Abstract

IDENTIFIKASI FITOKIMIA DAN UJI AKTIVITAS ANTIOKSIDAN EKSTRAK ETANOL TAUGE (Phaseolus radiatus L.) Prilly Jovica Moniharapon1), Edwin de Queljoe1), Herny Simbala1) 1)Progam Studi Farmasi FMIPA UNSRAT Manado, 95115 ABSTRACT The purpose of this research is to identify the active compounds as well as to know the antioxidant activity from the ethanol extract of bean sprouts. Extraction was done by maceration method using 95% ethanol. Identification of phytochemicals include identification of flavonoids, saponins, tannins, and steroids / triterpenoids. The antioxidant activity was testing using DPPH (1,1-diphenyl-2-picrylhydrazyl) method. The results of the phytochemical identification showed that the ethanol extract of bean sprouts contain flavonoids, saponin, and triterpenoids. Antioxidant activity of ethanol extract of bean sprouts as shown from IC50 value was 143.67 ppm. Keywords: Bean sprouts, Phytochemicals identification, Antioxidant activity.   ABSTRAK Tujuan penelitian adalah mengidentifikasi senyawa aktif serta mengetahui aktvitas antioksidan dari ekstrak etanol tauge. Ekstraksi dilakukan dengan metode maserasi menggunakan pelarut etanol 95%. Identifikasi fitokimia meliputi identifikasi flavonoid, saponin, tanin, dan steroid/triterpenoid. Pengujian aktivitas antioksidan dengan metode DPPH (1,1-diphenyl-2-picrylhydrazyl). Hasil dari identifikasi fitokimia menunjukkan bahwa ekstrak etanol tauge mengandung senyawa flavonoid, saponin, dan triterpenoid. Dan aktivitas antioksidan yang dimiliki ekstrak etanol tauge yang dilihat dari nilai IC50 sebesar 143,67 ppm. Kata Kunci : Tauge, Identifikasi Fitokimia, Aktivitas Antioksidan.
