Abstract

This research aims to determine the effect and the best dose of Atonik ZPT use on the growth and yield of shallot plants on peatlands. The research was conducted in experimental garden of Faculty of Agriculture of Tanjungpura University from July to September 2017. This research used Completely Randomized Design (RAL) consisting of 5 treatments with 5 replications. Each replication consists of 4 plant samples, so the total number is 100 plants. The treatments were as follows: a1 = Atonic Concentration of 0.25 cc / liter, a2 = Atonic Concentration of 0.50 cc / liter, a3 = Atonic Concentration of 0.75 cc / liter, a4 = Atonic Concentration of 1, 00 cc / liter and a5 = Atonik Concentration of 1.25 cc / liter. Observation variables include: plant height, number of tubers per hill, fresh weight of tubers per hill, dry weight of tuber bulbs per hill and weight per unit of tubers. Based on the result of research that, giving of Atonik Concentration does not influence to plant height, number of tuber per hill, fresh weight of tuber per hill, dry weight of tuber bulb per hill and weight per unit of tuber.key word: shallot, Atonik Concentration, peatlands.

Abstract

One technology that can degrade organic waste is bioconversion using Black Soldier Fly (BSF) or Hermenetia illucens which content high protein source. This research studied the effect of BSF production withg varying feed rate, type of waste, and the quality of compost that produced compare with the Indonesia government requirement. The experiment was conducted at PT. Biomagg Sinergi Internasional, an organic waste processing company in West Java. The results of this study indicated the highest BSF biomass value in the treatment of catering with feed rate of 200 mg/larvae/ day, the highest substrate consumption value was on fermentation waste with feed rate 100 mg/ larvae /day is 72.05%, the highest survival rate was the catering waste with feed rate of 100mg/larvae / day, and the highest value of waste reduction index was the fermentation waste with 100 mg / larvae / day feed rate is 4.80%. The quality of compost produced by bioconversion conducted by PT. BSI has met the quality standards of organic fertilizers based on Permentan No. 70 / Permentan / SR.140 / 10/2011 concerning organic fertilizer.

Abstract

Health and safety at work at PT Santosa Utama Lestari needs to be improved in order to provide a sense of comfort for workers, both directly and indirectly, in some parts or the possibility of having dangerous risk factors due to exposure, temperature and humidity, this is caused by industries that are active with the use of production machines in the corn drying industrial activities of PT. Santosa Utama Lestari Bima Unit. This study aims to analyze the effect of exposure to blood, temperature and humidity on the pressure of employees at PT. Santosa Utama Lestari Bima Unit. This research uses descriptive qualitative data analysis method. Based on the results of this study, the results of the effect of the intensity of the intensity, temperature and humidity at work on systolic blood pressure can be seen the coefficient of determination of the R Square value of 0.166 which implies that the influence of the independent variables (noise, temperature and air) simultaneously on the variables (blood pressure) systolic) was 16.6% percent. While the remaining 80.4% is influenced by factors outside the variables of this study. While the diastolic pressure can be seen the coefficient of determination R Square value of 0.246 which implies that the effect of the independent variables, temperature and humidity simultaneously on the variable (Dystolic pressure) is 0.61%, while the remaining 93.9% is influenced by other factors. outside of this research.
