Abstract

This paper examines the content of the propaganda of Hanan Attaki on social media in an effort to spread goodness and religious messages, especially about divinity among young people. By using content analysis method, this paper attempts to describe in depth the contents of the information being reviewed, namely Hanan Attaki’s youtube post with the theme “Allah Kangen Sera His” published on December 6, 2017. This paper explains that in terms of content, the conception of God what was built by Hanan Attaki must be based on three interrelated aspects: 1) deep faith insight, 2) correct perception of God and 3) emotional aspects (faith) in the form of longing, missed, and ashamed of God. These three aspects of God must be in line with the true insight of God according to Islam. At the next stage, this perception must be manifested in the form of deep emotions towards God in the form of longing to do good and shame in doing evil. This paper also explains that Hanan Attaki’s “Kangen” video content has received positive responses from netizens, especially among young people with high popularity (share, like, comment). The lively preaching carried out by Hanan Attaki on social media is able to build public perceptions, especially the millennial generation, about God in a simple way. This was supported by his distinctive rhetoric, style of language, voice and gestures and also a more relaxed and slender way of dressing to compensate for the dominant young children.

Abstract

Penelitian ini mengkaji tentang penerapan gagasan moderasi beragama oleh peserta Sekolah Keberagaman Kalimantan Timur dalam memahami realitas sosial sebagai upaya counter radicalism. Dengan menggunakan content analysis, penelitian ini mendeskripsikan konten (isi) buku “Langkah Kecil Menyemai Toleransi” dengan melihat sejauh mana moderasi beragama di adopsi oleh peserta Sekolah Keberagaman. Hasil kajian menunjukkan bahwa (1) peserta Sekolah Keberagaman telah membuka diri dan mencoba melihat serta memahami realitas sosial yang ada dilingkungan sekitar; (2) Mengadopsi cara hidup modern, seperti sains dan teknologi; (3) Berpikir rasional dan mengedepankan akal pengetahuan daripada emosi; (4) Memahami agama tidak hanya secara tekstual namun juga dengan kontekstual dan komprehensif; dan (5) Melalui Sekolah Keberagaman, harapan mereka maupun kita semua adalah Indonesia dapat menjadi contoh untuk negara lain dalam hal toleransi, harmoni, dan kerjasama antar-agama maupun antar-etnis. Kelima hal tersebut sejalan dengan konsep moderasi beragama, artinya bahwa peserta telah mengaktualisasikan konsep moderasi beragama dalam hidupnya. Melalui tagline ‘cerita toleransi’, Sekolah Keberagaman mengajak kalangan pemuda untuk secara aktif mengkampanyekan pentingnya toleransi, perilaku positif, dan dalam kehidupan sosial baik di dunia nyata maupun di dunia maya sebagai upaya counter radicalism.

Abstract

This study aims to describe the Implementation of Islamic Communication in Therapeutic Communication to Midwives at Inche Abdoel Moeis Hospital Samarinda. This research is a qualitative descriptive study with a phenomenological approach. The results showed that there were six therapeutic communication techniques applied by midwives at Inche Abdoel Moeis Samarinda Hospital, namely (1) active and attentive listeners, (2) showing acceptance, (3) conveying the results of observations, (4) giving appreciation, (5) assertiveness, and (6) humor. Meanwhile, Islamic communication in therapeutic communication to midwives at RSUD Inche Abdoel Moeis Samarinda has yet to be formally applied but substantially has similarities in the principles of Islamic communication. This is manifested in the principles of (1) the principle of honesty, (2) positive speech principle, (3) the principle of the package (heart, verbal, and deed), (4) the principle of two ears and one mouth, (5) the principle of mutual influence, (6) the principle of privacy
