Abstract

Abstrak This study aims to describe the development of learning media and produce software that is suitable to be used as a medium of science teaching in primary schools designed for self-learning and groups. Individual and small group trials were conducted for respondents with high, moderate, and low ability. Data from trials are used to revise the software before it is used in field trials. The results of  the validation by science subject matter experts and instructional media expert shows that learning media software on a Likert scale has a very good quality learning (with value 4,5), the quality of the learning strategy is excellent (with value 4, 2), the quality of media products good is efficient (with value 4,0), the display quality is very good (with value 4,4), and technical quality and effectiveness of the program is very good (with value 4,3). The average results of field trials showed that learning media software on a Likert scale has a very good quality (with value 4,6), the quality of effectiveness for learners is very good (with value 4,6) .   Keywords: Learning Media, Science, Macromedia Flash 8
