Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effect of family education on family knowledge and compliance with hypertension sufferers in carrying out treatment. The research method used was pre-experiment with a one-group pretest-posttest design approach. The sample in this study amounted to 83 respondents. Data analysis used the Wilcoxon test. The results of research on the influence of family education on family knowledge about hypertension treatment, P-Value < 0.000 and compliance of hypertension sufferers in carrying out P-Value treatment < 0.000. In conclusion, there is an influence of family education on family knowledge and compliance with hypertension sufferers in carrying out treatment. Abstract

Establish and develop high-quality human resources in border areas, both in terms of mastery and ability of science and technology, competitiveness, and the formation of national character, feelings, and attitudes. Improving School Infrastructure manifests the Government's attention to Improving Educational Infrastructure in the 3 T (Frontier, Outermost, Disadvantaged) Regions. Good implementation management of the Nunukan Regency School Facilities and Infrastructure Rehabilitation and Renovation work has impacted the construction completion on time and with the right quality. Implementing the work method aims to provide knowledge about the stages from the tender process to the Handover of Work. The process of carrying out construction work for the Rehabilitation and Renovation of School Facilities and Infrastructure in Nunukan Regency has the challenge of managing worker mobilization, material mobilization, and technical personnel mobilization, which is divided into 9 spread-out location points, as well as geographical locations on 2 islands and directly bordering the State of Malaysia. Mother's knowledge in compiling a toddler menu is a key factor in the practice of fulfilling children's daily nutrition.Objective: To determine the influence of nutrition education on increasing maternal knowledge in the preparation of the toddler menu in the Medan Denai PKM area.Methods: This study used a quasi-experimental design with pre-test and post-test approaches in the intervention and control groups. The sample consisted of 100 mothers who had toddlers aged 6–24 months and were selected through purposive sampling. The intervention group received nutrition education for 3 sessions over a four-week period. Data collection was carried out through knowledge questionnaires before and after the intervention. Data analysis used paired t-test, independent t-test, and ANCOVA. Results: There was a significant increase in knowledge scores in the intervention group (p<0.001), while the control group showed a non-significant increase (mean p=0.08). Bivariate and multivariate analyses showed that nutrition education had a significant effect on improving maternal knowledge, regardless of education and family income (p<0.001). Conclusion: Nutrition education has been proven to be effective in increasing mothers' knowledge about the preparation of the toddler menu. It is necessary to implement nutrition education routinely in the Puskesmas and Posyandu as a preventive and promotive effort in improving the nutritional status of toddlers. Keywords: Nutrition, Knowledge, Toddler Menu
