Abstract

Pancasila sebagai basis moralitas haluan kebangsaan dan kenegaraan dalam implementasi nilai-nilai Pancasila berdasarkan Bhineka Tunggal Ika. Oleh karena itu, perlu dimengerti dan dipahami sebagai realita kehidupan bermasyarakat, berbangsa dan bernegara dalam bingkai Negara Kesatuan Republik Indonesia. Dunia sudah berubah dan akan terus berubah, hanya bangsa yang cerdas mengolah perubahan akan mampu bertahan dan menang dalam menghadapi tantangan. Tujuan penulisan ini adalah untuk mengkaji dan mengetahui Pancasila sebagai basis moralitas haluan kebangsaan dan kenegaraan dalam implementasi nilai-nilai Pancasila berdasarkan bhineka tunggal ika. Penelitian ini menggunakan kajian pustaka secara deskriptif dengan pemilihan sumber-sumber informasi, melalui buku-buku, jurnal-jurnal, dan peraturan perundang-undangan yang ada hubungannya dengan permasalahan. Hasil menunjukkan bahwa Pancasila sebagai basis moralitas haluan kebangsaan dan kenegaraan dalam implementasi nilai – nilai Pancasila berdasarkan bhineka tunggal ika dapat membangun kebersamaan dan keberagaman sebagai kekuatan bersama dalam kemanusiaan menuju kedamaian.

Abstract

The third wave in human civilization according to Alvin Toffler is information technology which accelerates the communication process and interaction to convey information in social media. Medium of communication with the Internet network resulted in a socio-cultural changes which can be positive or negative. Positive changes can facilitate intercultural communication, exchange of knowledge, and simplify business transactions. Meanwhile, the negative changes will have a cultural shock as the impact because of the information which was obtained from social media is taken for granted, believed to be true and applied in everyday life even though it is not in accordance with the surrounding culture. This can lead to changes in values, norms, and rules of communication. In connection with social media, it is regulated in Law No. 11 Year 2008 on Electronic Transaction Information (ITE) as a social control in conveying information based on Constitution of the Republic of Indonesia 1945 (UUD NRI 1945) article 28, which can reflect the cultural values of Pancasila.

Abstract

The importance of media literacy and democratic education for Indonesia society is not only related to the high media exposure or the tsunami of information from the media itself, but also relates to several factors. The first factor is the important role of information in the democratic process. Second is the important role of cultural and citizenship participation, then the third factor is the development of popular culture which made more children and adolescents access digital media in higher frequency. The purpose of writing this paper is to discuss how media literacy and democratic education in the information society to be more intelligent, critical, and wise in choosing information. The data collection method used is a literature study with descriptive analysis techniques. The results of the discussion show that media literacy and democratic education can be a compass for information society to be more intelligent, critical, and wise in choosing information so that they are not trapped in a tsunami of information from the media or become victims of fake facts (hoax) and fake news that can impact the life in society, nation and state.

Abstract

Restrictions on activities by government policies bring the public to get to know more about the use of digital media that have the capacity and internet network. Once the policy takes effect a clear change occurs to the number of users of social media, online applications and various internet-based platforms. Starting from the place of business, workplace to centralized education institution with the use of internet-based digital media to connect every citizen who lives in their respective homes to keep their obligations. The purpose of this paper is to find out and analyzing the importance of digital media literacy in families during the Corona Virus Disease 2019 (COVID-19) pandemic. The data collection method used is a literature study with descriptive analysis techniques. The results are showed that digital media literacy in the family is very important in the COVID-19 pandemic so that families can prevent negative influences of bad content harming their family members. Key words: digital media literacy, family and COVID-19 pandemic.

Abstract

Restrictions on activities by government policies bring the public to get to know more about the use of The Coronavirus Disease 2019 (COVID-19) has been the cause and responsible for many of deaths worldwide, which at this time of writing, the number of victims worldwide reached six million which 157 thousand deaths in Indonesia. Although preventive measures by Indonesia government such as Pemberlakuan Pembatasan Kegiatan Masyarakat (PPKM) have been able to limit mortality and morbidity, the new mutations keep appearing and taking victims. The world considered vaccination to be a key to end the COVID-19 pandemic yet not little of public side eyes surrounding the development and the COVID-19 vaccine itself so local government decided to make vaccination as requirements people should obey. Indonesia government creating tracing and tracking application named PeduliLindungi as the tools and convenient way updating the latest information and surveillance the situation with the society which also included in the requirement for public to have access on public facilities.  The purpose of this paper is to find out and analyzing PeduliLindungi as requirements for publik activities outside during the COVID-19 pandemic. The data collection method used is a literature study with descriptive analysis techniques. The results are showed that PeduliLindungi helping many including both society and government in increasing the number of vaccinated and a convenient tool for assuring society accessing public facilities during this still on-going pandemic.  Key words: PeduliLindungi, vaccination, and COVID-19 pandemic.

Abstract

Since the pandemic caused by the SARS-CoV-2 virus (COVID-19) appeared in the end of 2019 it significantly affected the tourism industry. Government in Indonesia have adopted emergency measures and restrictions that have affected the mobility of everyone. From museum to amusement park, they were empty, even closed since people’s movements were stopped, and travel among different territories was strictly controlled. Lockdown and quarantine around the world caused by COVID-19 has harmed people’s livelihoods and the world economy. During this situation government pushing the idea of the advantage of digital era and adopted by tourism industry. The purpose of this paper is to find out and analyzing tourism industry has facing during the pandemic and how it used digital technology in purpose of revive their condition. The data collection method used is a literature study with descriptive analysis techniques. The results are showed that Indonesia tourism industry starting to get better in situation by using digital media and working together with application that provides help for tourist planning the trip and open the new chances of new business.
