Abstract

Infrastructures' quality on bus safety are depends on some elements supporting such as the bus company, driver, spare parts, bus compete, and the bus itself Based on the driver's behavior some points that should be concerns are the driver's safety awareness and illegal driver license, which affecting the driver's behavior such as; driving carelessly, disobey the passengers' safety and disobey the traffic signs. The goal of this study is to find out the quality of AKDP/AKAP bus safeh/s infrastructures and passengers safety's factors. Some recommendations are expected to be delivered as the results of the study as the improvement of the quality of AKDP/ AKAP bus safety's infrastructures in order to support the passengers' safety in Bali. This is a descriptive study, with the assumptions that the cause of accidents is dominated by human error which is the driver. The result of the study showed that there are some factors play important roles as the cause of accident and the main factor in bus accident dealing with the infrastructure's safety improvement is vehicles' calibration.Keywords: safety facilities, bus

One contributing factor is fatigue and sleepiness as t travels away from the driver. rhe results of this study is gathering suggestions fram users abaut the existence of the highway rest rrea that can function both associated with a reduction in toll road accident rate and its facilities fesired by the driver when they are in the resting place of the vehicle after releasing tired vehicles. Abstract

Every day the traffic flows along the coast of Jakarta - Cirebon dominating by the transport 1 goods either from the east (Central Java and EastJava) and west (Jakart and Banten). Monitoring results from the path of Jakarta to Cirebon coast showe that many trailer trucks and other freight vehicles crowd along northern route toward JakartCi Cirebon for average speed of about 30-40 miles per hour. The heavs traff1 caused, congestion in a number of points, because of the markets, publ1 transport indiscipline, road conditions and narrowing had because of the curve road and bridg The most important problem is the locations used as temporary pemberhetian place /parkin lot side of the road freight transport mainly Pan tura Jakarta - Cirebon among anillegal dismissal or parked alongside a road leading to, among others, the occurrenc of congestion. Abstract

Typical of public transportation in Banten is dominated by small-mini bus with capacity of12 passengers.  The system of this public transportation has already arranged by local government. The villagers usually waiting for this public transportation  on the side of the street near their village since there is very rare ofbus stop in Province Banten. One of the most common transportation challenges today in Provision Banten  is keeping  up with the rapid villagers' population growth. This population growth directly affects existing  public transportation capacity and congestion levels - which directly affects the distribution ofharvest since the congestion used to happened and seen in many street notfar from traditional market, school, hospital and  some road travelled.  Road safety has not seen aspriority for the public transportation  in Banten, as it seen from the vehicles'feasibility, driver's behaveior that require regular supervise and from the passengers view as well since they tend to ignore the safety as long as their need of transportation fulfilled. The operational movement ofpublic transportation  in Banten  can be divided into three categories; based on  time (busy time and unoccupied), purpose of travel  (working,  school,  and shopping),  and type of activity (eg: household business). Public  transportation  in  Province of Banten serves  two cities and four districts including 1.207 dependent villages, and reliant villages and any other kinds ofvillage.  The result of this study is kind of recommendations for the regional government in order to improve the safety road moreover the quality ofpublic transportation service in Province ofBanten.
