Abstract

Abstract This research aims to determine the effectiveness of mathematics learning with reciprocal teaching approach in the setting of cooperative learning. The subject matter is system of linear equations of three variables grade X IPS-1 MAN 2 Pontianak. Three aspects of learning effectiveness used are the teacher?s ability to manage learning, the student activity learning, and the student learning outcomes. The research method used is descriptive method. The form of research used is pre-experiment with research design The One Shot Case Study. The research subjects are 39 students. The research instrumen is the observation sheet and achievement test. The results of data analysis showed that the criteria of teacher ability to manage learning classified good. The criteria of student activity during the learning classified active. But classically of the mastery learning student outcomes less than 85%. Because one of three aspects of learning effectiveness are not met, it can be concluded that mathematics learning with reciprocal teaching approach in the setting of cooperative learning are not effective.   Keywords: Reciprocal Teaching, The Learning Effectiveness, System of Linear Equations of Three Variables
