Abstract

Kebijakan pelaksanaan pembelajaran secara daring di masa pandemi Covid-19 menyebabkan layanan perpustakaan FMIPA Universitas Padjadjaran tidak bisa dilakukan secara langsung, layanan menggunakan email atau WhatsApp yang telah dilaksanakan dinilai kurang efektif. Pada saat menjelang masa pendaftaran wisuda jumlah mahasiswa yang mengajukan surat keterangan bebas pinjam perpustakaan meningkat signifikan sehingga terjadi antrian yang cukup panjang. Di sisi lain  kebijakan penggabungan perpustakaan program studi ke perpustakaan fakultas menyebabkan peningkatan beban kerja perpustakaan. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah mengetahui penerapan layanan online  perpustakaan yaitu layanan bebas pinjam perpustakaan, layanan keterangan unggah karya akhir, layanan cek plagiarisme, layanan penelusuran informasi, dan layanan referensi di perpustakaan FMIPA Universitas Padjadjaran. Penerapan layanan perpustakaan online berdampak pada meningkatnya efisiensi dan efektivitas perpustakaan yaitu kemudahan penyusunan laporan kinerja pegawai, karena setiap layanan yang dilaksanakan akan tercatat di dalam sistem, dari sistem yang ada pimpinan dapat melakukan monitoring dan evaluasi pekerjaan pegawai, mahasiswa dapat memperoleh layanan dengan mudah, hemat waktu dan cepat tanpa harus datang ke perpustakaan, pustakawan dapat melakukan pelayanan online ini dari mana saja, penghematan tinta printer dan kertas, dan efisiensi pegawai. Saat ini layanan perpustakaan online ini digunakan dan dapat dilihat penggunaannya pada laman website FMIPA Universitas Padjadjaran.

Abstract

Knowledge Management mempunyai peran yang semakin penting dalam organisasi di berbagai industri. Melalui Knowledge Management, organisasi berusaha untuk memperoleh atau menciptakan pengetahuan yang berpotensi, bermanfaat dan membuatnya tersedia bagi anggota organisasi sehingga dapat digunakan pada waktu dan tempat yang tepat untuk secara positif mempengaruhi kinerja organisasi. Perpustakaan Universitas Padjadjaran belum mengelola pengetahuan yang ada secara maksimal. Pengelolaan pengetahuan di perpustakaan Universitas Padjadjaran masih terbatas pada pengetahuan eksplisit contohnya teksbook, jurnal, ebook, e-journal, skripsi, tesis, dan disertasi, padahal masih banyak pengetahuan eksplisit dan tacit yang dapat dikelola sehingga membawa manfaat bagi civitas akademika dan institusi. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah adanya model usulan Knowledge Management di perpustakaan Universitas Padjadjaran. Penelitian dilakukan dengan menggunakan analisis SWOT untuk kemudian diperoleh model KM di Perpustakaan Universitas Padjadjaran. Hasil penelitian diperoleh model usulan proses Knowledge Management di Perpustakaan Universitas Padjadjaran yaitu knowledge creation (penciptaan pengetahuan), knowledge acquisition (akuisisi pengetahuan), knowledge storage (penyimpanan pengetahuan) knowledge sharing (berbagi pengetahuan), dan knowledge application (aplikasi pengetahuan).

Abstract

The college library is one of the collection services provided by the college to obtain information. In conducting information search, there are several information search behaviors. This study examines student information seeking behavior in the collection service of the Padjadjaran University FMIPA Library in the digital era. Information seeking behavior has a very close relationship with information seeking, because then information can be obtained. The purpose of this study was to determine the information seeking behavior of the Unpad FMIPA library collection service through six stages and to determine the relationship between information seeking and information seeking behavior. The research method is qualitative with observation and interviews. This research method was conducted on three Unpad FMIPA students and one Unpad FMIPA librarian. The model used in this study consists of six stages, namely start- ing, chaining, browsing, differentiating, monitoring, and extracting. The result of the research is that students who need information have carried out the six stages well, namely students understand the information needed before starting a search, and are able to identify reference sources in searching for information, students use search information tools and their support- ers. the device with the help of lib.unpad.ac.id, can determine the forms and sources of relevant information that can be used, as well as identify search keywords, and make observations on information relating to their needs. And the last stage students choose information according to their needs and which are considered important. After going through the stages of searching for student information effectively, quickly, and precisely in finding the sources of information needed, especially gathering information at FMIPA Unpad.
