The purpose of the research is to investigate the lecturers' adaptability to technological change and its impact on the teaching process. To adapt the technological change, lecturers must have attitudes to learn technology, knowledge in technology, ability, and skills to change them into qualified lecturers. The problem in Tangerang City is the lecturers have difficulty in adapting the technology, some of the lecturers unprepared in teaching and make the learning chaotic. Other lectures give many tasks and quizzes the same as the classroom's learning, and it will not achieve the learning goal. The research method is mixed methods, and the primary data is from questionnaires that give to the lecturers by Google Form. Data collection measures in 2 dimensions of lecturersâ€™ adaptability and online teaching. The result found that 85 respondents can adapt to technological change, and for the use of online teaching, there were 87 respondents. Some of the lecturers tried to move to online teaching and learn advanced techniques. And with this research, it was shown that lecturers were ready to move to the 21-century online learning process.

Promoting journals managed in DOAJ, it provides convenience as a curated online directory a community that indexes and provides access to managed journals to improve the journal. Â The data available in DOAJ are independent, and this community service is believed to guide journal managers regarding DOAJ indexing. The problem is that many scientific journals in Indonesia have yet to be indexed by DOAJ, which DOAJ provides all content free of charge without delays or user registration requirements and meets high-quality standards. This community service method uses three stages. The first stage is the preparatory stage of team coordination to determine collaboration, resource persons, and preparation of activities and events. The second stage follows up the implementation with activities in the form of lectures, discussions, questions and answers, and practice which aims to build insight into registering journals with DOAJ. The evaluation stage is carried out by giving questionnaires to seminar participants as respondents to get feedback from the organizers. The results were that 86.96% understood how to register scientific journals with DOAJ. Thus, it can be obtained an overview of the level of success in implementing community service related to participants' understanding of registering scientific journals with DOAJ.

Seminar pengabdian masyarakat yang dilaksanakan pada tanggal 22 Mei 2024 ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan kemampuan parafrase dosen dan peneliti guna meningkatkan kualitas dan dampak artikel jurnal ilmiahnya. Seminar ini mengikuti roadmap lima tahap yang terstruktur: 1) Persiapan Perencanaan Awal dengan menentukan Tujuan Seminar, 2) Keterlibatan Peserta melalui Kolaborasi dan Focus Group Discussion (FGD), 3) Pengembangan Keterampilan Parafrase, 4) Mengumpulkan Masukan Peserta berupa parafrase hasil, dan 5) Analisis dan Refleksi Data untuk mengidentifikasi kekuatan dan area yang perlu ditingkatkan. Seminar ini mendapat tanggapan positif dari para peserta, yang melaporkan tingkat kepuasan yang tinggi dan menyatakan minatnya pada sesi berikutnya. Data yang dikumpulkan dari kuesioner pasca-seminar menunjukkan adanya permintaan yang kuat untuk melanjutkan pelatihan, yang menggarisbawahi perlunya dukungan berkelanjutan di bidang ini. Inisiatif ini tidak hanya meningkatkan keterampilan menulis ilmiah para peserta tetapi juga menyoroti peran penting parafrase yang efektif dalam komunikasi penelitian. Keberhasilan seminar ini menunjukkan keterlibatan aktif kampus dalam mendukung proyek pengabdian masyarakat dan menekankan pentingnya membekali peneliti dengan keterampilan komunikasi penting untuk memajukan penyebaran pengetahuan global.

Exploring the Integration of Digital Literacy (DL) in Higher Education (PT) is a complex and continuously developing relationship. This research aims to identify barriers and factors for effective integration and assess their impact on learning. This research uses mixed methods to measure 93 lecturers from various academic backgrounds, and teaching experiences to reveal the multifaceted dynamics of DL integration by examining experiences, perceptions, and institutional factors that influence lecturers. Correlation findings reveal distinct relationships, while regression and structural equation modeling highlight the explanatory power of selected predictors. The findings of this research have practical implications for lecturers, administrators, and policymakers in higher education. Additionally, this research contributes to the scholarly discourse by capturing diverse narratives surrounding the integration of DL in HE. This increased understanding of research opens up opportunities for future research in the form of further investigation into the specific dynamics of peer influence and the impact of institutional policies. In conclusion, higher education institutions adapt to the digital era's demands, and collective research and practice efforts can form an inclusive and adaptive education system.

Exploring the Integration of Technology in English Language Teaching: A Research Study, investigates the multifaceted relationship between technology and English language instruction. This mixed-methods study delves into English language teachers' attitudes, practices, challenges, and aspirations regarding technology integration. A combination of quantitative surveys and qualitative interviews, the study examines the perceptions and experiences of educators at varying levels of technology integration proficiency. Quantitative analyses reveal mean scores and frequencies across dimensions such as technology's role, integration challenges, perceived benefits, and impact on student engagement and learning outcomes. Qualitative provides depth and context, elucidating individual experiences, strategies, and visions for the future. Convergence and divergence between quantitative data and qualitative narratives offer nuanced understandings of technology integration in language education. Findings indicate a generally positive attitude towards technology integration among participants, tempered by challenges such as technical proficiency, resource accessibility, and pedagogical alignment. Despite obstacles, the teachers express a collective vision for technology's transformative potential in language teaching, advocating for innovation, equity, and student-centered learning. The study contributes to the ongoing discourse on technology integration in language education, offering insights for policymakers, practitioners, and researchers striving to harness the benefits of technology for enhanced language learning experiences.

This research investigates how residents, government officials, and farmers in Tangerang City, Banten, Indonesia perceive temperature, precipitation, and food security. By combining quantitative survey data with qualitative insights through a mixed-methods approach, a holistic view of stakeholder perspectives is achieved. Findings reveal that farmers have higher mean perceptions across all variables, indicating their heightened awareness and proactive stance toward climate-related challenges. Government officials also demonstrate consistent awareness of temperature and precipitation issues, reflecting their professional engagement. Residents exhibit diverse experiences and awareness levels, suggesting varying community perceptions Major disparities in understanding underscore the necessity of varied perspectives in tackling climate problems. Recommendations consist of expanding participant numbers, examining various data sets, enhancing the blend of qualitative and quantitative methodologies, engaging stakeholders throughout the research process, and fostering partnerships across fields for well-informed decision-making

Lecturers’ Attitudes towards Online Teaching in the Learning Process Mardiana, Harisa

The author's interest is to investigate the lecturers' attitudes towards online teaching in the learning process which is the teaching for the 21st-century learning process and to seek the relationship among lecturers’ attitudes, online teaching and learning process. The problem is many lecturers in Tangerang City area are afraid of using technology and some of them are stuttered and technology illiterate. The lecturers still prefer face to face learning in the class more campuses have provided Moodle as a platform of learning. With the circumstances of Coronavirus, the learning has moved to e-learning. In this research, the author used a mixed-method and the number of respondents was 104, data collection was obtained from questionnaires sent via Google Form and distributed through WhatsApp to the lecturers in Tangerang City area. Data is translated into frequency and regression linear. The result showed that 73 lecturers change them toward e-learning and remain 27 lectures had difficulty in teaching online and preferred traditional learning. Pekerjaan dosen di Indonesia cukup berat. Dosenharus melakukan Tri Dharma Perguruan Tinggi; yaitu melakukan pengajaran, penelitian dan pengabdian kepada masyarakat. Setelah melakukan penelitian dan pengabdian masyarakat, dosen diwajibkan untuk mempublikasikan karyanya pada jurnal-jurnal yang ada baik di Indonesia, maupun di luar negeri. Maka dari itu, banyak dosen yang mempunyai kesulitan untuk menulis hasil penelitian dan pengabdian masyarakat untuk di publikasikan. Oleh itu, salah satu universitas yang ada di Banjarmasin, Kalimantan Selatan, mengadakan Pelatihan Dasar-Dasar Penulisan Manuskript Ilmiah Untuk Peningkatan Publikasi Ilmiah yang dilakukan. Pelatihan ini dilakukan untuk para dosen agar dapat meningkatkan penulisan dan publikasi ilmiah. Pelatihan ini diikuti oleh sekitar 52 dosen pada universitas tersebut, ditambah dengan beberapa dosen dari beberapa universitas disekitarnya. Pelatihan dilakukan selama sehari melalui zoom yang disiapkan oleh universitas tersebut dan pelatih memberikan beberapa tips dan cara yang benar dalam penulisan karya ilmiah. Produk pelatihan ini diharapkan dapat menghasilkan karya ilmiah berupa makalah atau artikel ilmiah yang sesuai dengan kompetensi masing-masing dosen, yang nantinya dapat dipublikasikan dalam jurnal ilmiah di tingkat nasional dan internasional. Besar harapan dari universitas tersebut agar para dosen dapat melakukan penelitian dan menulis penelitian minimal satu tahun sekali dan menulis pengabdian kepada masyarakat setahun dua kali pada jurnal-jurnal nasional dan internasional

Untuk meningkatkan kemampuan bahasa Inggris, semua dosen diharuskan untuk memiliki pengetahuan, kemampuan, keterampilan dan pemahaman dalam berbahasa Inggris. Maka dari itu, RJI Koordinasi DKI Jakarta memberikan pelatihan dan pengarahan dalam melakukan paraphrasing, membaca dan menulis artikel jurnal ilmiah sehingga penulis artikel dapat menulis kembali setelah di paraphrasing. Setelah melakukan pelatihan paraphrasing, diharapkan para dosen dapat mempublikasikan karyanya di jurnal-jurnal Indonesia yang bereputasi dan jurnal-jurnal internasional yang bereputasi. Permasalahannya adalah banyak dosen di Indonesia yang sulit melakukan paraphrasing, sehingga menyulitkan dosen tersebut untuk mempublikasikan karya ilmiahnya. Pelatihan ini diikuti oleh 62 dosen diseluruh Indonesia melalui Webinar yang diadakan oleh Relawan Jurnal Indonesia Koordinasi DKI Jakarta pada hari Senin, 25 Oktober, 2021, jam 13.30-15.00. Hasil yang diperoleh adalah semua dosen mengerti cara paraphrasing yang benar dan diharapkan dapat berkontribusi pada penulisan artikel di jurnal-jurnal nasional yang bereputasi dan jurnal-jurnal Internasional yang bereputasi.
