Abstract

This article aims to: (a) presents a transliteration Kitab Fadhilah Syuhur Menerangkan Kelebihan Bulan Muharran and Kelebihan Hari Asyura arranged by Imam Maulana Abdul Manaf Amin Al-Khatib texts, and (b) serves over language Kitab Fadhilah Syuhur Menerangkan Kelebihan Bulan Muharran dan Kelebihan Hari Asyura arranged by Imam Maulana Abdul Manaf Amin Al-Khatib texts. The results of this study is to present a text that can be read and understood by the people now on the text of the Kitab Fadhilah Syuhur Menerangkan Kelebihan Bulan Muharram and Kelebihan Hari Asyura arranged by Imam Maulana Abdul Manaf Amin Al-Khatib. The results of this study also presents the text has been adapted to the Indonesian Spelling (EBI). This text recounts every good practices such as fasting, charity, and the other was in the month of Muharram and Ashura, the reward will be multiplied practice. In the manuscript Kitab Fadhilah Syuhur Menerangkan Kelebihan Bulan Muharran and Kelebihan Hari Asyura arranged by Imam Maulana Abdul Manaf Amin Al-Khatib text is a vocabulary that shows the variety of old Malay language in it. This is done in order to maintain the purity of the language script.Keywords: transliteration, transcription, ancient script

Abstract

This article was written to (1) describing a short history text of Syekh Muhammad Nasir (Syekh Surau Baru) by Imam Maulana Abdul Manaf Amin; (2) presenting the edition of short history text of Syekh Muhammad Nasir (Syekh Surau Baru) by Imam Maulana Abdul Manaf Amin; (3) presenting the tranlation of short history text of Syekh Muhammad Nasir (Syekh Surau Baru) by Imam Maulana Abdul Manaf Amin. The purpose of this research was the story about short history of Syekh Muhammad Nasir (Syekh Surau Baru) by Imam Maulana Abdul Manaf Amin. There were four procedures of this research, data collection, manuscript description, script switching, and translation. The result of this research is available in the form of text about short history text of Syekh Muhammad Nasir (Syekh Surau Baru) by Imam Maulana Abdul Manaf Amin in Latin script and Indonesian language and there are also Minangkabau vocabularies.Keywords: philology, manuscript, transcription, transfer of language

Abstract

This article aims to describe the structure and function of rhyme society in East Painan Nagari, District IV Jurai, South Coastal District. Study the theory used in this research, among others; (1) understanding of folklore, (2) the folklore and oral literature, (3) the nature of the poem Minangkabau, (4) the kinds of quatrain Minangkabau, (5) the characteristics of the poem, (6) the structure of the poem, (7) the function of rhyme Minangkabau , Pantun Nagari community in East Painan has a physical structure and inner structure. The physical structure consists of: (1) use of diction, (2) using images, (3) use concrete words, (4) using figurative language, (5) using rhyme a, i, u, e, o, h, m, n, ng, and k and Ritma said. Inner structure consists of: (1) theme, (2) feeling, (3) the tone and atmosphere, (4)  mandate. Function of rhyme society in east Painan Nagari, District IV Jurai, South Coastal Dict consists of: (1) as a means of communication, (2) as an identity Minangkabau society, (3) as flowers decorate tradition of Minangkabau society, (4) as a means to preach, (5) as a means to educate, (6) as the embodiment of traditional, (7) as symbols of Minangkabau culture, (8) to excite and motivate the heroic values of Minangkabau society, (9) to humanize humans. Keywords: Pantun, structure and function, oral tradition

Abstract

This study aimed to: (a) describe the episodes of the novel Sabtu Bersama Bapak by Adhitya Mulya, (b) describe the episodes of the film Sabtu Bersama Bapak  directed by Monty Tiwa, (c) describe the comparison of episodes in the novel Sabtu Bersama Bapak by Adhitya Mulya with Film Sabtu Bersama Bapak  by Monty Tiwa. This research is a qualitative research with descriptive method. This research data is the episode of the novel Sabtu Bersama Bapak by Mulya and film Sabtu Bersama Bapak by Monty TiwaThe technique of data validation is done by detailed description. Analyzing technique is done by the theory of ekranisasi. The results obtained from this research are the 192 episodes of the novel Sabtu Bersama Bapak by Adhitya Mulya, 127 episodes of the movie's Sabtu Bersama Bapak director Monty Tiwa and 83 episodes of the same story contained in novel Sabtu Bersama Bapak by Adhitya Mulya and film Sabtu Bersama Bapak by Monty Tiwa who experienced changes in variations of events, characters and background. It happens because of the creation of the director while adapting the novel to the movie.Keywords : novel, movie, ekranisasi

Abstract

The purpose of this study: (a) presents about transliteration text “Book Fadhillah Syuhur: Describe the Month of Ramadhan and Excess Worships in it and Excess Month of Syawal Compiled by Imam Maulana Abdul Manaf Amin Al-Khatib”. (b) presents about translation text “Book Fadhillah Syuhur: Describe the Month of Ramadhan and Excess Worships in it and Excess Month of Syawal Compiled by Imam Maulana Abdul Manaf Amin Al-Khatib”. This study is a philology research. The object of this study is the text “Book Fadhillah Syuhur: Describibe the Month of Ramadhan and Excess Worships in it and Excess Month of Syawal Compiled by Imam Maulana Abdul Manaf Amin Al-Khatib”. The method that was used in this study suitable with stage of research. In this stage collect the data that is used library research and field research methods. In this stage of the description used descriptive method. In this stage of transliteration used transliteration method. In this stage translation used translation method. The finding of the study is avalaible of text about “Book Fadhillah Syuhur: Describe the Month of Ramadhan and Excess Worships in it and Excess Month of Syawal Compiled by Imam Maulana Abdul Manaf Amin Al-Khatib” in Latin script and Indonesian language. In this text is found old Malay language diversity that’s retained to preserve the purity of vocabulary.Keywords: Philology, text, transliteration, translation.
