Abstract

Aims: This study was to determine the factors that influence the incidence of postpartum blues in postpartum mothers in Karang Tengah Urban Village, Sukabumi City. Methods: Correlational research with cross sectional approach. The study population was all postpartum mothers in Karang Tengah Urban Village, Sukabumi City and a sample of 30 people using purposive sampling technique. Results: There was an effect of social support, coping stress, socioeconomic status, and gender roles on the incidence of postpartum blues in postpartum mothers (p < 0.05). There is a simultaneous influence of social support, coping stress, socioeconomic status, and gender roles on the incidence of postpartum blues in postpartum women (p < 0.05). Conclusion: Postpartum blues incidence in postpartum mothers in Karang Tengah Urban Village Area of Sukabumi City is influenced by social support, coping stress, socioeconomic status, and gender roles.

Abstract

Pentingnya pemberian ASI eksklusif bagi bayi tergambar dari kandungan nutrisi, hormon, dan unsur kekebalan yang terdapat dalam ASI. Meskipun pemerintah telah mengatur pemberian ASI eksklusif selama enam bulan, data WHO menunjukkan bahwa hanya 40% bayi di dunia yang mendapatkannya. Di Indonesia, prevalensi ASI eksklusif hingga enam bulan hanya sebesar 29.5%. Pengeluaran ASI dipengaruhi oleh produksi hormon prolaktin dan pengeluaran hormon oksitosin, yang dapat ditingkatkan melalui pijatan pada tulang belakang ibu. Pijat oksitosin tidak hanya merangsang refleks let down tetapi juga memberikan kenyamanan, mengurangi bengkak, dan mempertahankan produksi ASI. Metode yang digunakan yaitu metode ceramah dan diskusi secara offline. Kelompok sasaran adalah ibu menyusui di Wilayah Kerja Puskesmas Cibeureum Hilir. Bentuk instrumen yang digunakan adalah dengan wawancara dan praktik yang berhubungan dengan hal tersebut. Kegiatan dilaksanakan pada tanggal 21 Juli 2022 yang mengikuti kegiatan ini adalah sebanyak 37 orang ibu menyusui, dan 3 orang kader, dan 1 fasilitator penyuluh. Hasil dari kegiatan penyuluhan ini adalah adanya penambahan pengetahuan manfaat pijat oksitosin bagi ibu menyusui Di 20 Wilayah Kerja Puskesmas Cibeureum Hilir dan Ibu menyusi dapat mempraktikan pijat oksitosin yang dapat menambah cakupan ASI eksklusif di Wilayah Kerja Puskesmas Cibeureum Hilir. Kesimpulan adanya penambahan pengetahuan manfaat pijat oksitosin bagi ibu menyusui dan dapat mempraktikan pijat oksitosin yang dapat menambah cakupan ASI eksklusif di Wilayah Kerja Puskesmas Cibeureum Hilir. Diharapkan bidan dan tenaga kesehatan lainnya bekerja sama dengan kader senantiasa memberikan penyuluhan tentang pijat oksitosin untuk memperlancar ASI sehingga dapat menambah cakupan ASI Eksklusif. Kata kunci: Ibu Menyusui, ASI, Pijat Oksitosin
