Abstract

The study aims at analyzing the effect of capital expenditure and local government capital investment on the economic growth as measured by the Regional Gross Domestic Product. The secondary data of such variables are collected from 29 regencies/cities in Banten and NTT Provinces during the period of 2011 up to 2014, which covers 116 observed data. This explanatory research applies multiple regression analysis method. The result of the study shows that capital expenditure has partially given positive and significant effect on the economic growth; on the contrary, the local government capital investment does not influence the economic growth.Keywords: Capital Expenditure; Local Government Capital Investment; Economic Growth
