Abstract

ABSTRAKDinding geser dan bresing merupakan elemen penahan gempa yang banyak digunakan pada gedung bertingkat tinggi. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui perilaku kinerja dinding geser dan bresing dengan menggunakan metode analisis pushover. Obyek penelitian yang digunakan adalah dua sistem stuktur asimetris, yaitu Model 1 berupa gedung dengan dinding geser dan Model 2 berupa gedung dengan bresing. Hasil penelitian simpangan atap saat titik kinerja tercapai pada Model 1 dalam arah X, -X, Y dan -Y (0,225 m, 0,287 m, 0,225 m and 0,234 m) lebih kecil daripada Model 2 (0,344 m, 0,349 m, 0,317 m and 0,357 m) sedangkan besarnya gaya geser dasar pada Model 1 dalam arah X, -X, Y dan -Y (15.322,977 kN, 20.038,897 kN, 22.564,376 kN and 21.371,845 kN) lebih besar daripada Model 2 (11.459,977 kN, 12.957,979 kN, 69,839 kN and 10.912,926 kN). Hal ini menunjukan bahwa Model 1 lebih kaku dan kuat daripada Model 2. Level kinerja kedua model menurut ATC-40 adalah Immediate Occupancy (IO).Kata kunci: dinding geser, bresing, asimetris, pushover, level kinerja ABSTRACTShear wall and bracing are retaining earthquake elements that are widely-used in high-rise buildings. This research aims to determine the performance of shear wall and bracing using pushover analysis method. The objects of the research are two asymmetrical structure system, Model 1 is building using shear wall and Model 2 is building using bracing. The results of the research show that the roof displacement of Model 1 when performance point is reached in the direction of X, -X, Y and -Y (0,225 m, 0,287 m, 0,225 m and 0,234 m) are lower than Model 2 (0,344 m, 0,349 m, 0,317 m and 0,357 m). While the amount of base shear of Model 1 in the direction of X, -X, Y and -Y (15.322,977 kN, 20.038,897 kN, 22.564,376 kN and 21.371,845 kN) higher than the amount of base shear of Model 2 (11.459,977 kN, 12.957,979 kN, 69,839 kN and 10.912,926 kN). Those show that the Model 1 is more rigid and stronger than Model 2. The level of the performance of both models according to ATC-40 is Immediate Occupancy (IO).Keywords: shear wall, bracing, asymmetric, pushover, peformance level

Abstract

ABSTRAKPenelitian ini melakukan kajian pengaruh variasi bentang ‘back span’ pada jembatan. Jembatan yang dikaji adalah jembatan baja profil persegi tubular dengan bentang utama 150 meter dan ‘back span’ 51,2 meter. Ada 6 variasi penambahan dan pengurangan terhadap bentang ‘back span’ jembatan acuan awal yaitu : Model 1 berupa penambahan 10 meter, Model 2 berupa penambahan 5 meter, Model 3 berupa penambahan 0 meter, Model 4 berupa pengurangan 5 meter, Model 5 berupa pengurangan 10 meter, dan Model 6 berupa pengurangan 25 meter. Hasil analisis nilai terbesar menunjukan Model 1 sebesar 78.693,89 kN untuk reaksi perletakan rol, Model 1 sebesar 305,8 mm di girder jembatan untuk lendutan, Model 1 sebesar 21.611,454 kN di girder untuk aksial, Model 1 sebesar 36.775,691 kN di girder untuk momen lentur, dan model 1 sebesar 5.020,33 kN di girder untuk geser. Hal ini menunjukkan beban dari lengkung dan main span jembatan disalurkan menuju ‘back span’ seiring bertambahnya bentang.Kata kunci: jembatan lengkung baja, ‘back span’ ABSTRACTThis research investigate the effect of variant ‘back span’ length in a bridge. The type of the studied bridge is a hollow tube steel bridge with 150 meter of main span and 51,2 meter of back span. There are 6 variations of the addition and subtraction of the bridge 'back span'  length, that is: Model 1 with 10 meters addition, Model 2 with 5 meters addition, Model 3 with 0 meters addition, Model 4 with 5 meters reduction, Model 5 with 10 meters reduction, and Model 6 with 25 meters reduction. Results of the analysis showed that Model 1 have the greatest value of 78693.89 kN for the for roll joint reaction, 1Model amounted to 305.8 mm in girder bridge for deflection, Model 1 amounted to 21.611,454 kN in girder for axial, Model 1 amounted to 36.775,691 kN in girder for momen, and 1 Model amounted to 5.020,33 kN in girder for shear. This show that with increasing of the length, loads from arch and main span are distributed towards ‘back span’Keywords: steel arch bridge, ‘back span’
