedangkan untuk motivasi siswa berdasarkan pada penelitian yang dilakukan bahwa siswa mengalami peningkatan dalam motivasi belajar. Hal ini terbukti dengan banyaknya pilihan siswa yang mendapatkan prosentase sebesar 75-90%. Jadi dengan model pembelajaran langsung dapat meningkatkan motivasi siswa.
