Abstract

The refugee crisis that has occurred in the EU region since 2015 has left the EU overwhelmed and has to seek ways to overcome the crisis as the crisis inevitably pose a threat to both the EU and the refugees. This paper describes the various attempts by the EU to address these issues with the challenges it faces. Using the concept of "refugees" and "Dublin regulation" to aid the exposure. While the methodology is used a qualitative methodology by focusing on the narrative (descriptive) to describe the various efforts. This paper concludes that the EU's efforts to address the refugee crisis are in three ways: organizing the agenda through the European Agenda on Migration, then proceeding to make some changes or reform the Dublin or Dublin Regulation / Dublin System Regulation, and made an agreement with Turkey called the European Union (EU) -Turkey Agreement. These efforts ultimately begin to show a small success as the reduction of the coming of refugees, yet there are always other challenges that the EU must face behind it

Abstract

Abstract

Violence against children is a big problem that still often occurs in all parts of the world, both online violence (cyberbullying) and violence that occurs in person. One of UNICEF’s efforts to solve the issue is by initiating celebrity diplomats, namely BTS, to cooperate with UNICEF in the anti-violence Campaign against children "Love Myself". This study aims to explore the role of non-state actors, in this case, celebrities as diplomatic figures who have a significant role in Campaigning for the issue of anti-violence against children. This study uses the concept of Celebrity Diplomacy, the concept of International Organization, and the theory of Regime Effectiveness. This qualitative descriptive research uses secondary data derived from multiple sources and analyzed through the model of Miles and Huberman. The results of this study indicate that the Love Myself Campaign is effective in spreading positive messages to love yourself and decreasing the amount of violence against children, and has succeeded in raising many funds from various work programs or activities initiated by UNICEF with BTS, which will be used entirely for the needs of the Campaign.

AbstractSade Village is a village that is famous for its original and traditional culture in massive modernization in various parts of the world. The authenticity of the culture that the residents of Sade Village still maintain attracts the attention of various tourists, both local and foreign tourists to visit. In the midst of tourist interest, Sade Village then turned into an independent tourist village that relied on its culture as a livelihood or what is called cultural commercialization. Through this paper, researchers will discuss how the commercialization of culture in Sade Village affects the indigenous culture in Sade Village itself using the perspective of modernization and cultural commodification with data collected through qualitative research methods through primary and secondary data collection techniques.
