Abstrak Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk pengembangan modul pembelajaran berbasis pendekatan saintifikpada kompetensi dasar melakukan komunikasi kantor dan kelayakan modul pembelajaran berbasis pendekatan saintifikpada kompetensi dasar melakukan komunikasi kantor. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode 4-D yang terdiri dari empat tahap yaitu tahap pendefinisian, tahap perencanaan, tahap pengembangan dan tahap penyebaran.Analisis data dilakukan dengan menggunakan lembar validasi ahli materi, ahli bahasa, dan ahli kegrafikan serta evaluasi siswa terhadap modul pembelajaran. Hasil penelitian yang telah dilakukan oleh peneliti, modul berbasis pendekatan saitifik yang telah dikembangkan dinyatakan sangat layak dengan hasil rata-rata presentase kelayakan 90.3% dari 2 ahli materi, 89.3 % dari 2 ahli bahasa, dan 95% dari 1 ahli kegrafikan, serta dinyatakan sangat baik dengan hasil rata-rata presentase kelayakan 91.09% dari lembar evaluasi siswa terhadap modul yang diujicobakan pada kelas X APK 1 sebanyak 20 siswa di SMK Muhammadiyah 1 Taman Sidoarjo. Kata Kunci: Modul Pembelajaran, Peendekatan Saintifik, Pengembangan 4-D Abstract This research aims to the development of a scientific approach-based learning modules on basic competencies do Communications Office and the feasibility of a scientific approach-based learning modules on basic competence do the Communications Office.This research method using 4-D that consists of four stages, namely the definition phase, the planning phase, the development phase and the deployment phase. Data analysis was done by using sheet material expert validation, linguist, and expert graphic as well as the evaluation of the students towards the learning modules. The results of research that has been done by researchers, scientific approach-based learning modules that have been developed are expressed very decent results with the average percentage of the feasibility of 90.3% of the 2 expert material, 89.3% of the 2 linguists, and 95% of 1 graphic, as well as experts expressed very well with the results of the average percentage of the feasibility of 91.09% of student evaluation sheets against modules tested on class X APK 1 as many as 20 students in SMK Muhammadiyah Taman of Sidoarjo.
