Abstract

This research is a literature study with a type of descriptive qualitative research with a literature review (Library research) that describes the epidemiological challenges of plant diseases in food security. The author uses various written sources such as articles, journals and documents relevant to the study in this study. In order to increase the role of the agricultural sector, the development of a sustainable food system is a key requirement. Factors that support modern agriculture are human resources (HR), high-quality seeds, quality agricultural products, and high-tech mechanization. The components that become anticipatory steps in suppressing the rate of plant disease epidemics, including: determination of planting location and time, planting resistant varieties, planting healthy seeds, fertilization, physical and mechanical control, chemical control and biological control.

Abstract

The number of unemployed people in 2015-2024 tends to increase due to the emergence of layoffs influenced by the turmoil of economic growth which tends to stagnate or slightly decline, although inflation can be low, but the fluctuating Rupiah exchange rate weakens, and the value of imports tends to increase the price of goods needed for production makes the conditions of operational financing and production costs increasingly large and makes companies tend to reduce salary costs which have an impact on layoffs which give rise to an increase in open unemployment in Indonesia which is a burden on the State. This study aims to determine and analyze the extent to which economic growth, inflation, exchange rates, and import values ​​will affect the unemployment rate in Indonesia through the real impact of mass layoffs that will occur in 2024. The research method uses a quantitative descriptive method with data collection techniques using observation, questionnaires and literature studies, while data analysis uses classical assumption tests, multiple linear regression tests and hypothesis tests. Based on the research results, it can be concluded that information systems can become more relevant through the digital transformation process by analyzing organizational needs, modernizing technology infrastructure, digitizing business processes, integrating new technologies, building integration between systems and implementing monitoring and analytics, and it can be concluded that digital information systems can improve business operational efficiency by automating operational processes, integrating data and systems, making faster and more accurate decisions, reducing operational costs and facilitating overall digital transformation.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengidentifikasi peran Usaha Mikro, Kecil, dan Menengah (UMKM) dalam pengembangan ekonomi Indonesia serta menganalisis potensi dan hambatan yang dihadapi oleh UMKM. Dengan latar belakang pentingnya peran UMKM dalam perekonomian Indonesia. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah kajian pustaka. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa UMKM memiliki peran yang signifikan dalam pembangunan ekonomi Indonesia, namun masih menghadapi tantangan seperti akses terbatas terhadap modal, kurangnya infrastruktur pendukung, dan kendala dalam pemasaran dan distribusi produk. Kesimpulan dari penelitian ini menekankan pentingnya merumuskan kebijakan yang tepat untuk mendukung pertumbuhan dan daya saing UMKM agar dapat berperan lebih efektif dalam menggerakkan ekonomi Indonesia secara inklusif dan berkelanjutan

Abstract

This community service aims to improve students' understanding of capital markets and investment and to foster students' interest in investing in order to achieve the government's strategic program and national economic growth through the capital market, which has an important role for the Indonesian economy. This activity was attended by 50 participants from students in the Faculty of Business and Humanities who have taken the Financial Management course. The methods used include the preparation, implementation, evaluation and preparation of reports. The preparation stage begins with conducting an audience and reviewing the place of service implementation, the implementation stage is carried out by socialization and education by matching the prepared material related to the capital market and increasing students' interest in investing and conducting an evaluation after the activity is carried out by looking at the responses of participants with questions and answers. Through this service, it provides an understanding and information about capital market investment products, namely mutual fund investments. Which is an alternative investment in the capital market and is suitable for beginners because it is easy to increase students' interest in investing and is safer.

Abstract

Kemampuan berbicara dalam bahasa Inggris memainkan peran yang sangat penting dalam kesuksesan karier di dunia bisnis global. Artikel ini bertujuan untuk menjelaskan pentingnya memahami faktor-faktor yang memengaruhi keterampilan berbicara bahasa Inggris dalam konteks bisnis, serta untuk menyoroti manfaat yang diperoleh oleh mahasiswa yang mahir dalam bahasa Inggris bisnis. Metode penelitian yang digunakan dalam artikel ini adalah tinjauan literatur, yang bertujuan untuk mengeksplorasi peran signifikan keterampilan berbicara bahasa Inggris dalam membuka peluang bisnis global, membangun kepercayaan dan reputasi, membina hubungan interpersonal yang kuat, meningkatkan prospek karir, serta mendorong inovasi dan pertumbuhan bisnis. Temuan penelitian menunjukkan bahwa meskipun keterampilan berbicara bahasa Inggris memiliki kepentingan yang signifikan dalam konteks bisnis global, mahasiswa sering menghadapi hambatan dalam mengembang-kannya. Hambatan ini bisa berasal dari faktor-faktor psikologis dan kesulitan menemukan kata-kata yang tepat. Oleh karena itu, pemahaman terhadap faktor-faktor yang memengaruhi keterampilan berbicara bahasa Inggris di antara mahasiswa dalam konteks pembelajaran bahasa Inggris untuk bisnis menjadi sangat penting. Kesimpulan dari penelitian ini adalah bahwa keterampilan berbicara bahasa Inggris bukan hanya merupakan kebutuhan praktis dalam arena bisnis global, tetapi juga kunci untuk mencapai kesuksesan pribadi dan profesional, membangun hubungan yang kuat, dan mendorong pertumbuhan bisnis yang berkelanjutan.
