Abstract

Penelitian ini dilaksanakan yang bertujuan untuk mengetahui seberapa jauh tingkat keefektifan konseling cognitive behavioral dengan teknik modeling dalam meningkatkan self-defference siswa kelas IX di SMP Negeri 2 Singaraja, dan mengetahui perbedaan siswa yang di berikan perlakuan cognitive behavioral dengan yang tidak. Populasi yang digunakan peneliti adalah siswa kelas IX di SMP N 2 Singaraja, Peneliti mengambil 2 sampel penelitian melalui simple random sampling dan memperoleh kelas IX 11 sebagai kelompok eksperimen dan kelas IX 1 sebagai kelompok kontrol yang masing-masing berjumalah 25 orang. Metode pengumpulan data dalam penelitian ini menggunakan metode observasi, wawancara, buku harian, pencatatan dokumen dan kuesioner self-defference pola skala likert . Dalam menguji hipotesis pertama digunakan uji t diperoleh thitung sebesar 20,29, dengan ttabel taraf signifikansi 0,05 sebesar 1,710882 maka 20,29 > 1,710882 sehingga dapat disimpulkan Konseling cognitive behavioral dengan teknik modeling efektif untuk meningkatkan self-deference siswa kelas IX di SMP N 2 Singaraja. Dan hipotesis kedua diperoleh thitung sebesar 7,295 dengan ttabel taraf signifikansi 0,05 sebesar 2,063 maka 7,295 ≥ 2,063. Maka dapat diambil keputusan bahwa hasil penelitian dinyatakan signifikan dengan kata lain hipotesis penelitian diterima sehingga terdapat perbedaan Self Deference siswa kelas IX yang diberikan konseling Cognitive Behavioral dengan Teknik Modeling dan yang tidak di berikan konseling Kognitif Behavioral dengan Teknik Modeling. Kata Kunci : Konseling cognitive behavioral, teknik modeling, self Deference This study was done to know the extent of the effectiveness of cognitive behavioral counseling by using modeling technique to improve self-deference of grade IX students of SMP Negeri 2 Singaraja, and to know the difference between the students that were given cognitive behavioral counseling and the students that were not. The population used in this study was grade IX students of SMP Negeri 2 Singaraja, The researcher took 2 samples by using simple random sampling, and determined that the students of IX 11 class as the experimental group and the students of IX 11 class as the control group in which each class had 25 students. The data collection methods in this study were observation, interview, diary, document recording and questionnaire of self-deference pattern of Likert scale. In testing the first hypothesis, t-test used and it was found that 20,29 > 1,710882. Therefore, it could be concluded that cognitive behavioral counseling by using modeling technique was effective to improve self-deference of grade IX students of SMP Negeri 2 Singaraja. Furthermore, the second hypothesis obtained that 7,295 ≥ 2,063. Thus, it could be determined that the result of the study was significant. In other words, the hypothesis of this study was accepted that there were differences of self-deference between grade IX students that were given Cognitive Behavioral counseling by using Modeling Technique and the students that were not given Cognitive Behavioral counseling by using Modeling Technique. keyword : Behavioral Counseling , modeling technique, self-deference

Abstract

Tujuan dari penilitian ini untuk mengetahui keefektifitasan konseling behavioral dengan teknik keterampilan sosial untuk meningkatkan self exhibition siswa pada kelas VIII SMP Negeri 2 Singaraja dan untuk mengetahui perbedaan antara self exhibition siswa kelas VIII SMP N 2 Singaraja yang mendapatkan perlakuan konseling behavioral teknik keterampilan sosial dengan tidak mendapatkan konseling behavioral teknik keterampilan sosial. Penilitian ini termasuk penilitian eksperimen dengan desain nonequivalent pretest posttest control group design. Populasi peneilitian adalah siswa kelas VIII SMP N 2 Singaraja. Pengambilan sampel digunakan dengan teknik random sampling. Pengumpulan data menggunakan 4 instrumen yaitu buku harian, kuesioner, wawancara dan observasi. Untuk menguji hipotesis dilakukan dengan uji t, untuk hipotesis pertama ditemukan nilai thitung > ttabel (12,27 > 1,078) yang berarti bahwa terdapat keefektifan teori konseling behavioral dengan teknik keterampilan sosial untuk meningkatkan Self Exhibition melalui lesson study pada siswa kelas VIII SMP N 2 Singaraja. Pada hipotesis kedua ditemukan bahwa thitung > ttabel (10,88 > 2,06) yang berarti bahwa terdapat perbedaan antara antara self exhibition siswa kelas VIII SMP N 2 Singaraja yang mendapatkan perlakuan konseling behavioral teknik keterampilan sosial dengan tidak mendapatkan perlakuan konseling behavioral teknik keterampilan sosial Kata Kunci : Konseling behavioral, teknik keterampilan sosial, self exhibition The purpose of this study was to know the effectiveness of behavioral counseling by using social skill technique to improve self-exhibition of grade VIII students of SMP Negeri 2 Singaraja, and to know the difference of self-exhibition between grade VIII students of SMP N 2 Singaraja who were given behavioral counseling treatment by using social skill technique and the students who were not given behavioral counseling technique by using social skill technique. This study was experimental research which used nonequivalent pre-test post-test control group design. The population of this study was grade VIII students of SMP N 2 Singaraja. The sample was taken by using random sampling technique. The data collection used 4 instruments: diary, questionnaire, interview and observation. Furthermore, to test the hypothesis, t-test was used, in the first hypothesis, it was found that tcount > ttable (12,27 > 1,078) which meant that there were effectivenesses of the implementation of behavioral counseling theory by using social skill technique to improve self-exhibition through lesson study toward grade VIII students of SMP N 2 Singaraja.
