Abstract

Dibandingkan dengan Kristen, terdapat beberapa kesamaan antara Yahudi dan Islam. Selain bahwa keduanya memberi tekanan yang amat penting pada hukum, Yahudi dan Islam adalah dua tradisi yang sama-sama mewakili ?atau paling tidak mengklaim?sebagai pewaris monoteisme yang ditabalkan oleh Nabi Ibrahim. Artikel ini memotret beberapa aspek teologis (ketuhanan) dari sudut kajian kritis atas teks-teks kitab suci bagi kedua tradisi (Taurat dan Al-Quran).

Abstract

The idea of wali has a meaning that varies from one scientific discipline to another. What is meant in the terminology of the fuqoha (disciplines of jurisprudence) is clearly not the same as the description understood by the Sufis (disciplines of Sufism). This article is intended to trace the use of the term wali in the perspective of Muslim Philosophers (disciplines of philosophy).
